I don't think it makes any sense for a contending team to have a backup goalie as it takes up cap space and won't be played in the playoffs. If Kesler was still GM he would probably be all for you because he thinks regular season stats are the most important thing. I'm not saying this because I dislike the idea as I do think it's cool that you are going to only be a backup, but you likely will only play for rebuilding to average kinds of teams. Hope you have fun with it though, you always like the quirky things and I look forward to goalie sacking you!

I'm sorry to hear that. Sim leagues are supposed to be fun and if for some reason you aren't having fun then leave and do what you need to do. Hope you can get your life together. If you ever want to talk please pm me!

Over the past few years, I've been responsible for a lot of VHL happenings. I don't regret putting in lots of time as a VHLM Commish, GM and other spots, as this league is a great place and I'm glad I could help. However, these responsibilities are starting to wear on me. If I'm not checking in every day and posting in the locker room and encouraging my team, I feel as though I am letting my team down as a GM. I also then feel the pressure to make the right moves so the great guys on my team can win a cup, and feel the pressure to put tons of tpe into my player to help as best as possible. On the recruitment leader front, it's frustrating because I have put in a good amount of effort, but it's fruitless. I've spammed Twitch NHL 17 streams and youtube, and from all my spamming I've only ever gotten 1 person (Daniel). I feel as though I've let the VHL down on the recruitment front. Also twitter ads are dumb because apparently my vhl ad violated their code of conduct somehow. I sent an email asking what was wrong, all all they replied was saying i broke the rules and check the rulebook which means they are dumb and Draper should win MVP
