ha... the one time i tried running a league. went through a move to milwaukee shortly thereafter, left The Q (famous for his affinity for abacuses) in charge and everything went to poop while I waited for internet to be installed. running a league is hard work.

There was another football league that went defunct, went back to the board for shits and gigs during some time during a temp job where I was really doing nothing, and the rest is history.

I don't think we played too poorly. Coutinho had a couple of really good chances, Bournemouth keeper made an incredible save against Benteke just getting a finger on it. I thought our center backs and Gomez could have played a bit better despite clean sheet. Was a blatant foul on Bournemouth's goal, unless Lovren purposefully retracted his neck to miss the header. The Bournemouth player used Lovren as a launching pad, keeping the defender down and launching himself forward. The Benteke/Clyne signings look great. Excited to see how team looks when Sturridge gets back.

congrats stockholm. saw the result the other day, but had the anniversary with the wife so couldn't chime in. great team in sweden and boubabi did a great job of putting them together. very proud of the battlers on davos. we turned around the shot margins in the second half of the series, and had some great performances from sinclair to get us into position to take the series down. although we didn't get the result we wanted, we're still progressing in the right direction. next year is the year, friends.

Bilbao got away with sooooo much contact. Looked up the numbers though and I was shocked to see 74% possession by Barca. Bilbao never gave Messi an inch and we're just clipping his ankles at all time. Towing the line, but not crossing it I suppose. all 4 goals were given away by Barca... they played really really poorly. Ter Stergen was a goon. their back line needs serious work. fun stat: barca has given up as many goals in the past two matches as they did in their prior thirteen!
