The 90th VHL point has been acquired. I have never scored more than 90 points in a league thus far in my career, and yet I have never scored any less. I am walking around, petrified, waiting to be turned into the great Wayne Gretzky, having my everything broken, again and again. It does not seem possible that I could score another point, and I now turn my focus towards everything else I could possibly do to support this blistering Menace squad. I dare not get on the ice, for fear of having my everything broken, but perhaps I could pass water to the bench. I’ll even make sure the GatorfuelBioAdeSteeel is properly labelled so players don’t splash themselves with it. Or perhaps I’ll start selling popcorn, or doing radio commentary? I wonder how long I could get away with just doing autographs before someone realizes I’m not playing anymore?

Man that thread was a ride. We definitely spent more time saying the same thing in ways that made it seem like we were all arguing, even if we all had the same concept in mind. And as much as I'm glad we got it done, I don't think we've come close to seeing the long-term product that the VHLM will be, and that excites me! As does the big conclusion to your series!

Not retiring at the TDL then waiting until the next TDL to create was a much needed break for me after Wolanin!

It has been a wild few weeks, and things are going quite well! I survived midterm season, and I feel like I’m finally getting my classes. Grades have been spectacular, but that’s been mostly good intuition and prior knowledge, but now, I think something new is entering my brain. For Woods, it’s been hot out the gate. I fully expect Moscow to be a top team this season, and we’ve got a ton of great players ready to fight each other for top performances every game. I’ve built some separation from my teammates in TPA, and am now starting to truly break out as my own individual contributor and it feels great to be back. I’m really enjoying all of my non-school endeavours as well. I feel like I’ve crushed more project-wise and creatively than I really ever have before. I have all the tools now, and getting to actually execute with them is a crazy feeling. Houston has been great to me so far, and the players are picking up everything I’m putting down. It’s been a confusing start sim-wise, as I’m sure most of us are well used to at this point, but we’re starting to actually see some meaningful results in the standings. We’re closing out tough games, and we’re spreading the offense across the lineup. Learning to manage a FULL roster as opposed to a half-full roster has been a fun challenge, and it’s great to see the players who took my build advice get off to a great start. Still lots of work to do, and lots of games left to be played, so I’m excited to see what we can build from here!

I've always thought that the most valuable players on the team are the 500-800TPA players. Sure, stars are great, but they have enough TPE that regardless of how they build they can be good. The 500-800s though, if they build really well can compete at that level! So keeping picking away, keep building well, and see what happens!
