Second “fuck it” of the topic but we have a lot of new members since the holiday events and I can do what I want so here’s what’s gonna happen:
 
Any member that joined after Christmas Day and comments in this thread before noon (EST) on Sunday will get 1 entry into each of the 4 tiers! This way the new members potentially get to be involved in the raffle as well.

Better late than never right? I promise we didn't forget about the holiday prize raffle! The draw will be taking place Sunday, January 28th, around 7pm EST. As previously mentioned the prize pool consists of 14 prizes spread over 4 tiers.
 
Tier 1 - 5 Winners
5 uncapped TPE
 
Tier 2 - 5 Winners
$15 donation equivalent (IE you get the reward choice of a $15 donation without donating, can be claimed even if you have donated this season.)
 
Tier 3 - 3 Winners

The draw will be at random and the number of entries you have is based on the number of 12 days of Christmas threads you responded to. Everyone who responded to at least 1 day has at least 1 entry and everyone, staff included, are allowed to win. As usual if you win something and would prefer to receive the prize from the tier below you can do that. Additionally we will not exchange any prize for cash value but a difference in prize that costs the same or less can be negotiated under certain circumstances.

Yup. Player creation, lines, simming, and outputting all need to be able to be automated to match what we’re capable of with STHS. Without that at the very least we lose daily sims that have been a VHL staple from day 1 because simming just becomes too difficult.
 
Not to mention you can ask some SHL members how switching engines went, it’s not always greener on the other side.

Man if we had the budget to do that…

Never heard back on the most recent queries. Lame. It's been a tough start to the year in the Meister household; my older child is turning 17 in March so there's a lot of activity with that, and college tours and whatnot. Still, need to send out EVEN MOAR queries.
 
On the YouTube front, thanks to those who helped me reach the 150 sub mark! If you missed it, my VHL holiday auction was won by Baozi, who picked Leisure Suit Larry. The video is live on my channel, just about an hour of hyper-phallic gameplay. It's a surprisingly fun adventure game, though.
 
Finally, if anyone is at all interested in designing me a better YT logo, give me a shout in my messages. I've been thinking the AE thing is cool but could be much better, and y'all are the best graphics people I know

I will say I've asked you this, but mainly because my worry was that you were pulling the age-old GM burnout tactic of "kamikaze a team by going all in with all assets and then step down before the rebuild if it fails." This 100% would not have been an ask had there not been a history of GMs doing this. Even recently in the M, we've had some GMs go all in knowing they would quit at the conclusion of a season.
 
Also if you're just straight up getting harassed that isn't like....someone trying to actually help you with constructive criticism, report it. Mods are supposed to handle situations like this, regardless of who the member is - staff member or not. If they decide not to action on valid reports, then that's a moderation issue that would definitely get addressed.

I would like to see an editiable player page so we can write about our player and flesh them out more as a person and note where they first started playing, how they felt about a loss and responses to interviews. I know it is a simulattion but i want flesh out these people and make more then just names by being given a space to write about them in a players page

I wouldn't force you into that especially given the articles are there in the submissions forum, albeit not all pretty and glossy. Maybe someone should offer you TPE for it 🤔

I have Editions 222-327 on my current computer. The ones I was Editor for 155-222 would all be on my old lap top that is long gone. I have them in inDesign files, so I would have to reupload them as pdfs, and in doing so all the graphics and Magazine Covers will need to be reuploaded or the resolution would be pretty bad. Luckily I think I did the majority of the Magazine Covers at the times, so I could probably track them down as well.
 
If there was an actaul interest in this, I could potentially upload these somewhere, but it would be pretty time consuming. So, not sure how reassuring that is, but it's some of VHL History that isn't completely gone..
 
Note: The first random Magazine Edition I opened had a little write up about Victor as he had just stepped down as Commish.... weird.
