Some would say that the Rock has not been himself. Some would say he looks downright out of it. Some would be correct. Ever since the Euros have started (The famous football [soccer] tournament among European countries), he has seldom down little else other than train while wathcing the games... along with playing a VHL game every evening. He just can't seem to find a way to stop watching. "I grew up a WWE fan... I became a hockey fan, but I've always been draw to football. I has to be whatever is in my English blood." It also means he's used to disappointment. England, after beating Crotia, are failing to score against historic rivals Scotland. We are entering the 90th minute and there doesn't seem to be anything going for England. Utter shite. Credit to Scotland but no credit to England. "I am very used to England disappointng me, but it never gets better... it's like if I was a Leafs fan... or a Dynamo fan."

So we are over half way through the regular season of S78. It's kind of crazy to think that. We're also approaching the halfway point of 2021... when did that happen? It's Theme Week this week and the topic of the season will probably end up being the topic of the next 3 - 5 seasons, if you want my opinion (and if you don't, too bad you're getting it anyway). The Victory Hockey franchise is expanding and creating another league, slated to begin in Season 80, just the season after next. This will create an interesting choice for member in the VHL in regards to whether they want to spend their time in Europe, or try to skip it for a unique chance of playing 9 seasons in the VHL and capturing some all-time goal scoring or hitting titles. I haven't figured out whether I'll skip the VHLE or not. I think it will all depend on how active I am at the time I re-create. If I am super active and gaining all the TPE, then I may skip it.. but on the flip side it would be an all-new experience for me after so many seasons of the same thing. So we'll see. One thing's for sure - I'll be watching the Euros this month.

It’s been a mediocre start to the season for Phil the Rock Johnson. Through the first 33 games of the season, The Rock has registered just 3 goals and 16 assists, with an unsurprising shooting percentage of 5.77%. On the plus side, his physicality continues to be his best attribute, as he has smashed a team leading 117 opponents, to only be hit 25 times. Moreover, he is the leading forward in terms of plus/minus rating, registering a +16. It seems at least one of his two-way play seems to be working. VHL analytics are predicting to see continued slow improvement to his play as the season wears on. This will be well received news from the Wrangler Organization, as the competition in the North American conference is one of the most fierce we have seen in many VHL seasons. “I am confident that I can continue to help out defensively as well as start to contribute more consistently to our offense. I’ve been passively slotting in where I felt we needed it, but I’m about to take a more offensive approach.” The Rock said.

1. Who is our team's MVP so far this season? For me, it's gotta be @Prout so far. The man is one of two of our core defense, he has the highest plus/minus rating, and he's tallied 28 points and 89 blocked shots. He's a tank. 2. If you could pick an ideal time for sims to be posted each and every day, what time would it be? Midday EST. Just would be nicer for me. But I honestly don't care because I don't need to check it straight away. Once it's posted it's always there. 3. What do you think the trade deadline will look like for us? We'll probably try to bring in one more veteran defenseman. Our offensive core is progressing nicely but we need to give @Gooningitupsome more support - although last sim was absolute perfection! 4. What is the best part of having Ricer as a GM? The office gifs @Ricer13. That and just his general aura of awesome. 5. Who do you sit next to in the locker room? What is it like to sit with them? I sit next to fellow draftee @Greg_Di. He smells a bit. Or maybe that's me? I don't know. He's great either way. 6. Review: - Audio quality is great - always key to a good podcast. As is a silky smooth voice. Check and check - Intro was good - short and sweet. I like how you welcome us, the intro plays and then you launch into your random bullshit - Spent too much time deciding if you'd save a piece of info for this podcast or your three-point one, haha - There are a lot of old members lurking around. It's kind of nice but sometimes I wish we'd all be a little more active around the place. - Nice run-down of Free Agency moves. It was good because I COMPLETELY forgot about it so I had no idea who went where. - Jim Bob to Prague bodes well for player and team! Big pick up. - @MattyIcewill have a better chance of winning a cup in Seattle, but he would have had more fun on Calgary - Yes, Robbie did move Hamilton to New York. Was the only good move he ever made hah - We are making good moves in Calgary for sure. The Sim hasn't been great to us and we have a massive hole in our defense, but overall we're on the right path - You love young Miami boys? - Seems to be quite a strong draft overall!
