Its sunday hes able to retire now and play his last season so it shall be done
-
Well i had 2 offers more than half way through the day lol one was from a team that no offense wont win a cup. Or one that maybe can wasnt a hard choice
-
For the first time ever i will test FA. Sergei is in his last season, hes still an elite 2 way forward. Im looking for a contender. As of right now Quebec is where Komarov is leaning towards returning. However he admits if the pitch is right he would not hesitate to sign with another contender. Komarov family has never tested, and given Sergei will be the best ever in his family line he wants to atleast win 1 cup. As outside of the VHLM as a GM he has 0 rings multiple game 7 finals losses though dating back to Vlad Komarov. We do know that up next is pint sized enforcer Evgeni Komarov who will as soon as eligible be joining the free agent VHLM market as he was not able to declare before the VHLM draft. Evgeni will be the agencies last player as he admits with age and added responsibilities it is time to move on.

You took over offseason. Late in but season hadnt started from what i remember
-
What happened with Arkander was. Stz stepped down, Spade took over and created Fisher who he named his GM player. Rather than just deal the new GM a huge blow Arkander was allowed to stay a season as Fisher was not VHL eligible yet. However his offical draft year, Arkander was force retired. And Fisher had to play hence why despite New York having likely 1 more season to compete if Ike didnt have to they sold.

Should have been 3 nights ago lol. Weve missed i think 3 or 4 days. We should be in the offseason. Perhaps we shoulda had a back up simmer as Will is busy with life

I love building grinder goons. My last guy coming is going to be basically Tie Domi. I built Sergei to be my best chance at HOF which will obviously not happen. So now im just going back to beating faces in and crushing bodies

9Ive had the pleasure of grooming many great members in my time as GM of the VHLM. Guys whove gone on to commish/GM like @Beaviss @Spade18. Some hard workers like @SlapshotDragon @pennypenny @Lefty. I have yet to really meet another player with the confidence @Dtayl showed his first season he approached me asking what it takes to become a GM. I was suprised, most young bloods are too overwhelmed early on to be worrying about things like that. I offered him a grooming role, as he will take over next season as head GM of the Saskatoon Wild. I will stay on as advisor but my role will just he to aid rather than run things. He is building himself a solid player and is a very hard worker. Well he struggled his first offical draft with missing on some bigger names late in the draft, its all part of learning and every GM has some bad luck every now and then. I am excited to see where he takes the Wild over the next few seasons, and what path him and his player take. If he graduates to be a VHL GM or even a commish one day. Hes got a solid head on his shoulders it seems and he is very eager to learn. Only time will tell what he decides to do but i will most certianly follow his journey aslong as i am a member here. In terms of his player Dylan Nygunn is one of 5 players on defense over a PPG. He played awhille for the Wild after being selected in the 4th round, before being traded to the 21st due to the roster struggling to gel. The Wild decided it was best to sell their assets in hopes they can be competative next season. This helped Nygunn experience winning for the first time as a regular thing rather than struggle giving the young player a confidence boost he needs to keep playing and graduate to the VHL next season. Nygunn will join a Reign team next year that is currently in year 1 of its offical rebuild, with a GM who knows what he is doing they should be competative within the next 2-3 seasons. Nygunn figures to be a big piece of that teams defense going forward and i think could potentially win an award or 2 on defense if he is showing anything right now in juniors its that he is a very capable offensive defensemen. His over 100 hits, 70 blocked shots, and a +27 show he can play both ends of the ice effectively though its clear his best asset will be his ability to get the puck up to his forwards effectively. Hopefully he and Crimson can capture a cup, together on the 21st this season, as they are both solid members. Halifax has a very good shot after taking the league title this year, despite what critics of the league are calling a fix after they basically were awarded an all star team getting to take top pieces from every team.

How BAD will the Senators be? (UPDATED VERSION)
Gooningitup replied to bagelbitesisbae's topic in NHL Discussion
They will be a dumpster fire this year but i think they are on par with Detroit and slightly better than Montreal in terms of future NHL prospects. Chabot, Tkchuck, Brown are obviously the big pieces. However they have Colin White, Josh Norris, Fliip Chilpk, Drake Batherson, Alex Formenton, Flilp Gustavsson, Rudolfs Bolcurs who are pretty good prospects in their own right. Id argue forward wise they should be fairly good in the future, goalies are always far from a sure thing but if Gustavsson can be it they set. But they need defensemen behind Chabot in the pool worth a damn when Harpur, Jaros are your best 2 after and they bottom pair project dmen -
1.5mill top line LW cant promise alot of wins but ice time can not be beat
-
1.5mill top line C on the worst team in the league all i can offer is ice time
-
Media i cant do GFX for shit lol
-
Ill do Dylann Nygunn @Dtayl
-
Well yes, but i think hes earned first line and has the skill the be a top 6 power forward vs just a 3rd line goon most think he is
-
See thats where alot of people outside caps fans who dont watch him daily will disagree. Do i think he plays with an edge an can cross the line? 100% hes made some dirty plays(i personally dont think the Auston-Reese thing was him trying to hurt think it was a bigger dude hitting a smaller dude head down). But he actually has pretty good hands. Now is he a star? No but i think 50 points, 150+PIMs, 150+hits is in the realm of possibility for him. Which in many leagues that will be crazy value player
-
Tom Wilson im betting on a break out mark my words
-
Well its easy to Let Girard go when they have the deepest defense in the league all locked up for a long time and still have very good d prospects in the system. Girard was a subject of the numbers more than not believing he will be good.
-
Van is about to go off, Petterson Joulevi, Demko Boeser, Horvat still got decent Vets in Stecher/Edler. Baertischi, Markstrom both good not great. I think they better than Ottawa probably top 5 bad still but i think Vans got a better roster maybe worse star power but better depth. Detroit really is bad will compete for bottom 3, with ottawa and montreal. I think ottawa is worst than Montreal because of Price alone. Which puts it at Detroit/Ottawa for bottom 2 spot
-
I mean Ottawa not being a bottom 3 teams would be shocking lol even with Karlsson they need a 37 year old Anderson to bounce back to even stay even on last years roster
-
I didnt imply that you did haha i was saying outside of ur offer for Nygunn i had some very awful offers ?
-
Oh you did well but was just pointing out how i managed to maximze my assets
