  1. This was a very interesting read, even with the rosters being out of date. TPE wise, yes Vegas had a better team. TPA wise it was a lot closer. Especially if you go into the index and look at each teams depth chart and overall ratings. It could even be said Ottawa was deeper in goal and on defence by that account. In the end it's a computer deciding everything and with how advanced and smart they've become, we should all just be thankful they haven't enslaved the entire human race already

    1) We posted the VHLM Achievement Tracker for this season up for S63 draftees or players who've already been drafted to claim up to 20 TPE:

    a) (If you're eligible to claim) How much TPE are you set to earn this season and are you happy with your total?

I'm going to be getting 16 tpe. I'm pretty happy with that. I would have been hard pressed to get the full 20, as an undrafted free agent I cant be too upset

    1. Playing for Ottawa what are you expecting from probably the most exciting series for this round?

    2. Are there any players you have really enjoyed being teammates with?

    3. Coaches are a very important role on any team, are the coaches in Ottawa more active then any other coach you have dealt with or how are they ranked?

    4. Who on another team do you respect the most?

    5. Who on your team do you respect the most?

I did this before the playoffs started just hadn't posted it yet.

    1. I'd expect it to definitely be the best and closest series in the playoffs. I'd be betting on 7 games and probably never more than a two goal split in every game. Offense vs defense, I can't wait!

    2. I've been lucky to have a lot of fun active teammates, but I think @McWolfmay be my favourite. We share a special bond in liking boobs and posting pictures of boobs. I definitely warms the heart.

    3. There's a couple coaches in the VHLM that are pretty active, which is awesome for keeping new players interested. Our coach in Ottawa has been pretty active and helpful with learning the ropes to improving all of our players. And I think that's what's helped us have such a good season.

    4. I think it would be @ColeMrtz21 he's does a real good job editing the VHLM magazine. Although his player does have plenty of time on his hands only playing half of his teams games

    5. Definitely @Enorama the way he's putting up tpe this year, I'm pretty sure all he does is look for ways to gain them. It's truly awe-inspiring

  4. The Ottawa Lynx finished the regular season off with an outstanding 49-18-5 record, good enough for third place in the VHLM. They will face the Las Vegas Aces in the league semifinals.

The Lynx were led offensively just about wire to wire by star defenceman Lando Baxter. He finished the year with 21 goals, 66 assists and 87 points. Dan Wilinsky had a strong second half of the season and ended up with 40 goals and 84 points. Roctrion King (39) and Chace Trepanier (34) were the only other players with 20+ goals. Kallis Kriketers was rock solid in net only sitting out 4 games and had a 46-18-4 record with a scintillating. 897 save percentage and 2.08 goals against average.

The matchup with the Aces should be a tightly contested series. The Lynx had 7-5-2 record against the Aces, outscoring them 37-32.

The series features a high powered offense against a stingy defense and could come down to who makes fewer mistakes and stays out of the penalty box. Most experts have the series going 7 games and very little wiggle room.

Well check in on the Lynx again next week and set the stage for the Founders Cup Championship

If I am not in consideration for the Oslo AGM job I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring for the new franchise. I love managing and setting lines and finding the best team possible.

I've been a successful gm in metrohockey. Just started a rebuild there. Also have managed teams on madden and NHL, and all that

  7. Ottawa Lynx 48-18-5

The regular season comes to its conclusion tonight as the Ottawa Lynx travel to Saskatoon to take on the Wild.

Its been a thrilling ride so far for the club, they've mostly held steady in third place in the VHLM. Halifax and Las Vegas hold 9 and 4 points leads respectively. They both play Yukon to wrap up their campaigns. GM Diamond_Ace says he's been happy with how the season has progressed and while he had hoped to finish first in the division, he feels confident about the teams chances in the playoffs.

The last week has seen some major upheaval in terms of packing order in team scoring. The second highest scoring team in the league is now led by 40 goal man Dan Wilinsky who has had a fire lit under him since being moved to centre on the second line. Roctrion King has provided steady offense all season with 39 goals. Another rookie Chace Trepanier has passed the 30 goal mark with 33. Lando Baxter was far and away the leading point getter on the back end with 21 goals 66 assists and 87 points. He led the way in both assists and points.

Two of the top prospects for the upcoming VHL draft Joseph McWolf and Ryan Kastelic provided stellar defense together and look to be solid picks to whoever chooses them.

In goal Kallis Kriketers has been resting for the playoffs. He finished the year with 45 wins, an .896 save percentage and a 2.10 goals against average. Rookie Milan Baros has played each of the last four games and is slated as the starter again tonight. He has 3 wins and a shootout loss.

The Lynx seem ready to rumble in the league playoffs, they are healthy, motivated and look confident in their group. They'll start off on the road but they've managed to assemble a 21-11-3 record away from home. They will be ready to go in any way. Go Lynx.
