  1. Really like these 3-1 games against Toronto apparently. Second line coming in super clutch
  2. First goal and first win in Davos. Hopefully first of many
  3. I'll take the five points and the first star in the gold medal game. Happy to get another gold
  4. Davos -- The newest HC Davos Dynamo winger will be arriving with a bit of hardware: former Seattle Bears forward Gabriel McAllister has been named the league's MVP for its 60th season. Leading all other players by 7 goals and 11 points, McAllister won 7 of the 8 total votes for the Scotty Campbell Trophy, his first in five seasons in the VHL. "I'm not going to lie, this was a goal of mine heading into the league, and I'm glad to have achieved it," McAllister said on stage at the league's award ceremony. "It means a lot to be awarded for my work, and I'd like to thank my Seattle teammates and coaches for helping me get there." In addition to MVP, McAllister also won the Most Outstanding Player, Most Goals, and Most Points awards. Added to his previous Rookie of the Year (S56), Top Two-Way Forward (S58), and Playoff MVP (S59) trophies, the forward now has seven individual VHL awards. He also won Playoff MVP twice in the VHLM. Now, it's a new challenge for McAllister, as he'll look to repeat with a younger Davos squad. For his part, McAllister thinks he can win MVP once again. "I've started to get older, sure, but why not? I still have something to prove, and I have a good three seasons left to get this done."
  5. I totally missed this until Knight liked my original post, but yoooooooo. Did not realize you were here also, what's up?
  6. Hell yeah! V2A coming up huge again
  7. Moved to Calgary so I can update, you all can handle cap stuff
  8. Got a cup and a lot of points, not a half bad career
  9. He's actually retired now since VHL players can only play a max of 8 seasons, so will need to pick someone different. Sorry about that.
  10. Thank you all for the votes! Wanted McAllister to be an offensive powerhouse from the start, and glad he finally had a season where that actually happened.
  11. I think it's interesting that not many people had Sterling going 1 or 2 in their mocks for that exact positional need reason. Especially given Quebec's young talent elsewhere and Seattle needing everything, I'd actually be a bit surprised if he falls to 4 where most have him.
  12. I'm in, with the caveat that I'm moving for sorry if I'm a bit delayed.
