Istanbul Red Wolves Press Conference

1. We need to play better defensively. Us forwards could help out a ton in that regard 3. Once in junior I wa traded but it was very early on so it was for draft picks in a future bantam draft 4. I usually go out to the team bench and tape my stick. Then I play 5 games of X's and O's with the goalie. It helps me get mentally focused. 5. Usually yes. I put my right skate on before my left and repeat that for all other equipment. 7. Pineapple. Unpopular opinion but it is great on any pizza 8. Dream vacation is the Maldives and I have yet to go because I'm not made of money -
Review: Okay so to change the jersey colour it looks like a straight up paint tool was used to colour over the jersey; in theory this can work. However, try playing with your effects layers like Hue/Saturation or Color Balance to make it more of a natural colour change. Jersey changes can be tricky, but a little bit of playing around in the bottom right of your photoshop screen can benefit you greatly. Regarding the text, it was a good attempt adding in some stroke. Try putting the text all in one area so that our eyes don't have to shift so much too everywhere.

Review: Okay so you added a logo to the Washington practice jersey. It's a good start but I'd love to see you work with some dimensions instead of the stock photo size. The reason being is that if you were to use this as a sig its too big, but if you used it as a wallpaper it would be too small. if you use say a 420 x 180-200 size canvas you may have a better perspective. It would also allow you to cut off areas where nothing was done; especially in this case with just a logo. Try putting some effects and text into it next

Moscow Menace Press Conference

1. Watching some NHL games, watching MLB now and excited to watch the NFL Draft in a couple weeks time 2. Mostly my skating now. I feel like my shot is pretty good at this stage 3. I've been skating all off-season so being back on the ice is just normal life. Feels good being at the rink anytime! 4. I feel like we have a good shot at the playoffs and as long as we continue to improve, I see that being the reality. 5. Second line centre or primary scorer if need be. We have a good roster this year! 6. I expect a point per game to build off of last year -
Calen McKay Centerman - 6'4 - 203 lbs Canadian Calen McKay has been a bit of a reclamation project. In his first short stint in the VHLM with Las Vegas he struggled to get anything going, but he was just getting his feet wet. The trouble with youngsters is some of them take longer to become accustomed to the style, speed and strength of other VHLM players. McKay drastically improved in his full official full season in the VHLM with the Mexico City squad down below the wall. McKay turned in a season that made scouts very proud. His overall vision for the ice improved and he was able to play with more confidence and allow for the space to come to him. At times McKay was out there doing veteran moves and feeling like the player that he was so sought after before coming to the VHLM. Mexico City saw a big increase in production when McKay started factoring into the score sheet on the second line. His strength and power could really be seen and he started to find his teammates at a higher frequency. Some pros to this new found confidence were his goal scoring ability. McKay notched a total of 36 goals last year; with 8 of them coming on the power play unit. Pretty good for a second line centre who is committed to face-offs and shutting down opposing players. His defensive game improved as well as he almost averaged a hit per game. Although, he had an increase in his physicality; scouts were hoping he would explode in that area given his large frame. Things McKay needs to continue working on are obviously his physicality but also his ability to look up and find the outlet pass. Many breakaways were missed because McKay had his head down and wasn't ready to make that headman pass. I'm sure in the VHLE, McKay will have a chance to grow a lot and factor into the scoresheet in more ways than just scoring, but scouts did want to see a stronger defensive game from Calen. One of the biggest things going forward for this young prospect is to tap into that confidence and make sure he knows his worth. At times he under estimates himself and it gets in his own head. We would like to see a more complete game from the outset start of the season and hopefully that comes with more challenging opponents now that Calen is making the jump into the VHLE. Toronto got themselves a pretty good player in the middle of the draft, so we will see what he has in store from here on out.

Review: I do love the coordination of the colours with the jersey change. I would say next step is putting some time into the text work. Try experimenting with different fonts, playing with the effects and try doing backing text to your top layered text. One thing I can tell is you have a good grasp of the effects on layers and your lighting seems to be pretty good. You are well on your way to creating a lot of quality graphics!

Review: Love your stuff and this is no different. I love the effect you used on the helmet, which is harder because of those shiny domes they have down in LA. I can see a grain effect on the secondary background text and a clean jersey change here. Really like how simple and clean this sig is and I think a collection of these would be a huge popular choice for many on the site. Great stuff here ol dog!

1. I would say just grow along with the prospects in the system already. Become acquainted with the fellow prospects and grow together is the best thing, because it builds on-ice chemistry. 2. I think Toronto is actually a step above many of the Logos in the league. Its the one team that could probably keep the money 3. The Cologne Express...But hey I don't want to open that can of words 4. I'm really into a series on Netflix called Unbelievable, its about a rape victim who wasn't believed (kind of gives you a bit of info regarding statements of abused) 5. I'm hooping to sort out what exactly I need to do to produce in the hybrid area and see if anything needs to be tweaked. 6. I'm a Rockies fan so I was excited to see Kris Bryant, but I didn't not expect the start we've had as a team.

Hey I made it!...sort of

Hey as someone who is usually not okay with changes, I like that you guys/girls were brainstorming and running tests. Excited to see what this means going forward for each player!

Yeah I tried to do a JC, but the Vikings logo file is corrupt on the site

Man it would help if I read. Thanks!

I hadn't seen this before I posted my graphic yesterday. Should I claim this for next week? @Beketov

1. I'm impressed with my players performance as I didn't think I would ever lead this team in points at any point in the season. 2. I actually already did a Graphic so I have to wait until next week 3. The Cold German, I mean if you know you know. 4. I sure hope so! It would be quite the feat to all do that in the same season. 5. My face-offs. I want to be able to control the play and that starts with the dropping of the puck. 6. Its getting warmer but the air is still very cold and so we have about 2-3 hours of warmth before the cold sets in

Review: Okay I'll give it to you straight, if these reviews actually gave you scores, this one wouldn't be high. I'm not trying to burst your bubble or anything, just giving it to you straight. Inverting three boxes in your program to create a different colour is a 10 second job. I'd love to see some more effort in regards to text work or heck even matching the logo colour and the yellow shade on the bruins. I think overall I'm not disappointed, just know that if you have hue/brightness and other layer effects down pat, you can try different things. If you need help then reach out because we'd love to give you pointers. Don't stop though, keep trying your hand at different things. I will always encourage anyone to fiddle around for 20 minutes on what each thing does.

1. I think some more depth on our blue lines. Might as well load up for a run! 2. Yes I did and I got both right for this week already, its so fun! 3. I would make the Regina Corntoppers and they would have a logo of a scarecrow with a sharpened piece of corn as a weapon 4. Nope! The locals are very nice and everyone has warmed up to the fact there is a hockey team down here 5. If I could, 20. But realistically 8 seasons (I think that's the most) 6. Yes all the time. I have to remind myself that I am a firework though! 7. No on the Pro Bowl (its so lame now)

1. It was good, because where I'm from its snowing and I was freezing my ass off 2. No I think I got the gist of what I'm supposed to do to maximize what I need 3. It's 12 I think. Its different from uncapped because it creates parity 4. I love watching downhill skiing of any kind. Its so thrilling! 5. I plan on building a certain build so I have a few spots ready when I am updating my player. Scorer baby! 6. Its nice until I hear barking dogs in the streets down here in Mexico City. So many strays!

Well everyone Calen McKay has arrived down in Mexico City to play in the VHLM and the one thing he lacks is a cup, but he does have two BBQ grills which is perfect to invite his new teammates over for a good ol fashioned BBQ. Truth is I just wanted to use that title for this VHL Article and that's why I wrote it. That being said if someone does show up at this VHL BBQ please bring some red solo cups as we have tons of drinks but people are getting bottle service; literally they are being serviced directly from the bottle. McKay doesn't get paid a lot to play in the minors so he didn't have leftover money to spend on cups or even bowls to drink from. I'm sure someone on this forum or league has access to a Costco gold card or even could stop by a Walgreens on their way to the residence. McCay is hoping one day he can drink from a real VHL related cup but again, at this rate he won't be hydrated enough to get to that stage. By the way, does anyone know where to find blow up dolls shipped like Phil Kessel? One of the girls here (Amanda or something) has a fixing for some Kessel and I told her she could go visit him if she just went through the border to Arizona. What the hell has this VHL Fan Article turned into by the way?

Review: 12 years too long to be honest, you're graphics are as good as they always were; which is really good. Personally feel the blending and patterns that are blurred in the back are ungodly. Great work! I love the render choice as its an angle we don't traditionally see in signatures from what I've seen. Text work reminds me of a thriller movie trailer trying to sell me on the fact it's coming to theatres May 13th or something. Great vibe and the definition in Ehlers face without it being over saturated/grainy is perfect. Overall, would love for you to at least post a graphic once ever year or even 2 years, instead of every 12 years.
