I would try out Birdman. It's not boring, it's not super geeky. It's just plain good. If I steer you wrong you can tell me to fuck off and never listen to me again.

Birdman's not as weird as the trailer is. It's not some super hero silly movie. It's really a great story. Great dark comedy. The weird part about Birdman is the fact that it looks like it's shot in one continuous take. The editing is unbelievable. I highly recommend giving it a go. Grand Budapest I thought was much, much better than Royal Tenebaums. No weird brother-adopted sister relationship. It's a fairly light-hearted movie and Ralph Fiennes is great.

Whiplash was also outstanding. Miles Teller has a really bright future ahead of him... The Grand Budapest Hotel was also great. I thought Grand Budapest was better than Royal Tenebaums actually.

Only city there that I like is Portland. Great fan base for all of their sports. Milwaukee already has a minor league hockey team. No on Memphis. Nashville sucks and TN has no other room for hockey IMO. No on Colorado. Cleveland has Columbus. Las Vegas no gives a fuk.
