    1. Absolutely, I think we’ve developed as a team and each of us have developed individually and it’s going to see that development translate to playoff success (crossed fingers)
    2. I surpassed my season goals. It’s my first build so didn’t know what to expect but I think I’ve learned a lot about STHS and I’m excited how well this season went.
    3. Eh, not really impressed. I’ve had a lot of exposure to him so I had high expectations and he absolutely met them. Fantastic job by Hulk.
    4. It’s gonna be tough to match these numbers but I think it’ll translates to VHL success.
    5. Not expecting it but it’s certainly in the realm of possibilities. We’re a very strong contender at this point.
    6. Honestly I think we have 7+?? It’s hard to estimate because I’m not looking at the players currently but I think we have a good representation in next year’s draft.
    7. Out of those 7+ Hulk and Rayz are the best equipped to move to the VHL. Greene, Dangles, and Sundqvist also come to mind.
    8. I think we surpassed expectations, so I would say pretty happy.
    9. Not that I know
    10. No probably not, we’re a young team so I think it would be best to stay put

No_Dangles got a reaction from Hogan in Mississauga Celebrations
As of this evening, the Hounds now have a record of 27-20-3. On the surface level it may seem as though the hounds are a bottom-dwelling playoff team. However, the Hounds seem to think that they can improve their play to match their level of play at the beginning of the season. At the beginning of the season, Mississauga had their rink packed to the brim with fans excited to see their newly acquired VHL franchise. The fan base continued to show their support until the Hounds hit their rough patch of the season, which resulted in dips in attendance. The Hounds would eventually reach the same level of play once again but as it stands currently the hounds are 11-11-2 at home; a figure which surely they hope to improve before the playoffs. Management hopes to bring to re-energize the fan base by introducing promotional nights where free merchandise is given away and they also plan on emulating the celebrations of the NHL team, the Carolina Hurricanes. In particular, I have acquired footage showing the Hounds practicing their next celebration, which appears to be a break dancing session to "Who Let The Dogs Out" by The Baja Men.

    Hounds Success Inspires Mississauga:

The Hounds were not expected to do well. But they have.

The Mississauga Hounds have played excellent hockey, and continue to play excellent hockey, by any measure of that metric. While not initially pegged by most of the league as a threat, and while many of the roles the players took on at the beginning of the season have changed, the Hounds have really come into their own recently and are hoping for a strong playoff run to cap off their first season. With depth on both offense and defense now, the Hounds look to do well, especially after recent developments and acquisitions.

One of the Hounds original problems was the defense leaving goaltender Rayz Funk out to dry in the net. Hulk Hogan, while an intimidating presence, could only do so much on his own. This is why when the Hounds recently acquired defenseman Andreas Sundell from Philadelphia there was quite a bit of excitement in the city. But, while a well rounded player, Andreas is very quiet around his teammates. “We try to talk to him, and he just stares at us blankly,” said forward Scott Greene. “He comes to practice and really lights up when he hits the ice, but I’ve never even heard him make a sound before. He pairs well with a larger than life personality like Hulk Hogan. I’m honestly not even sure he does anything other than play hockey. He might just live in the Paramount Fine Foods Centre!”

We sat down with Andreas for an interview at the Mississauga Civic Center.

Billy: Andreas! It’s so good to meet you!

    Andreas: …

Billy: So, what made you want to start playing for the Hounds?

    Andreas: …

Billy: Hey, Andreas, are you okay? Did you always dream you’d be playing hockey?

    Andreas: (drooling lightly) ...

Billy: Wonderful, we’ll be in touch.

This was easily one of the worst interviews I’ve ever done.

Andreas stood up and walked out of the interview after this. He declined to comment on any other questions we submitted.

The Mississauga Civic Center, where we met Andreas

Many other player’s on the team have been improving quite a bit. When we last interview Scott Greene, he was concerned with the fact that he didn’t seem to be producing offensively. Since then, he has started contributing to scoring more and is happier with his gameplay. “It finally started to click for me. It was just a hump that I had to get over, and once I did, my play has gotten much better!” Despite an odd incident in which Greene seemed to be under the influence of narcotics on the rink, he really has started to back up his claims of being one of the best players in the league. While not as dominant a scoring presence as he would like, he is very impressive in the face off circle, usually winning well over half the face offs he takes each game. “You can’t score if you don’t have the puck. Well, you can, but the team has to be really lucky, and I don’t like luck,” says Greene.

But hockey is a team game, and Greene says he’s impressed with the rest of the teams depth, as well. “Our second line has been monstrous lately. Berocka Sundqvist has really come into his own and has started contributing. Cody Smith continues to be great, and our amazing Hulk Hogan has shown everybody Hulkamania continuously. This team is one to watch!”

Hulk Hogan really has continued to impress, with several of his teammates calling for him to win the Ryan Sullivan Trophy for Best Defensive Player. “He really is unmatched. It’s insane to watch him play how he does. I can’t remember the last time I saw someone hit another player with a lariat that wasn’t Hogan,” says Greene. Hogan has been a dominant scoring presence. He currently sits at 66 points for the season, which is unreal.

    Hogan’s Mississauga Collector’s Card

This scoring depth has really helped the Hounds out in recent days. After being in a slump for several games, the Hounds have gained a number of impressive victories, including a blowout of the Houston Bulls and a very strong game against the Saskatoon Wild, and, despite a close loss against the Mexico City Kings, the Hounds stay optimistic in their ability to beat them. “We’re simply the better expansion team, and that’s all there is to it,” says Scott Green. “Next time we go to Mexico, we’re going to show them.”

The Hound have another few games against the Mexico City Kings left this season, and it will be far from easy. Both teams are playing very well and both are all but guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. Depending on how motivated the players are, we could see them face off in the finals. “I love playing against Mexico. I speak a little bit of Spanish, and it gives me and my girlfriend and excuse to explore Mexico City,” said Scott Greene. The weather is getting quite hot, and Mexico City is understandably hot for their new team, as well.

    Downtown Mexico City

That’s also true for Mississauga, which is even hotter for their team, having recently honored their new friends on the Hounds with a Hounds Day in the city. All of the players attended a parade in their honor. “It was an interesting experience. They had all kinds of floats and people dressed in jerseys and Hounds outfits. It was cool seeing the city support us like that,” said Greene. The city continues to be hopeful as the league enters its second half of the season.

The playoffs are difficult, and no one is going to deny that. It relies on a lot of skill, teamwork, and a hefty amount of luck for you to be able to get all the way to the finals. While there are some scary teams at the top of the standings, at this point, almost any team could take the championship home. With the most exciting time in the season just around the corner, it’s time to find out if it’s an established team, or a scrappy group of Hounds.

No_Dangles got a reaction from Hogan in Mississauga acquires Sundell
Just this morning at 12AM, Mississauga bolstered their defensive depth with incoming defenseman Andreas Sundell from The Minnesota Storm. Being sent Minnesota's way was fellow defensive prospect Khalabib Stiopic. Overall, this trade should work out in both teams' favors. For Mississauga, they currently sit at the 7th spot in the league's standings at a record of 22-19-3. With the acquisition of Sundell, not only do the Hounds finally get a partner for defenseman Hulk Hogan but they also take away Sundell from a team with a similar record of 20-21-1. For the Hounds it looks as if they are hoping that this acquisition will guarantee them a lock for a playoff spot. For The Storm, the acquisition of Stiopic is likely just for a roster spot but he was drafted in the most recent VHLM entry draft so he may still have untapped potential. Likewise, the third round pick that they're getting likely serves as a replacement for the second round pick that they're currently lacking. Nonetheless, this trade may also be a sign of future trades for both teams.

No_Dangles reacted to Gustav in "He Broke the Internet": VHL Fans React as Viral Video Shows Mexico City GM Fortnite Dancing on the Jumbotron
MEXICO CITY--"¡Dios mío! ¡Está bailando el baile del diablo!" began the audio of a shaky, vertically-filmed cell phone video taken inside Mexico City's arena last week and recently brought to view of the world by means of the Internet.

For most, the intermission period is a time to get up, take a walk, buy a drink, spend 10 minutes waiting in line at the restroom while the drunk guy behind you talks about his appendix-removal-gone-wrong, and do just about anything but get excited about the game. That's what the actual game is for. To most people, of course. Not to the Kings' GM, Nyko Nax (@Nykonax), who took the opportunity of a break in the action to appeal to Generation Z in the most egregious manner possible.

Midway through the intermission, The Backpack Kid's "Flossin'" began to play on the arena's sound system, and Nax took the opportunity to not only begin flossing viciously, but, after about ten seconds of that, break into numerous other dances from the infamous video game Fortnite, which has, behind an overwhelmingly 14-years-old-and-younger fanbase, forcibly invaded Western culture in just about every way imaginable, from Avengers: Endgame to YouTube Rewind 2018. Nax was caught on the Jumbotron, and since the video's release, has become known as "that Fortnite guy" throughout the world of professional hockey, and even throughout the world in general, as the video made its way into the trending front-page sections of sites such as YouTube and Reddit.

When contacted for further information, Nax and other members of Mexico City management declined to comment.

No_Dangles got a reaction from Hogan in Dan Gles: An understudy of Patrice Bergeron?
Gles, drafted 36th overall in the S66 VHLM draft, has lived up to his 2-way forward label so far. With 29 shots blocked, Gles is tied for 3rd in the VHLM for blocked shots. To put this in perspective, the next highest recorded number for a forward is 13, the owner of the statistic being Milan Griffin of the Houston Bulls.

Gles has also showed some potential in his offensive zone as well. With 7G and 7A in 12GP, Gles is currently on pace for 84 points in a potential 72 games. The only question now is will he be able to keep up his current pace? My guess would be that his scoring slows down as he currently sits on The Hounds’ second line. Likewise, we can likely expect a drop in blocked shots as well. The Hounds started the season with a non-existent D-core outside of VHLM rookie stud @HulkHogan who stands at 8th in the league in points.

One thing can be said about Dan Gles. The defensive aspect of his game is not going to go away. He’s been quoted in saying that he has always focused on his defensive aspect since he was a kid. In a recent interview on VHL.com. He’s stated that his current focus is in the face-off dot as he hopes that will strengthen his ever-growing defensive capabilities.
