1. We overcame our most persistent rivals in Helsinki in the first round, only to be sunk by Moscow. What part of this outcome were you most surprised by?
That we banded together as a team! Riga is best!
2. Lincoln Tate was the first to break the news that changes may be coming in Riga. What are your thoughts on the future of the Reign?
We need to have a shake up from what I've heard. Shush coming up will be an influx of youth! So hopefully that also helps.
3. A few teams will be struggling with the cap next season, e.g. Seattle. Does the league need a cap increase, or is it working as intended?
Cap increases are always good. Keeps teams full and players happy.
4. Looks like a huge offseason is coming. Whose saga are you looking forward to following most during free agency?
I honestly don't know, being new to the team I hope we can gain some talent and compete.
5. Whether you're a rookie or veteran, are you happy with the way your career has panned out?
I am very happy with how much career has panned out. I scored a lot in the Minors and got my number retired. Now it's time to see what I can do for the big club.
6. Which team's Discord channel (aside from the Reign) would you be most interested in reading?
I don't really know, maybe New York?

I dont know any of them so all of them?
8. Oh god this corona thing is everywhere. Do you subscribe to the whole "wear a mask everywhere" thing, or is diligent hand hygiene enough?

1. What has been your favorite memory this season?
Becoming the all-time points leader in MX and then getting my number retired.
2. What VHL/VHLM team are you hoping to get drafted to next season?
I am already on Riga, which I am excited about.

Not sure and don't really care now that we are out.
4. What kind of payment bonuses do you think should be added to the VHLM contracts?
Goals per game bonus.
5. How are you going to spend the off-season?
Training back in Iceland.

I like to go to the lake and relax and fish.

Scoring, that's what Shush Does.

Shush Nyko, he is the best player. It's actually probably Dylan Carpenter tho.
3. Mississauga is moving up on us, how can we keep them at bay?
Shush Nyko needs to score more, that is how we would do it. We are already on a good run, so hopefully it stays.
4. There's been a lot of talk about expansion lately. Where would you  like to see a team?
Newfoundland CA, would be an awesome spot.
5. Are there any moves you think management should make coming up at the trade deadline?
No, let's make a run.
6. In more somber news, Saskatoon's GM passed away IRL. Did you have any interactions or memories of Elmebeck you'd like to share?
I didn't know him, but that is tough for any involved. Hopefully everyone is ok.

1. First round is over in 6 games, how do you think the first round went?
It went well, we won, so that is always a good thing.
2. How do you think we'll do against Mississauga? Who wins and how many games does it take?
I think we will win, we came back from 0-2, so now we just need to put it on them. I think it will go 7 games though.
3. Which King and which Hound would you expect to drop the gloves during our games?
Nygren and Rice for sure.
4. Which team making the second round surprises you the most? Did you expect to see all of these teams in the second round?
Halifax making was a bit of a shock, but any team can get hot in the ploofs.

Don't know it, so I am unsure... Is it spicy?

MEXICO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We actually just did this sim.
3. We are getting close to the playoffs, who do you think has the best shot to win the cup?
I think we have as good of a shot as any. We have a deep roster and can compete with anyone.
4. We picked up Stone Wolski recently, how much of an impact do you think they'll make in the playoffs?
Huge, we have been winning a lot since he came on.

Sir Jaxon Walker easy.

I have to be honest, I love big cats, so I would think the Lynx is the coolest Mascot.
6. Is there anything you are looking forward to next season?
Scoring more points. I don't think there will be room in Riga yet, so I'll be back and better than ever.

1. Mississauga is now only 2 points behind us. Are you worried or do you think we can hold the 2nd place spot from them?
I am not worried, even if they catch up I believe we will be able to top them in the end.
2. Jaxon Walker is currently our only player in the top 10 in points. Who do you think is going to pop off next and move into the top 10 in the VHLM?
Shush Nyko, my player has a chance to rise to the occasion. Hopefully I can get it turned around in time for the stretch run.
3.  Now that we are halfway done with the season. What are your Win-Lose-OTL predictions for the end of the season?
I think we will end up with around 10 losses and 5 OTL. The rest will be wins. Hopefully someone can give Sask another loss or two.
4. We have the 2nd and 3rd most hitting players in the VHLM. Why do you think we are so angry?
We hard hit boys that is all.
5. The holidays are coming up quickly, what are you looking forward to the most?
Time off and sleep, to be honest.
6. We are thinking about organizing a team vacation, where is your ideal location for this?

1. How has your first week as a King been? It's been a lot of fun, been scoring a ton and getting a lot of ice time so that's nice.
2. Who's your favorite locker room teammate? Umm I like everyone TBH, except Nyko.
3. The kings have been off to a great start going 9-1-0 in our first 10, how do you think the rest of the season is going to go?  I think we are just going to step on the gas even harder.
4. We recently made some moves to bring in more talent to the team. Who do you think is going to make the most impact: Markus Nygren, Milos Slavik, Erik Summers, or Jaxon Walker? Jaxon Walker is a stud and will continue to be one for MX City.
5. Who do you think is the best person to show the new guys around Mexico City? Summers, even tho he is a new guy he is sooooo excited about everything.
6. How is the season going for you as an individual? Really reallly good. I am one of the point leaders on the team.
7. Now that we are a little bit into the season, how have your goals for the season changed? Nope, we are going to win, that is really the goal every year.
8. Do you have any predictions on who is going to win the cup in the VHL?  I really hope my team Riga wins, that would be really awesome.
9. What video games have you been playing recently? Outer Worlds is the game I've been playing the most recently.
10. Who's your favorite VHL player? (If you don't have one now is a good time to look into the VHL) Jensen Sorenson, duh.

So, this far year Shush Nyko has been on the top of his game. Mexico City has been flying high and that includes the young Icelandic star. Mexico City has acquired a lot talent around Shush and this has really helped him propel his game further. Mexico City started the season on a 9-1 run and has yet to really cool off. They are going out an out shooting opponents and putting them back on their heels. This has been very advantageous for Shush Nyko, as he loves to play fast and push forward. He has gotten a little bit of powerplay time so far. He is hoping he can extend his role a bit, but with some new vets coming in he is hoping to keep his spot on his current line. If he can keep on his line, he might be able to beat the Mexico City scoring/point records this year. That would be very exciting for a player who is consistently underrated. Mexico City could also really contend for a championship this year, which would be amazing for such a young and new team. Let's go Mexico City!

Honestly, wasn't a great season for me, but I liked the scoring aspect of my game. Hopefully this season is better.
