As the regular season has ended, playoffs have begun, this is were we all want to be, the best of the best, fighting against each other for winning the Founder's Cup, we all want to win there, but just some are the privileged to have the chance of fighting for it, as we can see on the first round the San Diego Marlins wiped off the Yukon Rush by winning of more or les 4-5 goals per game, then the Minnesota Destroyed the las vegas by winning the first two by 7-0 and the last two Las Vegas tried putting up a fight but it didn't work out as we can see who passed, Houston the first two games was dominant against Philly, but the third game had to be resolved in OT and that seemed that decreased their morale as the last game they struggled a bit, and Ottawa the first game had some issues against Mexico, the second was a little bit more towards Ottawa, the third one had to be resolved in OT, and the last one was a clear win for Ottawa that has proven that under pressure they play even better, the pair-ups we're going to see for the semi-finals are: Houston vs Minnesota / Ottawa vs San Diego. This pair ups are going to be hard for everyone, but in my opinion the one who passes between Ottawa and San Diego is the one that has more chances of winning the cup this year, Houston and Minnesota have a chance too don't get me wrong, but in my opinion those two are the strongest teams right now Word count: 275

1. I think it was a great first season and that it got me to know better the league and to learn the basics of the game 2. Yes, but I'm happy about it as when I had to leave they were last, I'm trully happy that they could turn it around 3. Other great players that can make up on the Hall of Fame list are the new ones created by ex-players, I mean, players who start with 80 base TPE, those are some that can surelly go up to the top as they couldn't with their first player, I mean with those new players they have 50 more TPE to spend at the beggining and get even better as the league goes on, those are the kind of player who can surelly become one of the greatest of all times, although I think awards should be compensated, in this I'm talking through my ignorance since I don't actually know if this already exists, but in my opinion the winners of the cup, or if you end up winning an award by the end of the season you should have a TPE boost, I mean for example earning 10-15-20 TPE depending on the award gained, for example you shouldn't gain the same being the champion of that year, that being the MVP of the season, the awards should depend on the importance of the award, and also there should be one or two more awards, such as the finals MVP or the most improved player (talking about VHLM awards not VHL) and also there should be a boost for the draft pick you end in as a morale boost, as you get hyped if you get to be 1st overall, this are just ideas but I think that with this slight changes the run for entering the Hall of Fame should be more fun and for the offseason that will be good too as people will get even more hyped for draft, awards etc... The Hall of Fame is where the greatests of all time are toguether, the place where they are all equal, they are considered as one of the greatest of all time in their sport, is where they don't try and beat each other out, they are there enjoying the moment and remembering the good times where they were the ones playing... Now let's have a look at the prospects, these are the future, the newcomers, the ones who are here to pass old legends and the ones who want to get alongside them in the Hall of Fame in the future, that's the two sides of the line and today I'm going to look into someone who is very much likely to join the greatests and become part of the Hall of Fame. One of them is the young and my draft rival Joey Proto ( @Proto) , he has been constantly updating and he got a job and he has been reasuring himself on the top draft picks, he has been passing everyone in the VHL draft and keeping the 1st place in the VHLM draft, he has also been doing great on the league this year, although he hasn't been great putting points up the board he has been strong on defence, as he is a defence man, as he has positive 22 points with his team, this shows that he is great at stopping goals and a team player that makes his team play greatly. I think he is a potential Hall of Fame player as he doesn't seem to be going to stop now or anywhere soon (although anything can happen in real life, hope nothing goes wrong) but he sure is someone to look at The next one is someone that is a bit more experienced and that has been of great help to me, this is Kris Rice ( @Ricer13) , he had a pretty decent rookie year, not great but not awful with 33 points but his second year in the VHLM was amazing, he had 137 points!!! He was drafted 11th overall in the VHL and he has been making a statement recently, he has been showing great skills as an AGM of the Yukon Rush (Former team of mine) and he has been putting decent points so far this season as a rookie in the VHL, he is playing for the Calgary Wanders who are getting for sure into the playoffs and he has been improving a lot, he has gotten to 95 TPE on defence, 90 passing and 80 scoring, he is very likely to reach the Hall of Fame if he keeps acting and being just as he is, I've got personal experience with him (He was the AGM of the team I used to play) and I can assure he is one of the greatest guys I've met so far in the league, he is caring with everyone and always trying to help But in reality I think that if anyone puts his effort in and he really tries to get into the Hall of Fame he will always get the chance, he just has to be comitted Word count 524

Today I thought about making some more interaction with my teammates here in Ottawa, I wanted to ask them questions and know their opinion on various things, I've been welcomed greatly and although on the sims I'm barely getting any points I hope that by improving my player is able to apport something to the team and show the league why they chose me and now that the draft is arriving to make the VHL teams now that I'm here and that they should keep and eye on me. The questions I ask are very basic as this is just a basic first touch and first impressions, I would probably get deeper as the seasons go through and I get to know them better as I think we're going to keep growing toguether (at least that is my hope) and that we're able to win the cup this year and some more!! This are the answers of @jRuutu 1. What are your goals with ottawa this season? Winning the championship is number one, fairly surely my last chance to win it, so doing all I can to make that happen. On individual level hitting 100 points and 300 hits would be cool, those are obviously a lot higher goals now than before the season started, but good year so far means increased expectations! 2. What do you think about the latests results...? Bit unlucky maybe, in the last five games we have three OT or SO losses, those games could have gone either way. Sucks to lose them, that is something that gives us fire and hunger to improve our game as a team and also on individual level. Need to find ways to turn tight games into our victory. 3. How do you think the team could improve? Our powerplay could be better, currently around 17%, which is middle of the pack. When the best teams have their powerplay almost at 30% - we could do better in that area. Powerplay is going to be key when playoffs start. 4. Have you got any desires of becoming an AGM/GM? Why? At the moment no, I don´t have the patience for the job in a way. Dealing with people who do things differently will almost surely make me lose my shit, what I think is only fair and in good spirit is something that some might not even care about, so at least full time GM job is not going to be for me. Assistant GM in the future maybe, could be fun to try management role out in VHL, never had a GM job in here. 5. Who do you think is the most active one in the LR? Tough to say, I think we got pretty mixed group at the moment, obviously some Europeans and then perhaps users who consider VHL as their second leagues right now in the simulation hockey world, that makes it tough sometimes to get longer conversations going on, multiple users pop in here and there, but I´m fairly sure the place will keep on getting more active the closer we get to playoffs, that is when the real fun starts after all! 6. To what team of the VHL would you like to go when you're called up? You know what, I have no idea :p No specific teams that I would like to play or avoid playing in, as long as there is honest communication and I get the sense that the organization is moving forward - I´m happy to play for whatever team picks me. Only matter of time before the team starts winning if and when right pieces are in place. 7. If suddenly the team has to exchange good players for high-picks, what pick do you think the team could get for you? Maybe a fourth round pick if some team happens to have multiple and need to get some immediate help to their roster, I´m going to move up to VHL in near future, so that seriously hurts my trade value. In the VHL the case will be different, I´m a young active winger, that could bring cool return, maybe even a first round pick or some similar level younger player. I'm hoping this season we can get to the finals, I know playoffs are hard, but we have a great team that are on a constant improving, we have high-TPE player on our squad too.
