  1. So I was going to do the SigCast because my wife was going to be out of town this weekend. However, weather changed the plans so I'm going to have to postpone it for now, sorry guys.   4. Assistant Editor / Editor for television and film at a production company in Halifax. Assistant editing is basically just backing up, transcoding and syncing all the footage when it comes in. My main editing is offline editing which is what people would normally think of. Cutting the footage to create the show / film. I have also dabbled in (aka did the entirety of our show over the summer) Online editing which is taking the finished show and basically making it look better via colour correction, effects, etc.
  5. Depends on the day and lobby. Some games I go off and some games I can't do shit. As for the bodies, it's just that level. It's on a space station so I guess they wanted a cool "look it's in space" thing even though it makes no sense that the artificial gravity would stop working when you die.

  10. Very interesting style you have going on here. I definitely like the idea you're going for. The bokeh effect is relatively subtle but works well and the colours really pop. The lighting is also pretty decent. The text is my main concern. I love the style of it but somehow it just looks very LQ and blurry. That exact text style in better quality I think would look great.
  11. This is looking sexy. The lighting is amazing, the contrast is spot on, the effects are cool and the BG is simple but effective. The text is my main complaint. It's not bad, it's actually quite good, but the left side of it just stands out slightly too much; same with the subtext. Very great piece though.
  12. WAY too much gradient map going on. It makes the BG look very flat and makes the render not match it whatsoever. In general the colours just don't really match. I'm also confused by the red outline around the render. The colours colour be fine but I think you need to try different layer modes because it's not working great as is. The text is okay and the lighting could be a bit better.
  13. I love how dark and gritty this is and that text is fantastic, both in general and for the theme. The main issue IMO is the giant light source on the left. There's nothing necessarily wrong with it but there's not nearly enough light splashing onto the render from it given how bright it is. Give some light to the render so that it makes sense and this would be a lot better.
  14. The texture on the text feels a little off, not sure exactly why. I would like to see it match the off-white part in the BG as it would look bit better. It also needs a little better lighting as the render feels a little flat. It does feel like you have the right idea going but it doesn't feel quite finished.
  15. Blending is a big issue here. The render stands out from the BG and the text stands out from everything. It makes everything just feel stacked instead of making things feel natural. Aside from that the colours are alright but a little boring and the face is massively oversharp which makes it look almost LQ.
  16. Everything does feel a tad LQ for some reason, that's holding this back a lot. Some stronger contrast and lighting probably would have helped that. I agree with Molholt about the text, the main text is decent but the other text gets a little lost. Overall the effects and stuff would be really nice if it was a little higher quality.
  17. Major points for creativity, this thing looks seriously cool. Love the very digital look you have going with the green and the binary code. Text and effects work very well. Lighting could be a little bit stronger IMO but it's not too bad. Well done.

  24. Your SV% is SLIGHTLY better, my GAA is FAR better, plus I have 4 SO to your 2. You're holding yourself up far better than I expected (as you somehow always do) but I don't think you can call SV% everything.
