  1. One of my more disliked presidents, but let’s be honest Washington would go college to NHL
  2. Trade us all your good forwards for cheap?
  3. Bo Burrows Junior Review Up to this point in time Bo had never played with his brother Alex, and the plan was for them to be an offense-defense duo ever since Bo decided he wanted to go pro so when he had the decision to choose the team he’d join you’d think he’d go with Minnesota Incorrect, but anyways about his career leading up to this point Bo is playing for the Houston Bulls, but what happened before that, and simply to understand we'll have to take a take a look. In his final season of Midget AAA in 90 games Bo had 73 points for 14 goals and 59 assists, which was his highest ever by a mile, which showed that chances of him being an offensive-defensemen where maybe possible, but on much lower terms, and of course he had the decision to go pro or go home as they say so what did he do? Bo eventually ended up on his brother's former team the Shawinigan Cataractes where in 64 games he had 28 points for 8 goals and 20 assists. He was still renowned for his defensive play which is what would heavily carry his career moving forward, he didn’t have much of a run with the team though he was a consistent top 4 defensemen for them. So Burrows was still confronted with a decision, and as a young guy from Montreal he genuinely loved hockey, and thought it was obvious to everyone, but it wasn’t that way so when asked during a press conference what he wanted to do with his career, in his thick French-Canadian accent he replied "I want Hockey", and it was hockey that also wanted him. So when deciding the league he wanted to head out to, he had thought between NHL, KHL, and SHL and occasionally Liiga and the DEL. So when his brother walked in his room, and told him about the underrated VHL ,and that his brother was looking to join it seemed to only be destiny for Bo. So he looked into it, and he waited and waited until the VHL draft, and as his brother was called on stage he thought "Will they even sign me to a deal". If only he knew. So the VHL draft was concluded, and Bo had declared for VHLM waivers, and boy oh boy he got offers, his main interests where the Bulls and the Storm, and anyone looking in from the outside would think the Storm, and play with your brother, but Bo had other plans. He saw that Houston had something he liked, a life-long friend in Hugh Jass and former pairing with his agency, and he struggled between the two, and didn’t want to give it too much thought on the subject, so he reluctantly kickstarted his career with the Bulls, and from their his VHL career was born. Upon signing with the Bulls, Burrows had just a few words to say when asked why? "O, Bo knows." Then with laughter he was on to go play.
  4. Strengths: Defense: Burrows is definitely defensively heavy opposed to offense as on the offensive side he has only really shown sides of passing. Nevertheless, Burrows is a shut down-defender, which is why Houston is top 4 in GAs, and why when on the ice he can be a goalie and an offensive-defensemen's best friend. He can hold his own end doing whatever it takes to make sure the other team doesn’t have the puck, and one of his teammates do instead. This will most likely be the way for his entire career unless he chooses to change up his game later on in the pros. Strength: Burrows has a lot of strength, and in order to be a shut-down defender you’ll need the strength to hold your end and handle defensive ice-time. Burrows does that job near perfectly with his worth-ethic of a bull. He also uses his strength in many other ways that we will eventually get to talking about. Burrows also just happens to be a hand-in-hand player, and you’ll see it in all of his work. Back to strength though, if Burrows wasn’t a strong player he probably wouldn’t be a player at all considering his game is mainly defensive, and his strength just overall happens to be a reason why the Houston Bulls decided to sign him for the year. Body Checking: Burrows is definitely a guy who can handle the body in both ways. As you can see at this point in time he is in the top ten in hits. It all points back to the hand-in-hand thing, every strength happens to compliment each other especially with checking and strength and back to the checking skill he’s obviously strong as we previously covered that, but it’s obviously an awareness skill, and while he’s a good checker he’s also somewhat disciplined enough as he is nowhere near the top 5 where you can see much more big hitters, and that’s rather impressive, you’ll always need that guy who knows how to hit, and not get in trouble for it legally unlike Tkachuk. Cons: Scoring: As far as goal-scoring goes he’s weak in the department though he’s on pace to score eight goals which isn’t half-bad for a defensemen. Still something that VHL GMs like to see their guys use in their career. The fact that he isn’t heavily puck dominant doesn’t help either, and while I’m sure he can improve here this honestly feels like it’s his worse stat out of them all. Though this most likely won’t be something a GM wants burrows to change about since they where probably looking for a shut-down defender. Skating: Simply put Burrows is a lazy skater, and is by no means a Connor McDavid. He looks to improving this skill the most however so don’t feel surprised when you see this is at the top of his list of strengths, and honestly when you take the time to look at his brother Alex you can’t even tell how they’re brothers or if one is a foreign exchange student who happened to be legally adopted by the family. Puck Handling: Burrows isn’t the best at handling the puck as he’s been known to pull Marchand's back in his midget days. Which is why you’d probably never want this guy in a shootout, and why he’s not known to be an elite playmaker. Though he has said that he’s working with the team-trainer to get better.

  6. 2. I think it went good (I will never say anything bad about our team) 3. I couldn’t say right now we’d have to wait to see it play out. 7. Hello and welcome to my Walter world 8. Alex Burrows 9. Mainly to get us to the playoffs. 10. I think we’ll be a top 3 team.
  7. What does that have anything to do with Hanukkah also the answer to that is no because I’ve put no effort so I don’t care this player was just a bounce back and probably my last until 3 seasons later
