Riga Reign Jersey Retirement

Recommended Posts

With our short-lived reign of the VHL's European Conference over, it is now time for Riga to begin to honor those who made this generation of Reign special. One of the few "lifers" to not have been originally selected in the VHL Entry Draft by the team they are synonymous with, Brennan McQueen joined the Riga Reign organization during Season 35 in a trade with the Seattle Bears. After finishing his time in the VHLM with the Ottawa Lynx, McQueen was named captain at the beginning of Season 36, a title he would have until the end of his playing days. McQueen would eventually become known as one of the VHL's premier power forwards and two-way players, taking home two Scott Boulet trophies and being nominated many other seasons. At this time, the Riga Reign would like to officially retire Brennan McQueen's number 95, and congratulate him on his successful career.
