So at the beginning of this week, I was going to put up a roast thread, as per the usual routine in here. Long story short, I was busy when I thought about it, and didn't think about it when I wasn't. So, basically, I didn't, and wasn't planning on it after it got late enough. But then, our favorite self-proclaimed S+ Tier Clown @Matt_O hit me with his weekly whining request to be in the next roast thread. Yes, he's asked me, to the best of my estimation, every single week since we started. This week, he resorted to telling me that today--or tomorrow, depending on your time zone, and what the hell, it's still the 11th in EST but we're 12 minutes from midnight--September 12th in any event, is his birthday, as well as that of @HulkHogan. I have no way of verifying this, but please take them both down for me so they'll finally shut up. We came out of the draft with a wonderful class of actives, and we're set up for success this season--especially if we're able to sign some active players and build up the team even more early on as the regular season approaches. Hi there @ks5th and welcome to the league! I'm GustavMattias, GM of the Mississauga Hounds, and I'm here to offer you a spot on my team as we prepare for success this season. We came out of the draft with a great, balanced set of players--a couple high-TPE vets and a couple of crazy active new guys, too. Though I see the team doing wonderfully this season, I'm here to offer you a spot on our second defensive pairing, and I hope you'll take me up on it! We've got one offensive guy and one defensive guy so far, so no matter which type of build you go for, we'll be able to factor you into either our power play or our penalty kill as well. We've got quite the active locker room on Discord, and, though I know we're not an American team, I myself am American and can get to Mississauga in just a couple hours, so I think we can call it close enough.
