Also, I had a brilliant idea for improving VHLGFX while chatting with DaaD tonight. For any future VHLGFX Ranks/Tourny, I propose the following relatively simple change, which IMO will heavily boost activity and effort. I understand we can't award tpe for the winners of the tourny, because not everyone can compete when it comes to graphics. My proposal is as follows: - Keep the same "week" format, just like we had this year, where competitors just submit a new sig every "week" period. - On every voting submission add a 'username: ____________' field. - Give 2 uncapped tpe to every member who votes for every week of the tournament, regardless of them competing in the tourny. - Keep the 'no rewards' for the graphics tourny itself. This will not only heavily increase VHL engagement, because all members would be willing to vote, even if they have no interest in graphics, to get the uncapped tpe. It will also improve/motivate the graphics makers on the site, knowing that so many more eyes will be on the graphics, and the entire league (more or less) will be seeing their work / seeing the standings / acknowledging the graphics gods. 1. Who would you say is the biggest surprise in the VHL this year? (Player or Team) Podrick Cast imo. Great individual performance this season, didn't think he would really cook like he did this season. 2. Whats your favorite post game meal? An eighth of northern lights indica with a hamburger. 3. As the season is in it's final leg. What do you think makes this Moscow team so special? I think it's the good mix of veteran/well-known old members like Victor, Will, Kyle, Goon, hedgehog, good "current gen" members like wcats, Joubo and leafsman and some good young guys like patpou, menzinger, and May, 4. Toronto is the favorite as they have been the most dominant force in the VHL this season. Do you think they're within reach or will it be up to next year's Menace team to compete? TBH I'm thinking next year Menace will really be big contenders. We have a chance against Toronto this year, don't get me wrong, but they look quite strong and are certainly favourites. 5. What's the biggest hot take you've heard this season? Codrick Past and Jagger Philliefan are the best defensive pairing in the league. 6. Do you think the standings are set or will we see movement between the top 6 this season? I think the standings are now official set.
