  1. Glad you clarified. I was super jelly.
  2. I guess I was under the impression more than 5 or 6 guys stay active from a class
  3. As a season 47 draftee, I agree, my point production is way lower than I thought it would be at this point. Sleeman, SWC3, myself...only a few out of the first seven or so picks are still around as far as I know.
  4. Yeah, sorry, I think my last article went a good 8 days without even a review so don't feel TOO bad about it. I know everyone says league activity isn't down but I think PT discussion definitely is.
  5. Felipe Rodriguez looks up at the scoreboard in disbelief after their Game 5 defeat Last time we spoke to Flip, he said he looked forward to talking to us when he was raising the cup. It looks like we’ll have to wait at least a year for that to happen as his Quebec City Meute were eliminated in five games by the Toronto Legion who will now be looking to extend their championship streak. Despite the Meute’s regular season success, they failed to win a single playoff series after having a bye the first round. Following the loss, the disappointment in the locker room could be felt all around. “I definitely thought we’d put up a better fight than we did. To go out in five games to a team we seemed to play better against later in the year is really disheartening but I’m sure we’ll regroup and come out stronger next season. It will depend a lot on free agency and how things play out with retirements and the draft,” Rodriguez said. The Meute Ice Girls clean up the hats after Aleksi Koponen complete the hat trick Their lone playoff victory, a game in which they were carried by Aleksi Koponen who finished that game with a hat trick, was 3-2 Game 4 victory to give them one last chance at making it a series. In that game they outshot the Legion 35 shots to 17. In the series they outshot Toronto by a count of 169 to 158, the most lopsided being in a 3-2 Game 2 defeat where they peppered Hans Wingate with 50 shots while only allowing 29 on net themselves. Game 1, which they lost 3-1 saw the Meute have a slight advantage in total shots 34-30. There’s really no one to blame for their elimination. The puck just didn’t bounce their way when they needed it. Games 2 and 3 ended in overtime. In the elimination game, it was just about set to go into overtime when Black Velvet scored the game winner with 6 seconds remaining in the game. Rodriguez was very pleased with the way his teammates didn’t give up after they went down three games to none to start the series saying, “It would have been very easy to give up after the first three losses, two in a row going to overtime but we didn’t. We bounced back and won a game. If memory serves me, we outshot them something like 110 to 80-something games 2, 3, and 4. That’s a pretty big difference, and to go 2-1 in that stretch isn’t something that would usually happen. Again, it’s going to be easy to get down on ourselves and have our little pity party, woe is me session but we need to move on and get them next year.” There will be plenty of time for the Meute to reflect upon their season. It should be mostly positive as they had the most points in the league this year with 124, two points ahead of the Legion, nine points ahead of the New York Americans. They scored the most goals with 268 and allowed the fewest against with 110. For a team that went 28-38-6 while allowing 56 more goals against than they had scored just a year ago, that is quite an accomplishment and one that everyone on that roster can be proud of. 6. Where do you work? What do you do for work? And who made you that sick sig? I just noticed it, I'm usually at work on here and the images are blocked so this is my first time seeing it.
  7. Thanks for the review, @Phil, didn't realize you were a media grader lol The Cologne colors were pure coincidence. I think I'm locked up in QC for quite some time. I don't know if I'll ever eclipse 100 points, definitely a long shot.
  8. Review: Let's see the 1st overall pick streak extended into the TCBL and VHL! Good article. I don't know how you juggle all the leagues, I am in several myself and I'm getting burnt out but that doesn't stop me from joining the new ones... Didn't see any grammar or spelling problems so good on you there. Good luck in the draft! I'm sure you'll be a great player and you've always been an active guy in the locker rooms and on the board. Definitely a great member to add to any locker room.
  9. Review: I could have sworn I reviewed this already but apparently not. Nice article. I didn't see any grammar or spelling issues that I recall. I would almost guarantee you're wrong on every pick, but that's just the nature of the game. That's all I got. Keep up with the writing I guess.
  10. Review: Well done, @hedgehog337. I think I just graded your article in SBA, too. Didn't notice many grammar or spelling issues, if any. Nice little collection of thoughts here. Not sure what else to say about it really.
  11. Review: I was Brampton's GM for a short while. I told everyone to watch out for me in season 49 before being replaced. Glad to see my trades for draft picks finally paid off. Didn't notice any grammar issues or spelling problems. It was very well written. Nice job and keep it up, man! Best of luck in the rest of the playoffs and the draft.
  12. Review: Looked kinda short, threw it in wordcounter.net and lo and behold it's 470 words. That aside, nice article. Congrats on making the post season and advancing. Should be a good series between you and Cologne (I think that's who you play now) Like you said, team didn't have much going for it entering the season so you've definitely turned it around.
  13. Review: Good job with this article. Didn't notice any grammar or spelling issues. 523 words so you're all good there. Had appropriate images. Best of luck in this round of the playoffs. I think you've already exceeded everyone's expectations so you guys have nothing to lose.
  14. Review: Good job here. The first two paragraphs were hard for me to read, could have just been me though. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do in the future both with writing and on the ice. Keep up the good work, man. 564 words, images, everything checks out.
  15. @diamond_ace @ADwyer87 @TheLastOlympian07 Posted a link to a Google Drive that has screencaps of all the rosters. Sorry they're not well organized, i did it on my phone and I had to pick the images one by one. The green roster spots are the minor league players. Players don't earn points unless they're on your pro roster and they can be moved up and down whenever you want, so long as you have the roster spot available.

  17. Ah, wasn't sure. I'll post the rosters next week.
  18. Review: Great stuff here. Very nicely written. I didn't notice any grammar or spelling issues. Didn't seem drawn out or trite. Keep up the good work and best of luck in the draft. I look forward to competing against you in the future.
  19. Hey, everyone, I'm in a dynasty league that has an NHL roster as well as a minor/farm team roster. 20 teams, 30 players per NHL roster, 12 player minor league roster (I think). If anyone is interested, the teams available are the Barrie Colts, champions from last season, the London Knights, Oshawa Generals, Petersborough Petes, and Windsor Spitfires. http://www.fantrax.com/fantasy/league/yuc2aqzoinask11w/home <-link broken In a post below you'll see a link to a Google Drive that has screenshots of the rosters available. That link should take you to the league where you'll be able to see the team rosters. If you're interested, give me your email and the roster you'd like to take over and I'll get you an invite. It's a head-to-head most categories wins league. Teams will be given on a first come basis. Thanks. Update: Oshawa is taken.
  20. All this NHL action has me excited for my dynasty league draft coming up. Anyone want in? I can send a link, we need about 5 replacements.
