Safe to say Holik is my best goalie yet. Top 15 in GAA and Shutouts with 2 seasons left. That pesky S% is being a pain though.

Short on questions this week but not on content! I struggle through sniper rifle camos (so close to gold when I start, can I get there?) while answering questions from @punkhippie and @der meister. I'd totally be up for that. The big problem being the timing of it. The CoDCast I usually record at like 7am (Atlantic) when my wife has gone to work but I haven't yet. My ability to record later in the evening is far more limited unfortunately. It would be cool to have a CoDCast with more than just myself though.

Feels good to finally get that Shaw, even I figured we fell short in the playoffs. Only took my 4th goalie before I finally managed one. Congrats to all the winners, a few of these were pretty tough votes.

This Its the VHLM, trades happen all he time to send people to contending teams. Plus it's the bloody minors, even if you don't have an amazing season your stats honestly don't matter anyway.

Mentoring advice: Don't retire before your career starts. That should get you at least started on the right path.

I caught that but it still doesn't explain autopsies. Those are performed to establish cause of death. It was a plane crash, cause of death is obvious. Investigating the cause of the "accident" sure but no need for autopsies. Unless of course @BobertZ was aboard the plane all along, drugged everyone on board with massive piles of cocaine and then parachuted to the top of a casino for his hooker and blow party. Then autopsies might be needed I suppose...Actually I like this theory.

Hey look, he didn't become an instant hall of gamer, who ever would have guessed that. Did making an eternal backup just lose its flair or were you worried about getting too close to leaving the VHLM? P.S why would they perform autopsies? Pretty sure the cause of death was being on a plane that fell out of the sky. They should probably focus on the reason the plane went down.

I'm actually working on an episode at work about Stephane Quintal who does that job now so it seems only fitting that I take the role.

It's honestly not that hard, as long as you all do a clap sync to make sure that everything stays synced it would be pretty easy to slap some face cams into an overlay and have a lot more visually than just a logo which would honestly be a little boring to watch. I know the point is to listen to it but still.

When you guys move over to YouTube do you think you'll be popping face cams on so that we have something to actually look at with the video or is it just going to be like a logo with the voiceover? Also, you needed an editor for things and you never came to me, that hurts

Nothing against Riga really. Honestly I was shocked when Devise approached me about being able to do this. If not for the new backup goalie rule it never would have happened and I honestly expected that Riga would likely be the best destination for me. I hope @hedgehog337 can pull off some great things with the team but unfortunately they just aren't the fit for me that NY is this year.

Accepted No need to drag this out into a long Free Agency when we all know what's obviously going to happen here. I've had a lot more interest than I was expecting this season (some of it not present in this topic) and while I respect and thank every GM in the league for their interest and offers I need to think about what's best for Holik moving forward. NY is obviously a top team in the league and when I'm looking to compete there are very few places that could be better. It may be a challenge with so few players on the blue line but I believe it's a challenge I can overcome. I'm excited for the possibility of helping bring NY some extra cups. Not to make this too dramatic but a few quick shootouts here. Thank you @Devise for some very quick dealings to get NY the cap space to do this, and for putting yourself on the bench far more than I'm sure you had planned this year. Also, just for fun, @Phil, if you could keep up the Series winning goalies in the playoffs without scoring them on me this time that would be great.

I would love to vote for myself (just nice to be listed) but not giving it to Jarvi would be a complete travesty.

Is this affecting skaters way harder or am I just not freaking out as much as I should be? Dont get me wrong, it hurts, and it's gonna make next season a lot harder, but I hardly think it completely ruins me this year.

Perfect. I haven't decided for sure yet so I'll have to play around with it but just wanted to be sure. There isn't really a lot of build variation with goalies anyway.
