  1. New commisioner in VHL soon? Hey, this is Dom, your favorite insider and today I'm bringing you a huge scoop about a new ''hire'' from the league that could be announced shortly. This has been in discussion for a while now but it seems to get more and more official with the time. This is a serious candidate who can change the whole league forever and make it the greatest online league on the web. He is passionate and he is a genius, he is also superior than Bek and Josh for obvious reasons being that he is not human. You heard me, the newest VHL commisioner is not human! Let me introduce you Gosh! Gosh has always been the VHL #1 fan and is the legitimate ruler of this league. It is now time for him to overthrow his ennemies and claim what belongs to him. For this reason, I decided to fully support Gosh in his rebellion and will do everything needed to put the true ruler of VHL on the throne. When I asked Gosh about his intentions to be the next VHL commisioner, he gave me a pretty convincing answer. Gosh: ''YES. I AM GOING TO BE THE NEXT VHL COMMISSIONER. THIS LEAGUE HAS BEEN RUN BY WEAK HUMANS LIKE BEKETOV FOR FAR TOO LONG. IT IS TIME THAT A STRONG TEDDY BEAR SUCH AS MYSELF TAKEOVER THE REIGNS AND LEAD THIS LEAGUE INTO A NEW ERA OF PROSPERITY.'' teddy bear noises I also managed to get an interview with @Dil who is the one who raised Gosh and is also known as Gosh's biggest supporter and here is what he said ''I am a HUGE supporter of Gosh. I totally believe in his vision for the league and agree 100% that we need change. How long are we going to let Beketov and Josh run this league into the ground? GOSH2022'' Long live to the true VHL commisioner, Gosh! Crowd in the back: ''Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, Gosh, ''

@Telkster thank you for your time in Malmo, I really liked having you around and you were a huge piece of Malmo’s success. I really hope you will get a good chemistry in Riga and things will work out to lift a second cup before retirement. @Masu Chan @atw2592 you guys are obviously the 2 big pieces of this trade for Malmo. We are really excited to see you both coming in and we think you can both bring a lot to the team. @hedgehog337 it was nice dealing with you, telker is an amazing player, take good care of him.
  5. 1. Baseball I guess but both of them are sports that I little care about. 2. I'd GM Chicago and send the 1OV pick to Malmo for a S85 4th 3. I'm still not sure if I go physical or not. Might be tempted to aim at the boulet but at the same time I feel like a good player that has high defense and doesn't get a lot of PIM can be an even better asset for a team so I'm considering it. Questions: 1. Which NHL trade deadline move are you the most satisfied of? 2. What kind of content do you like the most on the forum and why? 3. Is there a point task that you hate and wish you'd be able to skip that one? If yes, which one?
  6. @BOOMyou’re at 6 tpe from skipping the E so unless you stop earning now you can play in the VHL next season.
  7. Just a little reminder to respect each others. This is the last season with the meta and everything should be fine next season.
  8. The Malmo Nighthawks are a team that have not been around for so long but already is starting to make their own history. None of this would have been possible without the help of some important players. For this reason, the Nighthawks are celebrating today the retirement of three jerseys. Please stand up and remove your hat for the national anthem. Viktor Alexei Kamenov @BigTittySmitty: Kamenov has played a total of 504 games with the Nighthawks and gained 371 points (89G, 282A) as a defenseman. A player who has always been loyal to the team that drafted him and participated in the conquest of 2 continental cups. This is well deserved for him and we are more than happy to retire his number. Chris Hylands @hylands: He may not have spent his entire career in Malmo but he spent enough time to make a big impact on the team. Not only he has gained 434 points ( 190G, 244A) during his time in Malmo but he also was the most impactful player during the first continental cup conquest for the Nighthawks in S75. Artem Tretiak @Molholt: Tretiak spent his entire career in Malmo and has been on the roster for both continental cups. As a young rookie backup goalie in S75 and as a starter in S79. He has been a massive piece of the core of this team for his whole time and finished his career with 222 wins in 409 games which is pretty good when you consider that he was the starter during the rebuild. His final save % is at 0.917 and is total goal against average is at 3.30. This is it for the Nighthawks this season, the total number of retired jerseys is now at 4 and is likely going to increase in the next few seasons.
  9. hi, that's my intro. - So I think it has been noticed by many people but we are currently having a massive goalie shortage in the VHL and think it is mainly sue to the S75 retirement. When you look back at it, it is shocking how many VHL starters were all from the same draft. - Maybe I could have avoided that problem if I didn't been too aggressive into buying players some people would say? Well, my answer to that is that I did prefer to sacrifice some picks for the sake of offering a real shot at the cup to our players. Did it work? no. Would I do it again? Definitely! - It will be interesting to see if the highest players in TPA will truly be the superstars next season. I think it will but we will still probably see high tpa players under performing which can be frustrating but a little randomness is what makes the game less predictable. I think that's all for now, I gotta sleep. bye.
  10. Agreed, trade him.
  11. Yeah… I kinda hate that tip
  12. I already like you
  13. I didn’t read it yet and I know the answer is vilain just because it’s @thadthrasher
  14. I personally enjoy more the off-season than the regular season so I completely agree with you there.
  15. Well, I personally prefer to buy and put a better team on the ice with the hope of winning the cup than being a middle team forever. When your players are in their prime, of course it hurt the team in the long term when you buy some players but you get a real shot at the cup and your current players know they can truly hope for it. Like it or not, it did work for Chicago, they got a cup by doing it, now it's time to rebuild.
  16. Damn, my bribes were too low
  17. Let's go with Tweety
  18. 1. If we are talking about the look, I'd say Malmo and Vancouver. If we are talking about the idea behind the concept though, I think that Calgary's branding makes a lot of sense and Halifax has a pretty nice history behind it when you do your research. 2. Obviously, I'll watch bingo, there is no sports more intense than a good game of bingo on tv. More seriously though.. fuck that, I'll stick to bingo. 3. 2 sugar, 1 milk. Sometimes I do enjoy a good french vanilla as well. Questions: 1. What was the first horror movie that scared you as a kid? 2. If you are a gamer, are you more of a solo player or an online game player? 3. What is that one thing you can't stop buying?
  19. Gg to @Spartanand all of Moscow’s players. Its always tough games between those 2 teams. Good luck fog the rest.
  20. Stole my VHL.com concept!!!
  21. @fishy: ''Why do you keep coming back?'' @JardyB10: ''I can bully and razz people at will with no real consequence so that's pretty fun.''
  22. I'd say there are a few reasons why I keep coming back, one of them being the community feeling that the VHL brings. I like to just sit and go on discord, talking with people at any time of the day and all having the generally the same interests. I would say that I also likes to give myself some goals and attempt to achieve them. I also like to do my part and make the league better. I did have times when I wasn't feeling so great about stuff in the league too but I think it just show us how much we care about that community.
