The VHLM Season is nearly halfway over. The Ottawa Lynx just completed their thirty-third game and to no surprise another win. The Lynx has been incredible this season, with only four losses in regulation. The team has mostly been successful due to good goaltending by Joakim Bruden and forwards Adam Syreck, Richard Penisson, & Big Chungus. Those three are putting up over 2 points per game on average.
I want to talk about the team's leading defenseman for a second. DeFenz Mann? That is correct, the man who had never played a formal game of hockey before. Mann was selected 24th in the VHLM draft in the third round. They say scouting isn't an exact science, and this here is the proof. Mann is 8th in assists league-wide, 4th in total points among defenseman, and fourth in +/-. Look out VHL because Mann is coming, and he is almost there.
