  2. Las Vegas Aces Press Conference (July 8-14) 1. This question has been asked when we recently went through some front office changes, but with all the new faces around here I think its important to ask it again. With @Matt_O as the GM and me as the AGM, is there anything you'd like to see from us moving forward that would make your experience on the team better? 2. What do you think about where you were drafted recently? Do you think you should have been higher? Maybe lower? 3. With the recent rumors of a VHLM expansion in the works, which city do you think is most worthy in joining the prestigious group of hosts for VHLM teams? 4. Las Vegas is known for it's flair and we expect the same thing from our players! What is going to be your go-to goal celebration this coming season? 5. Along with getting drafted to the VHLM comes that big stack of cash, whats the first thing you buy with all your new contract money? 6. If you had the chance to go out and party with any NHL player, who would it be?

  12. How would you describe your VHLM experience? So far I'd have to say it's been pretty great. This is my first time on any type of simulation/forum based league so I didn't really know what to expect. But the guys around the league are awesome and do a good job at keeping things interesting. I definitely look forward to hopping on here each day. How would you describe your play this season? I came in with the idea of building a very defensively focused defenseman, but along the way things changed and my team needed a little more offensive production so I started developing my players offensive skills, and I payed off as I was able to rack up a decent amount of points this season. I would say overall my player is a defensively sound D-Man but can also attack the offensive zone if need be How would you describe your excitement leading up to the VHL Draft? Oh I am crazy excited for this upcoming draft, there are a ton of talented guys up for grabs this year and I believe I am one of them. It will be exciting to see where everyone ends up. Around what pick range do you expect to go and why? Looking at my TPE compared to the other players I would like to think I am a top 10 pick on everyone's draft board, but it would be a nice surprise to see me squeak into the top 5. If you wanted General Managers to know one thing about you, what would it be? I guess it would be that I have been very active my short time that I have been here and I don't see that slowing down any time soon. I also understand the role's that each player has for a team so coming in fresh I know that I have a role to play and don't expect anything other than being able to contribute.
  13. I’d like to apply for the US, I’m currently an AGM and would love to get a little GM experience

  15. Ace's Press Conference Questions (June 24-30) 1. The S66 Calder Cup Finals are finally set, the Reapers vs. the Lynx. With the playoffs nearly to an end, is there anything that has surprised you or has it gone pretty much as you expected? 2. What is your favorite NHL team? 3. Soon after playoff's comes the VHLM Draft for Season 67, for those who are entering back in to the draft, where do you think you're going to get picked? If your not getting drafted, where do you think your player sits as far as talent going in to next season? 4. The Ace's just recently had their team award's ceremony, do you think the guys who were named award winners were good choices? Also, what are some more awards you'd like to see handed out? 5. Seeing how a lot of guys on the team are relatively new to the VHL, what is your favorite part about this site so far? 6. If you were on death row and you could have anything you wanted for your last meal, what would it be?
  16. Boone Jenton Defense Points: 63/7= 9 Shot Blocks: 126/20= 6.3 9+6.3+3= 18.3 - round down to 18 18 TPE
  17. Ace's Press Conference Questions (June 17-23) 1. Unfortunately the Aces did not make the cut for the playoff's this season, so which team do you think is going to win it all? 2. If you could change the Ace's color scheme to anything else, what would it be? 3. As this season comes to an end, we will see a lot of players moving up to the VHL just after one season. Do you think is would be better to stay in the VHLM for an additional season or just move up to the VHL as soon as possible? 4. The NHL Finals just wrapped up last week, are you happy to see the Blues hoist the cup for the first time? Who do you think are the early favorites for next season? 5. If you could go back and start a new player right now, is there anything different you would do compared to your current player? 6. What is your dream vacation spot?
  18. The Philadelphia Reapers put the rest of the VHLM on notice when they aggressively entered the trading pool towards the end of this season. At the time there were debates on whether or not making those moves would pan out for the Reapers, however after seeing them lock up the top spot ending the season with a six game winning streak, it is hard to find any fault with the actions of the front office as they approached the trade deadline. Let us recap the trades in question before we move on, for those who may not know. The first late season trade the Reapers pulled off was to send Rhys Chism over to San Diego, in return they recieved a S67 SDM 2nd round pick, S67 OTT 4th round pick, and center Scotty BigShotty. This could have been seen as the Reapers dishing off one of their top guys doing their best to develop some depth in the upcoming season, which would have been right, but the Reapers weren't finished there. Soon after their trade with San Diego, they engaged in three trades with Minnesota in quik succession. As we all know, Minnesota had just recently brought in some new leadership and it was expected that they were going to shake things up a bit, but nobody could have foreseen what was about to happen. The first trade between the two organizations was for Minnesota's top defenseman, Boone Jenton, which the Reapers had to part with S67 2nd round pick which originally belonged to Minnesota, as well as players Michael McConway and Tony Mac. This trade alone created quite the rumble around the league, as it became quite clear that the Reapers planned on making a late run in the upcoming playoffs and they were going to do whatever it would take to make it happen. But yet again, the Reapers weren't finished, they quickly also secured Minnesota's top offensive player Mat Tocco as well, while giving up their S67 2nd round pick as well as player Logan Swallow. At this point it was clear that the Reapers weren't messing around, and to put the final nail in that coffin they also acquired Tocco's long time friend and teammate Andrew Hawk while sending Peter Schilling to Minnesota. While it was clear that the Reapers had added an amazing amount of talent to their already deep roster, the league was waiting to see if the gamble would pay off. Well fortunately for Philly, they didn't need to wait long as the recently added player almost immediately made their presence known. In the short time the players were on the team they had already 53 points between the four of them. Mat Tocco (7 goals, 6 assists), Scotty Bigshotty (3 goals, 4 assists), Boone Jenton (2 goals, 31 assists as well as 26 shots blocked), and Anthony Hawk who had no points but added much depth and talent to the team. It is clear that the Reapers had made the right choice. During the time after these late-addition players were added to the team, the Philadelphia Reapers rose to the top of the standings and secured the number one seed going in to the playoffs. And ironically enough, the first team they will be playing, the team that gave all the new found talent to the Reapers, is the Minnesota Storm. It will be very interesting to see how this series plays out, but it is hard to see the Reapers not coming out of this one. We expect the Reapers won't see much of a challenge until the finals but it has become very hard to bet against them no matter who they face coming up. However, we know anything can happen come playoff time. We will be very excited to see where the Reapers end up
