Devise 4,475 Posted November 27, 2014 Share Posted November 27, 2014 The following changes/additions will be made to the Player Store at the end of the playoffs and as we hit Season 41. The cost of a position change is being changed from $4,000,000 to $3,000,000 to accommodate younger players who wish to change players earlier on in their career. The following two options will be added to the player store: "The Jaromir Jagr" - $6,000,000 Can only be purchased in the off season before depreciation and only once per season. Choose an attribute, your player doesn't experience any depreciation in that attribute during the depreciation period before the following season. Old But Not Forgotten - $10,000,000 This upgrade may only be purchased in the offseason and only before your 7th and 8th seasons. Your attributes depreciate by 1% less than normal. The point of some of these purchases is so that people have options available to them. We have stated before it isn't returning to a point where every season people can just dump their money on stuff that makes sense. There is a give and take, a balance. Before people would save up a bit to get the 20 TPE. Players entering the final seasons of their contracts now have options, but maybe it require saving for two or three seasons. Keep in mind as well there will be other opportunities to earn salary as well, something we have stated before. With the player store no longer being a purely "TPE thing" we are looking at more league wide events and rewards/payouts to have some salary associated with them as well.
