I guess it happened. A flu really came in. Not much intro in this one. Also, nothing different. For the last half of the year I'm doing nothing more than just ''scrambling for 500 words for 6 TPE'' media and nothing is going to change now. - So first of all, why in the blue hell everyone are acting surprised about expansion teams being on top? I mean, I'm the one who is blaming the sim engine all the time on Kallis' inconsistency. But I'm not sure if being shocked by the recent results (Prague in particular) is the right reaction. How many times we already saw this sim engine gassing up mid-tier teams at the start of the season? This definitely isn't the first season the same exact situation is happening. Prague and DC will eventually miss the playoffs (ok DC might, just might have an outside chance, but I don't even think they're better than NY tbh). But I don't think these both teams will fall until the mid-season. - Riga is 3-5 with a backup goalie. Considering that his attributes are even worse than bot, it's a decent result. I'm sure we're going to turn around soon. It still might be a slow process because more than one reason. First of all, gotta shoot the puck more. Our offense actually is doing fine, with 4 players being over 1 PPG and Tate with 8 points. Just gotta produce more chances imo. Second reason - you all know who. - Speaking about Tate. That's pretty interesting. I was expecting Hackett to be the scoring leader before the season started. Instead, it's the former first overall pick that is taking the scoring D reigns. He already has 4 powerplay points too. I guess @Tate knew when he was asking me to put him at PP lines in his podcast. While it might be surprising, there is probably one reason why he has more points than Apollo. His gap between passing and scoring is less than Reno so this might do it. - I brought Shane Mars in. He had a good potential, but Spade had to go inactive. Oh well. Imagine if he was still here and never added a single TPE to passing. Perhaps we would've had the second coming of John Locke. This is the reason why I've decided to ask Eno for claming him and making an immediate trade. I hope he would produce more chance with his full-on-shooting build. Don't think I would give him much playing time cause all of others one are active, but some he's gonna get some PP time. - Also, Jack Lynch is doing well too. Before making tha trade with Malmo, I saw they put Jack to the OTB. So I figured it out I'll take him and decide what to do. I liked his build so I kept him. I'm just hoping I'm not jynxing anybody in this article. Cause so far he's doing a great job for a player who is not getting full playing time. Enough for today. I'm like being on the edge for the past two weeks. I guess the flu is bound to happen anyways, but when. Ugh. Back to VHL. We had some lil debate between Calgary, Seattle and Davos GM's. Guys don't like Bana and the minors commish is doing his iffy remarks all the time. A fun time to be in VHL. Randoms has started as a prolific goal scorer. Out of 6 points, only one is an assist. I do hope he could reach 100 points or somewhere close to it. If there's any perfect moment for that, this season it is. Finally he is getting full minutes and I even put some 99's to his build. He gotta perform. Although I'd prefer if he won't be distract Riga from being successful. But players could be MVP's even in a non contender teams so he can do his 100 points. And then doing nothing in playoffs. And I'm not feeling well. Here we go, ugh. 2 TPE to Randoms.

Get us trivia asap smh my head. The season has started and our team started pretty much meh. 1-3 in 4 games. McGee had a good game against Malmo, but was unable to save us in other three games. It may as well be a loss of interest. What a shame. Could've been a good piece for our future plans, but it isn't meant to happen. 4 more games and Cricket is going in. Moscow obviosly. from a non playoff team to a fully contender, I guess I don't have to say anything more after that. 2. As with #1, which team ended up the worst compared to their most recent season? Aside from obvious answer in Davos, Calgary doesn't looks like an improved team. Especially it offense. Helsinki is also falls under that category. They didn't become much worse, but neither improved much. 3. Jake Davis went to Malmo; Dan Wilinsky ended up on Seattle. Who's got a better chance of winning a title? Malmo/Davis. Davis is better than Wilinsky in scoring imo and that's gonna play a big part in potentially winning a title. 4. Okay, most of the off-season hype has died down. What's your hot take for this season? HHH as the most improved player. His career went uphill after getting traded to Vancouver so I'm expecting bigger numbers by him. Also, someone from Toronto/Vancouver spoiling the hyped Malmo-Seattle finals. I have a feeling that Seattle won't repeat this season. 5. Hypothetically, if you were a veteran on a VHL team, how would you haze rookies? Hypothetically. Which player needs to put the greatest number of doubters to rest this season? H[x3]. Everybody calling him a bust so he gotta step it up finally. 7. The All-Star game was played with a different sim with (sometimes literally) dozens of goals per game. Which version of the sim would you prefer to have? Both are fine. But I assume the visual part is what members would like more. 8. If you could bring one retired player back to the league in his prime, who would it be? S62 Podrick Cast. That was a fun moment. Imagine if we had a better defence and goalie. 9. Do you think TPE inflation is a problem in the league? Maybe? I don't feel that, but that could be a problem once this league is gonna have a tons of TPE whores. 10. How will this season's draft class compare to the last few seasons'? Less deep. Still, some diamonds in the ruff there. And still a better draft than pretty much S50's and some of 40's as well.
