I don't see the big deal in having small-town teams; this is literally a roleplaying sports fantasy game we are playing, it's not like we are a bunch of real-life executives deciding where to put our teams (not that anybody said that but still). Smaller-town teams would never happen in the real life big leagues (in North America at least, I know Europe has some smaller-town teams for soccer/hockey/etc.), but they can happen here since this website is a fantasy league. I'm not explicitly saying to bring Västerås back (but I definitely would be on board if they did), but I am saying that being a lesser-known location shouldn't be a huge factor in determining where our teams are. Personally, I like the idea of playing for a small-town underdog team going up against the big-city team, such as New York or Toronto. Also, maybe make a public league-wide poll just to see how many people would actually be on board with bringing the team back?

We do. It's called a Continental Cup.

The Award is based on management moves made during the offseason and season to better improve the team. There are no transactions during the playoffs. Hence, a reason why the post-season isn't factored into the award.

As much as I don't want to leave the VHLM hanging with only one commish in the offseason, I need to fully devote my time to my schooling at the moment, and I don't want to just be a dead weight on the league. I just don't have the time/energy to fully devote myself to the league for the next few months, but I wish I did.

Due to @Megster's disappearance, @Fire Hakstol has been named the new GM for the Oslo Storm. He took over midway through this season, but I forgot to make the announcement official. We are still taking applications for Yukon and Las Vegas though, so please send either myself or @Frank a PM if you're interested, stating why you would like the job, why you're interested, etc.

Those sounds like good ideas at first, but we shouldn't be looking for things that could just be copy/paste from a GM/member telling a new member the answer. We should be looking for something that would give a unique answer/experience to each member.

We could look into adding a seasonal PT, or another task akin to Bios/Rookie Profiles for newer members, but adding too many of these little tiny PTs (like the GM PT) might just get too confusing. We're all for making the VHL[M] a more exciting place for new members, but sometimes just adding more opportunities to earn TPE doesn't make as big of a difference as we would like. These suggestions should be looked into though, at the very least.
