Unfortunately I'm not 100% sure. I know GIMP has at least some of them but it's been so long since I've used it that I can't recall where they are located.

I find a good rule of thumb is to not show a full render in a sig. The size just doesn't usually work well with it as it makes the player look tiny and insignificant when he should be the main focus. I like to see you trying new things with the text because experimenting is good but like Muffins said, simple is sometimes better. Master making simple text work with the piece (get it closer to the render for a start so it's less distracting) before trying to do complex things: gotta walk before you can run. Aside from that don't be afraid to experiment with stocks. It kinda looks like you just left them on normal and put the opacity way down. be creative, mess with layer modes and see what things they change and can bring out of your stocks. Don't be afraid to play around with things, the undo and delete buttons can and will be your friends.

I like the idea here but unfortunately not the execution. Text is great and the blending and everything feels fine but there's so much blue and so little light that nothing really pops out except the text. The render feels like an afterthought IMO. Definitely get some lighting in there and make it really pop off the canvas and this will be better.

I like where you're headed with this but I think things need to be toned down a bit. Feels a little too "in your face" right now. The right side is very packed, the text effects are all over the place and the render almost gets lost. I think the individual elements all sorta work but I'm not sure they quite have the cohesive flow you were going for.

Love the lighting, love the render effects, almost jazzed myself over the text. My complaint is the BG. you gave it some kind of weird stained glass kinda look and it just doesn't work IMO. The rest of the piece feels very simple and clean and that effect just feels over-the-top and cheesy by comparison. A straight blue I think would have worked better. -
Effects and stock work are solid. I agree that the bottom right needs something. The negative space is fine by me but it's just a straight line to black which looks off. I'd also like to see some stronger lighting on that render to really make it pop. Overall though it's a very well made piece.

I'm pretty much in agreement with Muffins on this. Kill the top light source as all the light in the piece can easily be provided by the lens flare (which looks stellar). I also agree that a JC might have helped although I can't complain too much since I never do them. Cool idea with the star on the map of quebec and the little bits of lens dirt really look good. Solid work.

So, my wife got a new job which is great BUT it also means she has weekends off which means cutting into my CoD time. I think with that background a nice clean sig could have been very possible but the pieces aren't quite there to give it that punch that a clean piece needs. As muffins said the text colour stands out far too much against the BG. That could work if the text were pushed right up over the render as it would supply a nice pop but with it's position it causes a distraction. I do like the effects in the BG but I think a little more in the blending and lighting department could have really made this pop. -
My main issue is the subtext, mostly that I can't really figure out what it says at all. Aside from that the effects are pretty cool but might give it a bit of a monotone feel. Lighting also kinda feels like it's coming from everywhere. This isn't to sound too critical though because I think it's actually a pretty strong piece.

Best time to give a team a second chance if you ask me. No one should let past mistakes impact their current decisions. Things happened and it's unfortunate but the Bears are a strong team that just needs that little push to get over the hump. Having been at at the helm of Cologne for so long I'm sure you can respect that struggle.

You come back and we could be. That's sorta the issue with Seattle right now. Everyone wants to go to a contender and we aren't one but we easily could be if a few people gave us a shot. Plus, have we ever played together in all these years? We must have but I don't remember it.
