So I've spent a whole season back in the league now, and I'm inclined to think I'm sticking it out this time, especially with the new PT rule where you can do a bunch of work at once and not have to worry about it later. The one thing I haven't yet done though? Practice Facility. Back in the day it used to be that you just put your guy and your team in the thread and get a point. Now you have to post in three game threads and link them in the post for the point. While I get the purpose of it (creating activity in game threads) most of my activity is at work, and my work computers don't really support multiple tabs. It makes it hard to actually link anything. I mean I could just go on when I'm at home (and I already do when I'm doing my updates, when I actually do them) but it's kind of outside my normal flow to go on a separate time and do all the links just to get 1 point. Not suggesting anything different, for the league as a whole the current system is fine, just it ends up with me not doing Practice Facility.

It is their rightful and ancestral home. When the other players take over the VHLM, the estranged and initially least plot-relevant Klopfenstein sister will retake it several seasons later.

Anyway, one of the people running for his vacated spot is this doc who until recently worked at the hospital I work at (he switched hospitals not long before he started to run). Oh I know and I'm not typically a points guy, I've made a lot of defensive D and run up the shot blocks, but I mean I'm not doing much of anything. I'm a minus, on the second best team in the league. I was playing pretty well all around in Vegas, I come to Ottawa and choke. The only thing I've done well is faceoffs, which admittedly were a thing I was building so it's good to see at least that pay off

Guy I used to work with (Bob Solomon) is running for a House seat just south of me (I'm north Allegheny County PA, just above Pittsburgh, he's south Allegheny County just below Pittsburgh - the guy who held the seat resigned because he told his mistress to get an abortion while holding a stance against it - Tim Murphy if that's made any non-local news). He's an ER doc. His main issue is healthcare, and who better to judge on that than a guy who works in it?

I did RNG for top 3 in obstacle/skater/shot, it gave you second in obstacle, so I figured I'd make the margin close to balance out the fact that it didn't give you anything in fastest skater (and to fabricate a little drama since the margin between the teams was so wide)
