  1. At the start of S75, I didn't think the Las Vegas Aces would be contenders this season. We had our whole first line, starting goalie, and best defenceman leave us for the VHL, so I thought we would be hurting enough from those losses to not do very well. But no, that was not the case, as we are now seeing in the standings after ten games of the regular season. The Aces are currently 7-2-1, an incredible record that has them in first place in the Western Conference. Some notable performances have been those of Angel Wachiure, who the Aces picked up in the 6th round, who has 13 points in 10 games. Connor Sim, a player that was added in the S74 draft, is also at 13 points. Finally, our captain and leading defenceman Matt Thunder has been fantastic, with 11 points in those games. An honorable mention goes out to Matthew A Sovick Jr., who has been a brick wall behind the Aces posting an .899 save percentage and a 2.46 goals against average, which is very good for a high scoring league such as the VHLM. Keeping this hot start in mind, I think we can predict a deep playoff run for the Aces this season, the second in two years. 215 words

  4. 1. Nah, if we're active, we would've noticed. This is actually a good activity test 2. It seems as though the sim gods are shining upon Riga early. If we keep up the good luck, I think we can contend 3. Yeah, it increases our chances for sure. 4. I don't know. At least discord is working 5. Gino or Rocket probably since they're high scoring forwards 6. Not really. Maybe some special food, but nothing much 7. Christmas, no doubt. Better food and sometimes you get stuff 8. Neither. Hate both of them, pickles taste like slimy trash and I hate spicy food 9. Nah, I don't enjoy watching basketball. I heard the Lakers won, but that's about it

  11. 1. Yeah, it'll be fun to get some more ice and to play with the rookies. 2. San Diego looks strong, I don't doubt that they'll be a contender 3. I try do do these things every week: media spot, pressers, reviewing, vhl.com article, the works. Trivia comes in sometimes too, you know 4. I hope 50, I think 40. 5. I think it's great because we can sign as many guys as we want, and they will get tons of points in the Juniors 6. I went to this one public school that had urinals that went down to the ground. And we were allowed to use them in grade 1. So here were a lot of kids who had only ever used toilets and were given these urinals that went down to the floor. So can you guess what happened? A kid would have to take a piss, so he would go to the bathroom. He would usually go for the toilet stalls, but those were overflowing with shit and never cleaned. So he would have to use the urinals. So, he would do what lots of six year olds did at the time: pulled his pants all the way down to the floor, and pissed into the urinal. I can't count on all my fingers the amount of times I walked into the bathroom to take a piss and was mooned by these innocent little first graders. It was hilarious.
  12. That’s fair, thanks for the follow feedback
  13. It's been a long road this offseason for Linus Zetterstrom. Getting bounced from the playoffs in the second round stung a lot, but getting drafted in the second round by the Riga Reign more than made up for it. This upcoming season, which I believe starts on Wednesday, Zetterstrom will be back on his beloved VHLM team, the Las Vegas Aces, and he will be surrounded by familiar faces. A new team of largely first gen Aces will be on the ice next season. After studying his stat sheet this offseason, Zetterstrom concluded that he needed more offense in his game. He's been constantly working on that facet of his game, and it's slowly gotten much better. His passing is now at 77 TPE, a large amount for the VHLM level, and his scoring is at 60 TPE, which is okay but obviously needs improvement. The main part of his game, his play in the defensive zone, has really come along since his days playing minor hockey in Sweden. It is at 82 TPE, which is high for 200 TPE total, which he is at. The only downside of focusing on sole attributes is that some start to lag away from tip top shape. For example, Zetterstrom's skating, at 65 TPE, used to be a force on the ice for him. But now, it's still at 65 TPE, so it has lagged behind some of the other attributes Linus is focusing on. His puck handling has also improved a lot, going from lowly and unimportant to a strength at 67 TPE. He has also put some muscle on in his time off this summer, gaining a few pounds and increasing his strength to 50 TPE. Not a bad offseason for a first gen rookie. 294 words
  14. Review: I like how you looked at every position, and the depth they have there. Nice paragraphs, only thing I would've changed is maybe make the subtitles bold or bigger or something. Other than that, great content. 8/10
  15. Review: There's come great content here, lots of varied questions and even more varied answers. I love the way you used bold, italic, and coloured text to it's easy to read. Nice short paragraphs, and a pretty good article overall 9/10
