Davos acquires #2 overall
Small Swiss city becomes barren wasteland
DAVOS, SWITZERLAND -- In a rash move yesterday evening, HC Davos Dynamo ended up acquiring the second overall pick in exchange for just about everything. The Dynamo traded away goalie prospect Coca Cola, winger Mario De Rossi, the fifth and thirteenth overall picks in tonight's draft, as well as Davos' S43 first rounder.
"It seems like nobody else is here anymore," rookie Freedom McJustice stated, "We're all kind of scared."
In reality, Davos expects to select the top prospects in center Bismarck Koenig and goalie Callum Sinclair. With those selections, Davos has a full roster in sight. The anticipated roster appears below:
Forwards (6):
S40 Kurtis Hunter
S40 Griffin Simons
S41 Gifford Shock
S41 AIM-11
S42 Bismarck Koenig
S42 Freedom McJustice
Defense (3):
S40 Vladamir Komarov
S40 Joshua Rubin
S41 Jakub Ackerman
Goalie (1):
S42 Callum Sinclair
Prospects (1):
S41 Kyle Kingma
As you can see, the roster looks to be well-set. If the Dynamo are able to acquire another forward, it is anticipated one of the forwards (purportedly Freedom McJustice) would make the switch to defense to round out the lines.
Either way, Davos is set for the future and acquired a franchise goalie with last night's trade.
