  1. Couldn't help but look at your reddit activity...isnt that chick from True Detective also on White Collar? I've never seen True Detective but I'm pretty sure it's the same chick.
  2. I thought I was having a down year so I was surprised to see I actually wasn't. Looks like 13 is my lucky number with goals though, I don't expect another goal before the season is up now.
  3. Now I need to be on his team to get one of these...
  4. You're a Simmer over there? It would help if I paid any attention. Good work, man, I really like your work. You're a busy sim leaguer for sure.
  5. I generally like them, too. It's hard for me to say why exactly. It's not like I can taste the food so there's really no way for me to say this guy/girl is gonna win because his/her food is awesome. It's more of a personality thing. Last season I really wanted Steven to win because he was so crazy.
  6. I was watching Masterchef this year but there was a long break between this most recent episode, which I think aired last night, and the one before it so I kind of lost interest.
  7. I recently started watching House from the beginning. That's really all I can contribute. I keep up with very little television unless it's on Netflix. The last series I saw were probably Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill...basically whatever my fiancee puts on TV while I'm home.
  8. First All Star captain now World Cup Commish? Sheesh! I think you'd be a good candidate.
  9. Daryl Dortch recently released a statement about his performance so far this season. “I know I’ve only played in fourteen games so far this season but I was definitely expecting more from myself. I haven’t been able to get the offense or the physical game going yet. One goal and seventeen hits in fourteen games? I need to step it up big time. I’m hoping my training and hard work starts to pay off soon but I’m not sure how much longer Brampton can wait. I definitely need to play hard in the post season. There are only two games left in the regular season. Hopefully I can figure things out by then. We’re 5-5 our last ten. That’s not horrible but it’s not really how we wanted to go into the playoffs. It would be nice to win the next two so we’re not limping into the playoffs coming off a four game losing streak.” The Brampton Blades will wrap up the regular season the next few days with a game against the Saskatoon Wild at home then away against the Moscow Red Wolves.
  10. So far my project 2 player has been a bust.
  11. Review: Ya know, I heard STZ is hiring some mag writers... Very well done, man, I haven't reviewed many of your articles but the ones I have read are great. I like how you referenced the previous ASGs as well. Definitely better than what I write, I can hardly remember what happened last sim let alone a whole season ago.
  12. They nailed the 80s vibe. https://m.soundcloud.com/jerry-shen-403158940/what-do-you-mean-its-1985-justin-bieber
  13. My bad, this was reviewed. First comment starts off "Reviewed:" but I failed to mark it in the title.
  14. ooo 100% faceoff percentage in this one!
  15. Quebec City Meute Defenseman, Felipe Rodriguez, is quietly having the best offensive season of his career. Through sixty two games, Flip has scored 13 goals to go along with 31 assists. He has matched his goal total from the past two seasons with nine games still remaining in the season. His 44 points surpasses his previous career high point total of 43. Despite the team’s success last year, his most productive season was actually his rookie year. It was also one of his better defensive seasons then with 189 blocked shots on the year. He has yet to reproduce blocking numbers close to that as he followed up with 96 blocked shots in S49. His 88 blocks so far this season give no indication he’ll be able to eclipse those numbers any time soon. Rodriguez, despite being top ten in power play goals scored with six, was recently relegated to the Meute’s second power play unit in favor of running a four-forward unit with star defenseman, Phil Hamilton, running the point. In fact, he has seen a decrease in almost all special teams categories. It is unclear why this has recently occurred however, his overall minutes per game have not taken a hit since the line changes. Regardless, it’s hard to imagine his point production coming to a screeching halt and he should improve upon his now career high in assists and points and soon-to-be career high in goals. His 10 power play points are four shy of his rookie season when he had seven goals and seven assists for 14 total power play points with only 179 minutes with the man advantage compared to his 199 up to this point in the season. Flip is just four points out of the top ten for defensemen behind the likes of Bubba Nuck, David Hamilton, and Titan Kronos. Of the three mentioned, Flip has the best plus-minus rating at plus-53. In fact, the entire Meute squad is towards the top of the plus-minus category. Flip has 150 hits while Hamilton and Kronos has 22 and 71 hits respectively. Nuck has played physical all season compiling 137 hits. The guys ahead of him are playing less minutes but doing more with the time they’re given. Flip will need to keep improving to catch up. He can’t expect those ahead of him to stop scoring so if he wants this to be a top ten season, he has some ground to make up. In Flip’s favor though is the fact that all ahead of him besides Jeff Hamilton have played one or two more games than him. Also on his side is that the Quebec City Meute only play the Toronto Legion once during their remaining games. They also avoid Cologne for the rest of the season, a team that seemed to have Quebec’s number during the regular season. The post season is approaching quickly and the Meute are all but guaranteed a spot in the post season. The big question will be what they can do when they get in. Will they be eliminated their first round in like last season? I guess we’ll see.
