1 - To be fair I dont know what exactly are you asking as I dont watch NHL. Do you mean how the referees are doing? In any case, Im impartial.

1. I feel like, in order, you'd need a Defense, Goalie, an then Forward. Of course, some players are much better at simply scoring, but if you think about it, they say defense is the best offense against the best scorers in the league!

1. Just goes to show how good both teams are. Dallas has massive depth, sometimes you can get stricken by a hot goalie / day.

2. Large TPE difference going from 150 TPE to 300TPE, also ice time goes up and you get more PP time the more TPE you get on average.

1. I'm cheering for montreal but honestly I doubt we will go far and honestly I just want the final series to have a Canadian team in it and win it thats all I care for
2. I joined back in 2021 and honestly what kept me here was the amount of fun you could have with your player and all the roleplaying stuff is just super interesting

1. Good question, I hope there is some fun things planned now that I've joined the S100 boomer reunion party. They just need a little bit of that Holiday 2021 magic and I'll be very happy.

2. I literally did just this, wasn't happy with my last player, my first defenseman, found it rather boring and made me super disinterested. Maybe that was from the teams I was on, or league moderation, I don't actually know. But I made a winger, I was going to go C, but I'm not going to be a max earner so the wing is probably better in the long term to keep a solid build together.

3. There's definitely some players I drafted and GMed that would be up there, whether it be Girts Galvins @Girts, Zach Kisslinger II @Kisslinger, or Brian Payne @Scurvy, but if I was going to pick someone completely seperate from my own VHL career entirely (mostly), the first one that comes to mind is probably someone like Tui Sova @v.2. Just played the game the right way.

1. Fall, I am not a fan of super warm weather, I am ok in cold weather but I hate shoveling, spring usually gives me some allergy headaches...soooo fall by default! 

2. The store seems an interesting idea, but there seems to be a bit of pay money to get benefits going on which I consider a bit of a turn off, I understand there has to be funds to run the forum and pay for the game license but advancing the character beyond the scope of F2P seems a bit wild.

3. I have no idea what theme weeks are, like best playoff moments of all time? All sports... Hawaiian shirts? 0 clue.

1. I love dill pickle chips! I don't know what it is since I don't like whole pickles at all but that flavouring on a potato is elite I guess. 

2. Funny enough, I usually bring the chips to the pot luck. I'm not confident in my cooking/baking so I opt for the chips/drinks/cutlery/whatever type thing.

3. I haven't been taken in either yet! I'm hoping to go high and live up to the expectations though.

1. It's a tough call, but Feka Ohi Kau leading the league in points during the playoffs as a defenseman is super impressive, especially with the three game winning goals. Lorequavius was solid in net though.

2. I liked that we held on and stayed in the playoffs despite trading a few key players at the deadline. Getting my first goal was pretty cool too.

3. It's pretty basic, but I like listening to music, reading, and playing video games.

1. Playoff hockey is definitely a different beast. You go from playing San Jose and Chicago to a good team every other day. They're really focusing on his weaknesses and taking advantage of them. I don't think it's as much of a mental issue as it is the way he plays in net. He's typically further back in his crease than most goalies, has a patient playstyle. I think it's backfiring on him because over the course of a 7 game series you're going to face guys who can rip it, especially through screens. Far more vulnerable to deflections as well. 

2. I'm gonna go with DC. Not that I don't believe in Prague, I just see the vision for DC to sneak into a wild card this time.

3. Praying the Hawks don't win it and remain at 2nd overall so we can have a chance at 1st next year. Something makes me think Seattle is moving up this time. They're due.

Leafs hatred is universal . So cool that you got to experience the cup win with everyone. Hoping one day I can do the same!

 

1. I think it's a bit of both. When your team is that much better than the competition during the regular season, you don't necessarily face the sort of mid-season adversity that can bring a team together the way other teams might. 

2. Definitely prefer warm weather as a Floridian. Although the rink gets pretty hot during the summers here and the ice is generally pretty bad. 

3. Bias says we need a team in Tampa, but for sure we're missing a team in Minnesota. For Europe, a German team would be cool as well.

1.) It's just hard to win the cup. I don't think this is a hot take but the best team doesn't win the cup every year - just the team that's hot at the right time. Doesn't mean it isn't extremely entertaining though.

2.) In general I'll take it being cold over it being hot. Being in PA it gets "cold" but not like routinely below zero windchill or anything. Same thing about it being "hot" but not too hot usually.

3.) I would bring back the Cologne Express and put a team in the Southwest US or CA.

1) I really hate the amount of actual, personal vitriol people have for someone who roots for a different team. At this point, I've stopped attempting to even talk to other people that enjoy sports because liking the wrong team apparently brings out the worst in sports fans.

 

2) That's a really good question, honestly. I think my biggest surprise as I've joined and participated is just how seriously it gets taken a lot of the time. If you partake in the right activities or jobs, it starts to feel like a second job altogether instead of a casual hobby, and that wasn't really something I was expecting.

 

3) I usually get between 5 and 6 on weekdays, and somewhere between 8 and 11 on weekends (excluding naps). I actually wish I got a little less on weekends, sometimes it feels like I just sleep a day away, but everything is working out as it stands.

1. I'd have to put my money on the Jets against the Stars. I think people think the Stars will win easily and will bet for them but I'm willing to take the odd chance that Winnipeg pulls through somehow.

2. I am very excited: I'm a recreate myself! Circus Monkey is gonna be playing hockey and definitely won't anally fist anybody.

3. Winning a cup because at the end of the day me and the person going 1st overall will likely enter the league anyways; it doesn't make a difference other than bragging rights.
