  1. Well see how many people do this.

    1. Were almost half finished the VHLM season, how do you feel the Aces have done so far?

    2. The Aces just picked up winger Shawn Mendes in a trade. Does this move make the Aces a serious contender going forward?

    3. How do you feel your draft stock has improved or gotten worse through this season? If you've been drafted into the VHL already, how do you feel you're setting up to play in the VHL next season?

    4. What VHL player do you idolize most?

    5. How do you like living and playing hockey in a desert?

  2. Team World wrapped up selection camp for the World Junior Hockey Championship this morning, naming its 15 man roster. Along with the roster, the team named its leadership group for the tournament.

Las Vegas Aces captain Jorgon Weyed will captain the group. He is one of the most experienced players on the team, and will be counted on to lead a very young forward group. The Jamaican is a offensive dynamo and a top prospect for the Quebec City Meute

Mountain Thunderfist, rookie defenseman for the Seattle Bears, will serve as alternate captain this year. The hulking defender is racking up the hits and blocked shots this year, and will be expected to do the same for the underdog squad.

Piotr Jerwa will be the other alternate captain. The offensive defenseman is averaging over a point per game with the Saskatoon Wild. He is considered a top prospect for the S64 draft.

  4. I'd be open to seeing it tested out. At this point I'm against it though. For my own circumstance, and I'm assuming most are similar, I work full time and have a family life as well. Most people dont max their tpe as it is, would they find new interest with a second player? Also if I'm a new or fringe player I dont really want to see myself on a 4th line fighting for ice time with the 2nd player of someone already pumping out tpe like a madman.

    Personally I'd get burnt out.

If enough people want to go ahead with it I wouldnt stop it, but I think it should work kinda like the 2nd player in the EFL.

Or having a 4 year spread, or having it so one guy has to be in the VHLM until the other retires.

    Not that I matter lol

  5. 1. Thoughts on the start of your VHL career so far?

    2. Can the Americans turn their season around?

    3. Will this years WJC be more exciting than last years?

    4. You've had quite the handful of assists to start this year. Any guess on your final point total?

    5. Do you miss playing with Ryan Kastelic, or is it nice to go your own way and be the face of your own team?

  6. New York Americans winger Dan Wilinsky was arrested in a Seattle nightclub late last week after an altercation with a hipster claiming to be a Bears fan.

According to police reports and statements from witnesses, the hipster was celebrating the latest Bears victory over the Americans and started singing the Bears fight song in front of Wilinsky, who reportedly started twitching and slammed a table down on the hipsters head, breaking his glasses and spilling his Starbucks on his plaid shirt.

After he was booked in at the station, Wilinsky was released after being diagnosed with mild PTSD from facing the Seattle Bears a ridiculous 11 times in New York's first 13 games. Chief Poleese of the Seatlle Police Department said it was understandable that Wilinsky felt that way after that many games against one team.

Wilinsky rejoined his team for their flight back to New York, and while the hipster is still in hospital, the VHL said he wouldn't suffer any further punishment, as Dan had already been through enough.

The Americans had a porous 2-9 record against the Bears. They won't face each other again this season, giving Wilinsky plenty of time to recover and attempt to salvage the Americans season.
