  1. The problem I see with this is that it'll become a popularity contest. I don't think it would shake any biases.
  2. Charles Poliquan is a big believer in thick grip. Practicing with thicker sticks would actually stimulate many more muscles in the hands and forearms that with the conventional hockey sticks. This is the simple concept of irradiation. It's the same reason that when you want to show off your biceps, you forcibly squeeze your fist tightly to get maximum power. Therefore, I endorse this article.
  3. I think that complaints about the grades received should go straight to the Head Grader. I don't believe there would be any bias and if there is, then maybe there needs to be a new head grader. Otherwise, what's the point of having a head grader at all?
  4. Over this past weekend, Phil Villeneuve's agent, Phil Knight (who stupidly has a rule that he only signs clients that share his first name) decided that jumping multiple times through a cut out hole in the ice was a great way to spend Sunday morning. He went up North, build Snow shelters, slept in them, did some icy high ropes and leaps of faith, and of course, skinny dipped in ice water, fully submerged, before, during and after sweating out in a sauna. He believes that this trip (a mandatory requirement for a university degree) will help him acquire the skills to find the hidden hockey gems in this country and tap into a unique supply of Northern Girl Booty. While we are still trying to decipher the meaning behind that last paragraph, it looks like Villeneuve will be up for grabs this off-season. Riga, after losing to the New Rig Americans, will be rebuilding and moving on from their core of players that handled the organization, leading them to a cup in S40, Anyway, I had a great weekend. How was yours?
  5. Well... I can't be disappointed... I mean I can be, and I kind of am, but.... okay, let me restart this: Didn't think at the start of the season we'd have a realistic shot at winning the Cup. New York was always going to be the team to beat and the fact that we made it to Game 7 in the Finals is great. Too bad I was winter camping and polar dipping so I arrived late to the party. Congrats Americans, you fabulous bunch of riggers and trolls. Love you all. Tfong, plz come back to me. Congratulations to my Riga crew. This is the end of an era. I had a phenominal time playing on this team and was glad I could contribute in some way to this. Thank you Mike, flyersfan, and Jamie for helping me stick around for the first half of Villeneuve's career. Eagles - you get the most entertaining posts in the lockerroom in Phil's opinion award. The rest of you: I love you all (and more than those Americans bums). But damn... those bums of Red White and Win.

  10. VILLENEUVE WITH THE GAME WINNER? NO WAY! I honestly thought we'd be done in 5! This is much better than I expected Riga to do! Now at worst we lose in 7. ... and oddly enough I would be okay with that.... *edit: but go-Riga-go
  11. Nah, I think mine is pretty darn accurate

  19. Nice. Good group.
  20. All I can say is that the Seahawks tried to pull off something that (apparently) only works in fictitious movies... like the flying V in the Mighty Ducks... It was as if Krum was coaching Seattle He definitely wanted to lose under his terms and all the while was looking over at the Pats bench saying:
  21. 10:46 of 1st period - Phil Villeneuve is hit by Tom Slaughter. OH SNAP Sterling DOES love me <3
  22. Greg's a Seattle dude. Through and through. Though I have to say, I kinda wanna play with Sundberg at some point in his career so this story I shall be following.
