Teams are definitely making the active decision to rebuild. WAR sold all their top players, DC/PRG/HSK were in willing rebuilds after older players retired or got traded, LA has just been in a super slow rebuild since their last core retired with the team and didn't get moved for assets. There's usually like 3-5 pretty clearly tanking teams every season regardless.

New set of questions, I'm so good at remembering! 1. It looks like our hot start wasn't a fluke, and we now have only 1 regulation loss in 23 games while surging comfortably at the top of the league. Does the Victory Cup curse ever start to creep into mind? Do you believe in it? 2. Our goalie play was the biggest question mark going into the season, but our goalies combine to lead the league in GAA with strong SV%'s as well. What message do you have for @Dil and @BrutalBoost to keep their momentum going? 3. Last season, Jarmo Ruutu led the league in assists as a forward, now Maverick Goncalves paces the league in assists. Why do you think the Moscow style of play favors forwards generating so many assists when it's often a defenseman category? 4. 7 out of 10 skaters on the roster are well over a point per game pace. Is this sustainable? How do we avoid a crash? 5. As well as the Menace are playing, the Pittsburgh Penguins look to be playing inversely as they're playing horrible hockey. Am I just not allowed to have two of my favorite teams playing well? 6. How's your NHL team doing after the first couple weeks of the season? Better than the Penguins hopefully?
