Review: Not sure about the design. It looks like you had an idea and it didn't translate well. The render's effects doesn't match the rest of the graphic and I think that might be it's only downfall. Good attempt at trying a wild style, I wish the background complimented your render better than it does. Good try and I like the "out of the box" approach. Keep them coming. 7/10

The season is moving fast and Toronto is performing about where most thought we would. We win a few and lose a few. Nothing really surprising about the season so far. I think the plan is to develop this season and go into the next season with a bit more horsepower. The rookies are playing well for the most part. Adding scoring when the top line eats heavy minutes is a good thing. I am encouraged to see the hard work our core is putting into their players to make them and the team better for the future. At this pace, Toronto should miss the playoffs. Not that it was expected, but you never know what will happen. If we improve the best we can during the rest of the season, I think we could get a shot at making the playoffs but a deep run would be a stretch. Let's see what another week of games brings us. We could go on a run, or we could lose them all. The future is the focus at this point.

New York Americans Press Conference Questions
Steve replied to STZ's topic in Team Press Conferences
1. At the time of writing, we stand at 4-7-1. How do you feel? I feel great about the start. 2. Which team has surprised you the most thus far? Toronto has been amazing. 3. Who will lead NYA in points at seasons end? That one guy that scores more points than the others. 4. Is there a point task you enjoy doing above all others? If so, what is it? I like making graphics the most. 5. Who is your favourite NHL team, and player on that team? Used to be LA Kings until they went all SJW, now I follow Vegas. 6. Xbox Series X or PS5? I bought and use an Xbox Series X and love it. I will get a PS5 once the new God of War is out. -

Well here we go again. The season has started and Toronto is off and running. It will be interesting to see how the team actually does with the loss of a couple talented players. It will take time to build back up to where we were last season. Maybe in the next season or two we will be much stronger. It all depends on how the players train and how devoted to the game they are. Playing in a losing season can be a bit frustrating. You have to remember the good times and forget the bad ones. The pains of playing with a depleted teams can run deep. If you just keep focused and believe in the direction the team is aiming for, it isn't hard to work through all the shit games. As with most rebuilding teams, Toronto is going through the typical ups and downs you can expect. Merrick is having a slow start but some of his team mates are coming through with some really solid efforts to improve. The theory is that we should be a good team once we have our young players reach a point to where they will perform consistently. The locker room isn't overly active but also not dead. I think we just have our noses to the grindstone and we are collectively trying to be a better team. I think we are going to be in a good spot at some point.

Review: Good overall look to this sig. I like the structure of the background. Format looks fairly good with the last name bolded, makes it look more balanced. Render looks good, logo swap looks good. I wish the render could have been larger but I can see where the constraints are. It all works well. 9/10

Review: Very good work. I like the design and your positioning looks spot on. Interesting text, works really well with this project. Simple background but also fits this theme. Great job. 9/10

1. Toronto started this season 1-2-0... is that better, about or worse than you thought we'd be after the first set of sims? I don't look at the win/lose until we have played 10 games or so. Crap shoot at the beginning. 2. Rookie Strauss registered six points in his first three games, what do you think about that? \ (For gregreg: Strauss has scored two goals and registered four assists in his first three games -- do you think that is a realistic PPG on a team like Toronto?) Great for the team to have youth doing good. 3. All of our VHL rookies have scored their first goal! Thoughts? \ (For our rookies: How did it feel when you saw you had scored at the VHL level?) Gotta happen as some point right? 4. Veteran goaltender Jaxx Hextall recorded a shutout in his first win this season. Thoughts? \ (For Rookie: What do you think about Hextall's performance so far this season?) Great goalie. Glad he got one early. 5. Everyone got a 2, 000, 000 bonus from management this season. What do you plan on spending it on? (Aside from drugs and hookers, Sunderbruch.) Training of course. 6. And a random question for everyone this week... favorite Italian dish? That round one with the flower design.

Well that off season is here and it is time to put the last season away and prepare for whats ahead. Toronto will be a fun team again this coming season as the roster has changed. We will have all sorts of line changes I am sure. The best part of a shake up is to see who plays with who good enough to form a line. I expect there will be a few that do really well this season on a personal level. The team will be on a roller coaster of wins and loses but that is how it goes when you are playing for the future. Our GM has done a great job with the team and the locker room has his back. Nothing is more fun than playing on a team with very little drama. The leadership is very transparent with the team and welcomes input, which is a very good thing. I think the future is very bright for Toronto. Plenty of talent in our youth and developing players. We will make a mark in the league when all is said and done.

Review: I think you have a solid design. Render and text aren't bad. The background is interesting. I would say that only thing lacking is finding a layer to tie all the elements together. Keep pushing, you have skillz. 8/10

Review: What a brilliant product. This is what I really enjoy, a non typical design that really stays true to it's theme. Your presentation of this was well thought out and I really like the background/text/render marriage. If I had to pick a weak spot, it would be that it is a bit heavy to the left. Great job. I really like this design. 9.5/10

1. In your opinion... how was Toronto's S75 VHL Entry Draft? | (For Draftees: What was your reaction when you discovered you were selected by the Toronto Legion?) I think the future of the team just got better. 2. John Merrick was irritatingly disregarded in the Top Rookie discussion, while recently retired Ritchie wasn't even a nominee for most improved... so how would you rate your faith in our 'award committee'? It is what it is. Nothing to worry about, do you talking in the win column. 3. Jaxx Hextall is sticking around! What do you think about having a solid goalie in net? | (For Rookie: When asked to waive your NTC, what made you decide you wanted to stick around in Toronto?) Good to hear. He has been our savior this last season and I am sure we will need his talent again. 4. In your honest opinion... was moving Killinger and Magnum a mistake or a requirement? Trading your two best players? What could possibly go wrong..... 5. What are your own personal projections for your player in the upcoming season? I would hope Merrick continues to improve. 6. What about the Toronto Legion? How do you think we will do this season. I think we will be in a development season, so we will see how it plays out.

Well our season is over being kicked out of the playoffs in the conference finals. Toronto made an impressive run and we aren't hanging our heads over the playoffs. We were a solid mid tier team that played really well at times. We have our work cut out for us as we prepare for next season. We should have some youth coming up that will be a good lift in time. I am not sure about any moves that might happen but we are a player or two away from having a solid team. All those things are what make a GM's job really hard. Finding the right fit and then being able to deal for a player looks to be an interesting circle jerk that I am glad to be no part of. With a couple more seasons with Toronto, Merrick will have a chance to develop and see how well he will perform with a bigger role. No matter what team John plays on, almost, he will work hard each week to develop into a top tier player.

1) Who do you think will go 1st overall in the upcoming draft? That one guy, the one with a lot of tpe. 2) Which rookie in our team will make the biggest impact next season? (Byrne or Askarov) They both will do great. 3) How happy are you with Jubis recent trades this off-season? I can't complain. 4) Do you think Patrik Tallinder, DeFenz Mann and Edwin THE Encarnacion will help us more offensively? Which we sucked at last year. Simon T is a curl bitch. Who knows how anyone will play. 5) What do you think our lines should look like opening night? Well you should have 4 forward lines and 3 defensive lines. 6) What are you doing during this long off-season? Wasting time doing sims, just the during the season.

Review: I think you did a good job with this graphic. Not crazy about the pink tone in the jersey, something you get if you over process an image. background looks stock, could have tied it to the render a bit more. Text is good. A bit small but fits your design choice. Not sure about the random splatter. 8/10

Review: Good looking sig. Great detail in the face. I am a huge fan of this design where the render's face shows good details. The text isn't bad, not a fan for the font of his first name or the glow effect but it does work with this design. Good job. 8/10

Toronto made the big show and had a good run. With even making the playoffs were in question at the beginning of the season, it was good to see us pull it together and make it into the playoffs. We blew through the first round but hit a wall in the conference finals. We can look at this from two different directions. First off, we played an honest game and pushed our way into the playoffs. Something to be proud of. Second, we couldn't beat the better team, we were out played and lost. I think both ways to look at Toronto's season and postseason are accurate. The main thing to take away from this season is that we will get better, and that is going to equate to a better outcome. We have key players that play big and a few that should be better next season. The future is bright in Toronto.

1. Sadly the Legion were eliminated in game seven of the NA Conference Finals, but there's a list of positive feats we accomplished this season. What would be your favorite thing Toronto overcame or accomplished this season? A poor start and the ability to adjust our game to be successful. 2. What was your reaction when Toronto defeated Seattle four games to one? It felt really good. Great team effort. 3. As an individual do you consider this season a success... or a failure? A huge success. We improved during the season and made a good push. 4. What have you been doing so far this off season? Nothing but rest then back to training. 5. Toronto has a few picks in the upcoming entry draft, what are you hoping the team does with those picks? Picks anyone that is actively trying to improve. 6. On a scale from one to ten... how do you rate Toronto's season? 9.5. We were a lucky bounce away from being in the finals.

Review: You have a great start with this graphic. You didn't over process it with Topaz, which is good. I like the direction this is going but I would really like to review it after it has text. Text, in my opinion, is about the hardest part of any project. 7/10

Review: Fun graphic to look at. The elements stay within the theme. It has a good look to it with the simple background with minimal effects. Good job. 8/10
