4. Who is your second favourite NHL player? Quinn Hughes. It constantly changes but right now JT Miller is number 1. 5. If you could play for any NHL team, which would it be and why? It would have to be the Vancouver Canucks. My fave team, beautiful season, insane fans, electric playoff atmosphere. 6. I've been asked by the arena managers to conduct a survey on player's thoughts on the arena. What is one addition to the Marauders arena that you would like to see added and why? id like to see a massive pirate ship lowered down on to the ice before the game for the players to enter the ice through.

I do like the server idea more. I’m that automated message that new players get it could provide a link to their specific draft class server. In each server you could have a handful of GMs from any league, recruitment team members, etc. The nice thing about servers is they’re just used to help players get a grip on how things work in the league and then after a few seasons the servers can be deleted or recycled.

Spider Panda originates from a small town in South Korea called Namwon. He spent the majority of his young childhood living in this small town but it’s not where he originated from. He was born in the mountains of Nepal but was moved to Korea at the age of 2 so he has no recollection of what Nepal was like. He grew up as any normal Panda would do, living in a bamboo house surrounded by a beautiful series of lakes. When he was about 10 years old he had gotten separated from his parents and was taken captive by a zoo. He spent only a few weeks in this zoo before being shipped to New York City. The struggle was real for this poor panda as he had to deal with being separate from his family, not know where they were or if they were safe. He spent 6 months in a zoo in New York City before his life changed in the most unheard of way. A spider had come down from the ceiling one day and bit him while he was sleeping. He woke up panicked, sweating and not feeling himself. As days went on he started realizing that he was stronger than he once was, faster and could stick to surfaces. He would eventually use these abilities to escape this prison they call a zoo. Spider Panda now out in the world alone, had to survive on his own. How could a panda survive in a world of humans without being thrown right back into a zoo? One day he found the answer to that question. He was climbing by a ten story window when he saw something on the TV that caught his eye. It was a Red Panda playing hockey. A panda in the net playing in a Victory Hockey League game. This inspired Spider Panda, if Red Panda can do it then why couldn’t he? He even had a little extra gifts that Red Panda never had. Spider began working on his skills as a goalie in a the back alleys of New York. One day a group of kids saw him and thought it was hilarious. They brought him along to one of their pick up games thinking it would be hilarious to shoot on a panda. Little did they know this panda was about to put them in their place. He spent that whole evening stopping every puck that came his way and did the news of a panda stopping pucks spread quickly. The crowd was massive around this arena with spectators from all over tuning in. People were streaming it on their phones. Little did he know, that this would change his life forever. Spider was approached by a man one day that had seen him play over one of the streams. He wanted panda to come tryout for his junior team. The loopholes to have animals play were already set in place since Red Panda had already paved the way so it was pretty easy to get started. Spider would make the junior team as the back up goalie after his first tryout. It was a big transition for his teammates to be playing with an animal but as they warmed up to him and the idea of it he was quickly moved into a starting goalie position. He spent a few years playing hockey and realized his skill was too high for this level of play. He had his mind set on following Red Pandas path and then exceeding it. He would then declare for the VHL and start working his way up from the VHLM. Before he could do that he had a major life event he needed to get taken care of. Back at the start of this we talked about how he was separated from his parents at a young age. It had been years and has still never heard from his parents, he still doesn’t know if they’re even alive or what they’re going through all this time without their son. He had built up quite the following during his time playing hockey. He put it out to the world and told them about his story. Thousands of fans came to his aid and started putting funds together to send him home to look for his family. He spent a year looking for them in Korea and without any luck. He had given up all hope by this point. Before coming back to New York he decided to visit the place he was born and flew over to Nepal. It was a story book ending as he was reunited with his family who had fled to Nepal after the incident many years ago. Spider Pandas family was shocked to hear about his life in New York but were so proud of what he had accomplished. They decided to make the move with him back to New York and support his goals of one day playing in the VHL. Word count: 834

There is a new goalie phenom coming into the VHL. They’ve just recently signed up to join the minor league and will be joining a team in the near future. During this next season there will be a 72 game display of the pros and cons of Spider Pandas game but for now I will break it all down for you here. We are going to start with the Pros and then work our way to the cons after. Pros: To start things off we will talk about Spider Pandas rebound control. He has a way of controlling rebounds that is like no other. It’s fitting his name is SPIDER Panda because the puck sticks to him more than your typical goalie. There are rumours that he is in fact part spider but for now that’s all they are is rumours. Either way you won’t see much for rebounds coming off this goaltender. Next is tracking the puck. His awareness and ability to follow the puck is also very uncanny. Some refer to it as his spidey senses while others refer to it as his Peter Tingle. Not even sure why, his names not even Peter. It is almost like a super power of his though, how well he can anticipate where the puck is going to be at all times. It’s a quality that a coach would love for their goaltenders to have. The last pro is his ability to be a great locker room guy. Anywhere he’s been in his young career he has always been a person in the locker room that players love to have around. He is a team first kind of person and he gets a lot of respect because of it. Cons: Spider Panda isn’t perfect, he does have a few flaws. His first major flaw is how emotionally unstable he is following loss. He lost his Uncle Ben Panda many years back and this led him down a very dark path. It took him many years to come back from that. Ever since that happened he has always struggled with losing. So watch out for some emotional highs and lows. Over confidence is another flaw he has. When the emotional highs are high, he tends to be a bit self centred. It got really bad when he had this incident with a symbiote. It’s almost like he was a completely different person. I’d recommend keeping him away from symbiotes if you want him dialled in on the ice. Lastly, he has this weird obsession with wanting to fight crime. He’s left practices and even games when that ear piece of his starts going off telling him where the nearest crime is happening. Don’t get me wrong, it’s noble as hell but it is extremely annoying to have a player dip out on you like that during an important game. You’re getting a quality player with a lot of weird baggage. He’s going to be a star in the league one day but not without a few bumps along the way! 508 Words
