http://www.vhlforum.com/index.php?/topic/11699-season-40-entry-draft-rankingsthe-numbers-s37s38s39s40/ The reality of how great this draft is and also sorry first mock coming next week instead.
-
Let me apologize in advance since this was originally going to be the initial mock draft for Season 40. I then remembered in the past I had been comparing draft classes at the trade deadline as well as projecting their final totals come draft day. Now we have enough data to go back and see Season 37 thru to Season 40. This will give us proof behind a doubt if the Season 40 Draft Class is not only one of the best classes in recent memory but potentially of all time. Before we get into the specifics we did have nearly twenty draftees show up to practice again. That number is likely higher as some reporting lags behind and we don’t see the results on their official player roster page till weeks later. Also quickly the initial mock draft will be held next week most likely as part one being the first round with a second round mock part two the week after. Warning there will be numbers in this edition of the draft rankings. How Good Is the Season 40 Draft Class? This Draft Class if indescribably amazing that’s how good it is. Currently the draft sits at around 3250 practice hours. There is several weeks left to improve before the season ends and then the post-season begins. Many of these players will see a tremendous gain in pre-draft activities (achievement tracker). That is where my conservative estimate of 3800 practice hours by draft day comes from. If we see improvements like we have in the past with over thirty players putting in work the sky is the limit. In that case we could even see more than 4000 practice hours but our estimates take into account 15-18 players and not 25-30 for the remaining of the season. The Season 18 Draft Class is often one that is looked back on as one of the if not the best draft of all time. To help put into perspective how great this draft is we’ve already seen a gain of 15% in terms of practice hours. Again we still have weeks to go and this draft looks to be about 35-40% more talented in terms of talent and sheer number of draftees compared to the Season 18 Draft. That draft got us well known players such as Daisuke Kanou, Anton Brekker, Oliver Scarlett, Tarik Saeijs, and Aidan Shaw to name just a handful. Many around the league who are part of the newer generation or are younger players might not know much about that Season. To help put this into another perspective we can look to the past three drafts Season 37, Season 38, and Season 39 all of which were seen as good to great. Remember that these drafts are a pale comparison to what Season 40 has to offer. Season 37 brought in current VHL superstars Slaeter Fjorsstrom, Tom Slaughter, Logan Laich (lolz), Kimmo Salo, and Travis Boychuk to name a handful there. Season 38 has given us the emergence of Vojczek Svoboda, Bruno Wolf, Don Draper, Dimothenis Vlasis, and Brock Waldron as just a taste of what was there. Season 39 we are just seeing players like James Faraday, Koji Yamazaki, and Tyson Stokes emerge as the next generation of superstars. All of these players and potential VHL Hall of Famers are going to be swallowed up by an endless wave of Season 40 talent.

I got into Archage last weekend from the makers of Rift and Defiance the game. Its a Korean made MMO that is supposed to be really open you build your own house, farm, and even castle. Some areas are protected others arent I signed up because it interested me but after a little bit I probably won't play this game. As far as what you said I dont even know what that is I just wanted to share recent beta success.

My YouTube channel got its 7th subscriber today, over 500 total views, and I've made $0.31 cents in ad revenue so far I'm pretty much a millionaire.

Lol Jardy that is really your brother I bet you could get that footage onto all the late night shows and stuff if you sent it in around the time next season gets put on TV. They interview cast members and george martin and show reaction videos and stuff on like Conan/Jimmy Fallon.

I wish if it was legal in NY i'd be the first one signed up to start that business. Maybe one day I'll move out to the small areas of Nevada where its legal. Prostitution is the worlds oldest profession and it goes against nature to make it illegal.

So I walk into the Trades forum today and I'm all like

I tried to be real serious and me which I usually am not on the VHL Also if I had to give any sort of relationship advice the new average age of marriage for men is like 29 and women is like 27. Of all new marriages each year 50% end in divorce (not 50% of all new marriages are divorce it means if there was 1 million new marriages this year 500k new divorces are expected). People who get married before 21 have like a 90% divorce rate. The older you are essentially results in a higher success rate as life has taught you the important lessons. Pretty sure I read somewhere that the brain doesn't fully mature till 25 years of age (everyone is different of course). Society creates this pressure that you have to be in a relationship or get married and have kids. The age that these things are happening at is rising and the number of people that do neither is also on the rise.

I feel you have a growing dislike for me though the feeling from me isn't mutual I have no problem with you. I'am definitely a gamer and openly seek to play various games with fellow VHLers. We've played League on Skype before but you don't seem to really want to play with me when I see you on and that's fine. I do find it hard to accept internet stuffs as truths but I believe in what you've said and do hope it was sincere. I have a lot of similarities with your original message except I'm now years further along the road but the context reminds me a lot of my post college situation. May 2008 graduated degree Computer Science with federal and state student loans July 2008 took a retail job at OfficeMax at $8.50/hour and have never really used my degree June 2009 I worked really hard for 11 months and was promoted giving me $9.35/hour At this point I realized I didn't want to work this hard for a corporation that probably didn't care about me or even know I existed. How I proceeded after this was one of the driving forces of me stepping down from Toronto GM spot and leaving the league around Season 12. So I thought really hard and this is probably the best advice I can give to you or anyone else here. What do you really want to do? Now that sounds a lot like the high school / college adviser/counselor talk. Except I'm willing to take it to a more true sense. If you like to cook that doesn't mean you'd make a good chef and enjoy cooking for 100's of people in a fact paced environment. Maybe you like to cook but you just aren't good at it. For me it was more of the lottery winner thought I want to do what I want when I want. If it means sleep all day, eat breakfast for dinner, or play video games all day that is what I was going to do. Anything in life worth having isn't easy I made sacrifices along the way you talk about not having a vehicle and wanting one I waited till Spring 2012 before having my first car (and even then it wasn't a good one). I rode my bike to and from work for 3+ years even during the winters of Western NY. I decided buying a house was way more useful and important toward long term success than a car. A rental property can make you money while a car unless its taking you to a high paying job far away costs you money. October 2010 I bought my first house a 3 apartment rental nearly 18 months before owning my first car at just $9.35/hr I saved up enough money to buy a house in just over a year. October 2011 I left OfficeMax and turned down a salaried management position because in 3 short years I worked hard enough and sacrificed enough to set myself up for the future. I started my own business and in 2 months I'll have been doing what I want going on 3 years. This also brought me back into the league when my free time jumped considerably. 1) Take care of yourself 2) Take care of your family 3) Take care of your friends Do what you want in life as long as it is legal and not negatively effecting others. Realize that in order to do what you want you must put forth the effort now to get the rewards later.

If I remember correctly they leave it on the cliffhanger that Podrick might or might not be dead and Brienne almost died but shes basically being sent to make sure Jamie dies. It could be that the ending result of this arc doesn't really matter with Lady Stoneheart. Maybe Thoros of Myr or Sir Beric capture Brienne and Podric to do that scene. My guess is she meets up with Jamie eventually in the books regardless if they make it Dorne for the show to easier understand thats fine. What I did find interesting was the TV show tried to make it seem like Jamie and Brienne were kind of intimate like that scene with Cersei and Brienne at the wedding maybe they get closer in the future they don't really want Jamie in the King's Guard anymore anyway.

Just pre-ordered standard version of Madden 15 on PS4. Anyone else getting it other than the possible fake yes by Munk?
