The S75 World Junior Hockey Championship is finally here.

It's been a long, tough slog.

First, we had GM Announcements.

Spoiler

The creativity, the celebrations, the controversy- it was an exciting start to our WJC season.

Then came the players.

Rookies finishing their season in the bigs and VHLM superstars alike flooded into the tournament bubble from all over the world. Each team is hungry for gold, and has their own reasons for expecting to win the tournament.

~~~
Team Europe, deadset on a repeat gold.
Team World, ready to show the other nations that last year wasn't a fluke.
Team USA, never expecting anything less than gold.
Team Canada, hoping and praying that this was the year to finally break out.
Team Asia, ready to play spoiler and upset teams that don't respect them.
~~~

Let's get to it.

The tournament index will be out by Sunday January 10.

Play will begin on Monday January 11.

Team will play a round-robin, where each nation will face each other twice.

After that, the Medal Round will commence. The fourth and fifth place teams will face off in the Quarter Finals. The winner assume the 4th seed.

Semi-finals will be 1v4 and 2v3. The winners will play for gold, and the losers for bronze.

Finally, team and individual awards will be presented at the medal ceremony to close the tournament.
