True.

I think things could change with the return of Walker; he adds more width to the attack and is a natural right back, which neither Dier nor Chiriches are. Walker's return combined with the possible arrival of Yedlin in January could also mean that Dier would be pushed back towards playing center back, and I personally would love to see him get some playing time at CB.

Maybe I'm too optimistic though - there are still some worrying parts, especially concerning the rumors of some players slacking off a lot in practice.

Agree with everything you said above, but I'm worried about in our general lack of width and attacking on the wings in general. I know that a lot of this has to do with having a CB stuck at RB for essentially the whole season so far, but I can only watch so many failed balls over the defenders heads through the middle (like essentially all of the 1st half last game) until I want to pull my hair out. I think a lot of this has to do with Lamela* always wanting to cut inside, but it's not like we have any more traditional wingers that are at an adequate skill level to replace him with.

*I've only been watching soccer outside of the World Cup for this year really, but I can't think of another player in any sport who has frustrated me as much as Lamela has. It's obvious how much skill he has, but the amount of times he holds  on to the ball too long or fails to utilize the players around him is just infuriating.

Crystal fucking Palace? Jesus. At least the Aussie captain(Jedinak) scored from a great free kick I suppose.

:(

:suicide:

But what about Mike Dean in that Man U/ Arsenal match?

I can't believe United got the win. I have never seen a team be utterly dominated and then manage to win without creating more than 2 chances.

For the Gibbs own goal... Not only was Felleni offside but also clearly pushes Gibbs into Szchezny? (yea *spelling but whatev)

Crystal Place are now my second team because they are the only team in the prem to have cheerleaders.

lol one shot on target, two goals.

Arsenal deserves it though for Wilshere thinking he was Zidane. Problem is that you leave that until your last game, not before you've achieved anything.

Agueroably the best City play and the best striker in the league

Yeah I have to admit. Watching Costa is so refreshing after last few seasons though, but Aguero is something else.

All these former Atletico strikers...

It's all about the small south americans tbh... Suarez, Aguero, Sanchez, Messi, Neymar...

I read a really interesting article the other week basically stating that we are seeing all these gritty forwards with fantastic control and movement from south america because they all still play street football.

But then in a team game they can't get it done haha.

Yeah Wenger said that. A bit hyped since it reflects the current Prem situation but Argentina and Uruguay have been producing this little people for an eternity.

Brazil is on a continent of its own in this regard imotbh.

In all seriousness, we've struggled because we don't have Sturridge. Add in Sturridge and we control the ball in the opposition's territory a lot easier. Balotelli less pressure. Boom. Magic.

Sex.

Champs league.

Gerrard wins life.

Sturridge is a ridiculous miss. Sterling's been so utter crap without him. Now his confidence is shot; he's been rubbish as of late. He needs a striker that has pace and can link up with his runs. Without him, he's just falling all over the place trying to win the easy foul. It's infuriating actually. Can't wait till Sturridge comes back.

Regardless, a very necessary win. Great awareness by Sterling on the winning goal. Obvy a classy finish by Stevie G. Need to see more of that.

Also, Mignolet .... IN or OUT during the January transfer window?

Oh and Coach, as long as we don't finish 5th of 6th and have to play in that meaningless Europa League bullshit.

Wish granted. 7th it is.
