  1. CHIKN! I am very excited to be working along side you in New York this upcoming season. I hope you make my job much easier! I like your graphic here. It's tough to get good action pictures of players that aren't too blurry, but I would try to look around a bit more for less blurry players to use, though I love her intensity! I think your cut is nice, and the signature over her head looks good. Besides red, blue and white are the primary colors. It looks like the background is supposed to resemble the American flag? If so, I would change the black stripes to white and the square behind your player to blue. In one way it shows American pride, and if you moved your player more into the square it would be like she was the "star." Well done! 8/10
  2. With a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Media, I am overly excited to see the camera directions and indications on here. I think this was set up incredibly well to look and sound like an actual on-air interview. It's creative, and I haven't seen it before. It's well-written, engaging, and was a blast to read! Well done! 10/10
  3. You sound like my wife, saying I said things I didn't....
  4. 1) I think the Marlins had a good season, but this season will be even BETTER! 2) It would be cool if near the end of the off season I hit 400 TPE! 3) Sup you big hunk! 4) Oh man.... this one is tough. I'll always be a fan of KFC, but Popeyes has a great chicken sandwich. 5) I liked how active he was with his players and how much he engaged with others. I feel honored to follow the legacy that IR established in San Diego. 6) I'm not really sure, I suppose I'm waiting to find out! @LuluSalesAway
  5. Following is a Press Release from the San Diego Marlins General Manager, Thadius Sales: I would like to thank everyone for their continued support through the transitions we are having here in San Diego. With many of our players moving up to the majors, and some having to be released for the draft, we are certainly going through a lot of changes. Among those changes is the acquisition of not only myself as the General Manager, but also a new Assistant General Manager. When the position was opened and made public we received applications right away. After having about a dozen cross my desk I realized that almost every one of them were qualified for this position. This was a tough call. To those who were not selected, we thank you for your willingness to work for San Diego, and have no doubt that a role will be yours soon around the league. But, with that being said, after much deliberation, consideration, and consultation with others around the league, we have decided to add @Prout to the team as our new Assistant General Manager. --- Claiming week ending Jan 17, 184 words
  6. I'm trying to find me an AGM if anyone is interested...
  7. The AGM position in San Diego is open for applications! I'm looking for someone who is active both on forum and discord, is willing to do weekly press conferences, and will encourage new people and help them learn about the league. Send me a message on here or in discord (xTHADTHRASHERx#6217) that explains why you'd be a good AGM and I'll respond with some questions. I'll try to make a decision on or around Monday, but since I'm taking an intensive class and learning Hebrew I may be a little slower lol!
  8. I may be able to record something tomorrow...
  9. Thanks, dude! I am so incredibly excited for this.
  10. Playoff hockey is always exciting. The crowds grow larger and louder, locker room tensions grow, and play on the ice just seems so much more intricate and precise. However, only one team can come out happy during playoffs, and for S75 the happy team is the Philadelphia Reapers, under the management of @DMaximus and @dariusmarimotoman. As playoffs begin, and teams begin being eliminated, changes start coming. As S75 closes out, a major announcement came out from VHLM Commissioners: 10 seasons ago the San Diego Marlins named their first General Manager, @InstantRockstar. We have come to announce that @InstantRockstar has officially stepped down from his position. This news certainly came as quite a shock, but we were equally shocked and excited to learn that a relatively new face in the VHL was taking the reigns in San Diego, @thadthrasher Again, we extend congratulations to Thadius Sales and wish him luck in San Diego! -------------- 281 words, claiming week ending Jan 01.
  11. I'd like to thank everyone who thought that I was a good decision for this position, it's incredible. If you would have told me 3 months ago when I came into this league that I would be the GM of a team by now I would have asked you, "what's TPE?" I'm very excited for this opportunity and I am looking forward to many seasons of success and good times in San Diego! I'd like to reflect @Zetterberg's appreciation of @Ricer13 as well. While there are SO MANY wonderful people in this league, Ricer has been a solid dude and super supportive. I am looking forward to working with my fellow VHLM GM's and learning and growing!
  12. I may have to steal this line... You took the words right out of my mouth
  13. This is awesome, and exactly what is needed! USA! USA! USA!
  14. I think this is a great graphic! The idea of what you are trying to do is awesome, and it pairs nicely with the title you gave it. I really like the tear in the middle between the two logos, and how the colors of the two logos are both lighter. The skater you used is a bit blurry, but you do what you can with what you have! Overall, I think it's great! 9/10
  15. I think this is very well written! It's informative, not too long, and gets to the point of what you are trying to say. I think you make some great, practical, and doable suggestions. Well done! 10/10
  16. Team USA just announced their roster selection...

  17. As with anything that America does, please stand for THE National Anthem! Now that your hearts have been warmed by the sweet melody of freedom look below to see Team USA's Roster Selection As the S75 Playoffs are nearing the end of its course many are left wondering, "what's next?" Well, there is no need to look any further! As we wrap up the S75 Playoffs the World Junior Championship goes into full-swing! Many in the VHLM are watching and waiting, hoping to have their name called and to be placed on the most elite WJC team there is, Team USA! The list of candidates that @Banackock and I worked through was impressive, and no other team compares to the powerhouse that is Team USA! Only a few short hours ago @fromtheinside released the roster for Team Cana-duh. Really, it's quite adorable that they or anyone else really thinks they have a chance against the greatest country in the world. While Team Cana-duh apologizes to the puck for hitting it to hard, Team USA is ready to apologize for NOTHING. While the rest of the WJC General Managers prepare to announce their respective rosters, we all know that everyone only truly cares about the roster for Team USA. You've asked, and now you will receive. FORWARD Momentum! The forwards that we have selected are among the best in the league. These players are active, competative , and proud to be Americans. They will not let anything get in their way of putting up massive points, turning goalies into Swiss cheese, and making those opposing defenders look foolish! Combined, these players amassed a whopping 267 goals, 377 assists during their S75 games. On top of that they delivered over 1000 hits (1102 to be exact) and even blocked 159 shots. These players are fast moving, goal scoring, body dropping hockey stars. With that in mind, Team USA is proud to welcome the following players to the S75 WJC Team USA Roster: Addison McLaren @tcookie Justin Lose @youloser1337 Its Gucci @frescoelmo Red Lite @Tate Vick Fairchild @GreenGato Hex Rose @Hex Universe Carson Walkers @Cwalker John Callahan Jr @Callahan Jakob Sosa @TMGSosa Honorable DEFENDERS! Victory cannot occur if there is not a solid line of defenders. These players sacrifice everything to make sure shots are blocked and players are stopped. We are confident that they will challenge any forward coming into our zone, and keep pressure moving forward. These four defenders are incredibly impressive. One of them alone blocked more shots than the 9 forwards above combined. Combined, these players earned 56 goals and dished up 144 assists. They made sure to lay out another skater 504 times, and together they blocked 408 shots. With numbers like these any opposing offense will be shaking in their skates. With that in mind, Team USA is proud to welcome the following players to the S75 WJC Team USA Roster: Muffbeav @.sniffuM Jolly Greene Giant @DoktorFunk Tee Pee E II @Goliathus Bob Tristan @N0HBDY Puck-Stopping GOALIES The goaltenders selected to play for Team USA are incredible athletes and highly skilled at what they do. For S75 they won 85 games, lost 37, and grabbed 6 shutouts. On top of that, these goalies faced over 3000 shots and barely let in 10% of them. These two clocked a massive 7791 minutes played this season, which amounts to nearly 130 hours of ice time. Team USA is proud to welcome the following players to the S75 WJC Team USA Roster: Markus Emerson Jr@Xflexz Thadius Sales @thadthrasher For those who are preparing to face us on the ice we wish you a speedy recovery. The United States and the entire World is prepared to join together with one voice as Team USA wins the gold this year... You know what they say... USA Hockey is Do or Die!
  18. 1. 32! It's just always been the number I've gone with for just about anything. 2. Obviously the rookie Goaltender, Thadius Sales...jk. Someone should though! 3. Come out with above a .895 SV% 4. Right now, Ledge and Dairy @Ledge_and_Dairy. Off the top of my head that I'm not sure if it exists or not... Michael Scarn 5. There is only one possible answer, USA beats FINLAND! 6. Hmm, honestly, all? I often find myself desiring a certain soda at any given time. I don't really have a favorite, but sometimes a Coke sounds great, and others a Sprite sounds better.
  19. 1. I'm disappointed. But, only one team can come out happy. 2. I was only here for a little bit, but I've enjoyed my time in Vegas. I think you both do a good job leading the team. 3. Maybe a bit of Defense? I'm not sure. 4. Meh, New York Americans all the way! 5. It can't be much worse than 2020 lol 6. I haven't really been around long enough to see his tenure, only for one season. I wish him luck!
  20. I am grateful to anyone and everyone who felt that they could nominate me for such an honor. I wish luck to everyone else who was nominated. I've missed you all!
