1. I come from a history of championships with my father winning a freaking bunch of them. That alone gives me all the confidence to beat Yukon. 2. COLE MERTZ we need some depth to score us biggie goals if we want to go far. 3. I turned down an offer from Las Vegas so it would be ironic if they won so I'll give them the most likely to win award. 4. VHL? It's all about the VHLM tbh. 5. Deny deny deny. We don't need those silly Christians putting some sort of curse on us to fail. 6. Excited for the VHLM draft, as an agency it's been 20 seasons since I've had a player in a VHL draft as my last 2 players were GM creates so I'll be pumped to get into the VHLM draft!

1. I'm joining the team for a playoff run so it really doesn't matter. Regular season is wrapped and we all know that heroes are made in the playoffs so currently - who cares - future we better be killing it. 2. Just arriving on the scene - I'll reserve judgement until I at least see the ice. 3. Scoring - I come from a family of scoring defensemen, it usually doesn't work out in the VHL but in the VHLM I plan on scoring 50. 4. The university students will be arriving soon - easy targets for BV. 5. Man I have no idea who that is, and I don't mean that disrespectfully, I just arrived. I'm here for the future and that future has a chip in it so I'm here for the current GM. 6. I signed here to experience the team and GM, I have no advice right now but win or lose keep your head up.

"give a man a team and he will gm for a season, teach a man to team and he will gm forever" It's that quote that sticks with me all these years later. I can't remember exactly who said it, but it was during a time in my life that I was looking for guidance of any kind. For years I've tried to decipher the true meaning behind the words, but I had been unable to crack the code until recently. It's all about your perspective. You will not understand it unless you are in a very specific state of mind that most people will never achieve in their whole life. When you get there - unwrap the quote and put it back together like the perfect origami - it will be a different message for everyone. The new expansion GMs are excited to start their journey but are they the man in the beginning of the quote; or are they the man in the second part? Only time will tell and I wish them well on their journey and to not be discouraged or overly encouraged. The odds are that one of them will be a success and the other will not. I will not make my choice now as to who is who, because it will be easier in hindsight. Good luck to you both.

The expansion this coming off-season is old hat now. It's all about the next expansion and it will be one that changes the global hockey landscape. Predictably we are getting another North American and another European team to round out the conferences to six teams a piece. The next expansion will shake things up more than usual. A whole new conference will be born. Let's be honest with the cross-over factor there really is no conferences they are more simply divisions in the VHL when compared to the NHL. So let me introduce the next expansion: Asian conference. There will be two new teams introduced in Asia to kick start the Asian VHL conference. Hockey is growing rapidly in Asia, specifically China, but with them being nationalist and wanting control of the entire league the VHL will entirely avoid the Chinese market (for now). The two new expansion teams will join the VHL from a short list of countries that includes Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and Japan. Eventually all five countries could have a team and by then the VHL will dominate Asian hockey culture. At this point I expect China will be begging to join as most of their elite hockey players will declare for the VHL draft and commit to playing far from home in the VHLM. S75 VHL Conferences North American: 6 teams European: 6 teams Asian: 2 teams Two expansion teams get their own conference, that seems a bit excessive. Well the next plan will be to transition the current Moscow to the Asian conference, which will be done two seasons after acclimating the new teams into a competitive position. That brings the total teams in each conference to North America: 6, European: 5, Asian: 3. S77 VHL Conferences North American: 6 teams European: 5 teams Asian: 3 teams The league will run with this setup for three to five seasons and by then one of the North American teams will be intrigued by the growing Asian market and will pull out of a struggling market where they compete locally with the NHL. By now the VHL is the premiere hockey league in Asia so it's not inconceivable for this to happen. It's tough to say which teams, but I'd personally eye the Calgary Wranglers or the new S68 expansion team to fill this spot. That brings the total teams in each conference to North America: 5, European: 5: Asian: 4. S80 VHL Conferences North American: 5 teams European: 5 teams Asian: 4 teams We are at the part where China is willing to pay to join the league with no control over any of the league aside from having a representative on the BOG. The plan is coming to completion on the Asian VHL expansion. A new expansion team joins the league. Beijing the biggest hockey market in the world outside by this time is set to join the VHL the very next season. S81 VHL Conferences North American: 5 teams European: 5 teams Asian: 5 teams Next stop... AFRICA.

Not a fan of VHL GM simming the VHL because of threads such as this ? When Jardy disappeared a couple years ago and the VHL sim job opened I had to stay with the VHLM because I was Helsinki GM and didn’t want any doubt in the legitimacy from eagles fan lol
