Hello fellow sim leaguers, today I'd like to announce the second number to be retired by the London United.
This player spent their entire career with the United. Despite not accumulating many awards, they accumulated the respect of the team and their supporters. Through 8 seasons this player demonstrated great loyalty and finished second in franchise points, goals, and assists. Let me tell you something: the Delhi Pickles are the best team name there is. Other teams use name like Woves and Legion, but you? You are brave enough to use the humble pickle as a mascot for the team, and I think that is really awesome. Just think of all the great things that the pickle has done for us in terms of food:
1. Great condiments to use with burgers and chicken sandwiches
2. Great snack to use in general when you are feeling hungry and need to get something to eat very quickly
3. Awesome food to deep fry
4. They can stay preserved for up to two years past thier expiration date if you don't open the jar according to Google
And I did not even mention how great of a pun the Delhi Pickles name is. We need more puns in team names. Also Delhi is in India so you can get amazing food in there. My player Logan Foley loves eating pickles, so the team is a great fit for him as well. Yeah this might have been a spur of the moment meme article I thought of when I needed a quick writing idea, but I do hope you enjoyed it for what it is.
Also, the irony is that I only like fried pickles.
FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY

Hilarious that people think I was sneaking into locker rooms like a spy or something
I asked for Ricer to delete the answers he had saved in his LR, he responded with NO… so I asked for someone in the LR to send a screenshot to see the extent of how many there was to see if it was even worth pursuing…

Hello!
Starting this off-season, the First Generation TPA reroll will be free to purchase. This means that first generation players can purchase the reroll for free prior to the completion of their VHL rookie season.
The reroll can now be seen as a purchase option under the regular TPA reroll in the player store, instead of a separate item.

When I first came back to the VHL, Lavelle was a late first round/early 2nd round projection based on when I came in and the TPE I had at the time. I had of course been reached out to by a fair share of GM’s, but Eno was the only one who had reached out to me multiple times. This includes right before I was selected at 7th overall, he confirmed I wanted to play in DC, which of course I said I was delighted. Naturally, I did some research on my GM. How long he’s been with the team, how successful the team has been etc. I was shocked to find DC had never hit 100 points in a season, 14 seasons in at this point. DC’s best season came in S80 with 91 points. Looking at this now, I am genuinely shocked. Eno has made nothing but smart, thought out moves every season which made me excited to be apart of the organization. This leads me to believe the “mid” Dragons were under great management but have not had the grace of that Simon look. Here I am going to breakdown all Eno’s noteworthy moves since I joined the Dragons in S82.
S82: Drafts Bubbles Utonium and Ronan Lavelle
The Dragons entered the S82 season needing essentially everything. They held the 2nd and 7th overall pick in a very talented and top heavy S82 draft class. The Dragons decided to select franchise goaltender Bubbles Utonium, establishing the backbone of the team. At 7th overall GM Eno Rama decided to roll the dice and select forward Ronan Lavelle. A lot of potential, but also a high risk move to select Lavelle as their franchise forward. Utonium and Lavelle are entering their 3rd season with the Dragons and so far Eno is looking great for both moves. Utonium is coming off an 11 shutout season, where she found herself as the second best goaltender overall in the league. Lavelle is coming off a 98 point season and is amongst the league leaders again in S85.
S83: Draft Baxter Arcanum, Sign Tui Sova; Trade for Poopy Peepants, Corey Kitson and Taylor Mourning
The S83 off-season would be a big one. The Dragons knew Bubbles Utonium and Ronan Lavelle would be making their rookie debuts, and Ryan Vidot made the change from defense to forward. But what caused the position change was a slew of moves in every aspect for the Dragons. Rama would go on to draft defenseman Baxter Arcanum 8th overall. Arcanum despite an absence from development in S84, has come back strong as ever and continues to be a big presence in the DC core. They also managed to land the big fish on the free agent market and lock up Tui Sova. Sova is coming off a 106 point, 77 assist season where he was arguably the best defenseman in the league, and certainly one of the best playmakers in the VHL. Sova is hoping to capture a championship with the Dragons before he retires. This is probably the best move Eno has made thus far. DC wasn’t done there. They also made a trade for defenseman Poopy Peepants and forward Taylor Mourning from Malmo in exchange for a pair of 1sts and 3rds. Peepants and Mourning played a big part of the Dragons success during the past two seasons. Although the Dragons lost both to New York in free agency, both were solid contributors during their time in DC and Eno was able to find more than suitable replacements. With Vancouver finally rebuilding after 3 straight cups, the Dragons decided to acquire a 3 time champion in defenseman Corey Kitson. Kitson has come across as in my opinion, one of the most underrated defensemen in the whole league. Kitson is always good for at least 60 points and hits or flirts with 20 goals from the blue line. Kitson continues to be a big part of DC’s defensive core in S85.
S84: Acquire Duncan Idaho from MoscowEntering S84 the Dragons were just one elite forward away from making a serious run. Not only did Eno Rama go out and get one, but he got the best. DC traded for Duncan Idaho in his final season, and a 3rd rounder in exchange for two S84 2nd’s, Brian Schmigel and a 4th. The move paid off for DC as they finished with over 100 points for the first time, finishing with 106 and winning the North American Conference. Idaho posted up his 3rd best season, and led the way with another 100+ point season. The Dragons certainly got vintage Idaho, they still however could not get by the defending champion Bears in the playoffs.
S85: Sign Nezuko, Milan Dvorak, Trade for Darth Kaprizov
Losing Duncan Idaho to retirement, Taylor Mourning and Poopy Peepants to free agency, the Dragons had a lot of questions to address. Eno had no problem rising to the occasion to immediately begin patching these holes, and finding success. Eno started off free agency by replacing Taylor Mourning/Duncan Idaho with Titans forward Nezuko. Nezuko made his presence immediately known, as he has been on and off leading the league in points and goals so far with the Dragons. The Dragons also replaced Peepants with defenseman Milan Dvorak, who has been a solid presence for the Dragons recording 27 points (25 points) on the season thus far. Eno knew he had to sweeten up the forward core so he made the trade for Darth Kaprizov, who is not far off a 100 point season. Kaprizov has found immediate success with fellow new Dragon Nezuko. The Dragons find themselves in a spot to be the best team in the VHL record wise, which is a tribute to the moves Eno has made to keep DC as a top contending team. Every move he has made since I’ve been apart of the team has been rock solid. I tip my hat off to this recipe for success, and hoping for its continuation!
