It was not the result that the Ottawa Lynx were looking for in their first 2 games. An opening 8-2 loss to the Reapers and then followed that up with 7-4 loss to the Halifax 21st. But it was many firsts for many young players on the Ottawa team. Including 6th round draft pick Josho. Earlier in the season we asked Josho what his expectations were for the upcoming season and he said " I hope I can do every part for my team to be successful and win games". That definitely wasn't the case in game number 1 against the Reapers. The entire Ottawa team looked lost against one of the top teams in the league and Josho did struggle through most parts of the first game.

With a minus 4 rating and no points scored it was not the game that Josho was hoping for but he did play 25 minutes during the game which shows that the team does have confidence in what he can do. When asked about his performance he said " For sure I was nervous at first but as the game went on I really thought that I was hitting my stride late in the 3rd period but at that point it was to late obviously".  Josho gave his team mates praise for the game they played and not giving up even when being down by so much. But game 2 for the team as a whole was much better especially for Josho.

Game 2 was much closer for sure with a score of 7-4 and Josho was the best player for the Lynx that game hands down. with 2 goals and 3 points Josho really showed his true potential and what he can do in this league on any given night, he also logged 26 minutes of ice time just a minute more than the first game. Speaking with Josho he was very happy in the effort the entire team put it. When asked if he was happy to score his first goals and points of the season he said " Well of course I was happy to score my first goal but I am not worried about that right now, I am just worried about with getting back to practice working with the group and coming out even stronger next game. It is all about this team to me and I was really proud of the group and what we were able to do out there". 
 
This Ottawa team is going to have some growing pains for sure because of how young of a group they are but they will be an exciting team to watch for sure. They take to the ice for the next game tomorrow 7ET against the Miami be sure to check out this great young team!

Awesome work for your first! I like the contrasting black and yellow text, it makes this graphic pop out. I like the logo on the jersey. I think there are some things I would tweak but for your first graphic here this is exciting stuff. This is a great start with graphics and I’m looking forward to seeing what else you produce!

Like I did with the Ohio Railers, I took a stab at making another expansion team for a future VHL/VHLM expansion! I took some influences from teams that I created on my playstation through the EA NHL games and if this is a hit I'll slowly add in more from my arsenal. Or not, who knows 🙃

Hailing from the Rocky Mountains, this team is named after the second largest gold rush in the area that helped to create the Colorado Territory in the mid 1800s. Using the slogan As Good As Gold, this team is ready to excel in every aspect of the game while creating a unique environment within the arena for fans of all ages!

Josho learned how to be the great hockey player he is today growing up in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. He grew up only skating at Upper Island Lake on the frozen water. He only played with his 2 brothers for the start of his hockey career. He did not play in an actual league until he was 14. But that never seemed to bother him as soon as he starting play in the SMHA league in Sault Ste Marie.
 
Josho started playing in the SMHA at the age of 14. He would go onto play 3 seasons in the league amassing an incredible. 200 pts in 150 career games in the SMHA. Including 100 goals. He won MVP of the league 3 years in a row. The first win MVP in his rookie season since 1995. 
 
Josho possesses poise and skill. His skating really makes him standout amount other players. His physical game could be improved but his defensive game is very sound.
 
Josho has yet to be drafted to the VHLM but is draft eligible for S76 draft. He is projected to go middle of the pack but I believe that he could be a big steal in the draft and could have instant success on whatever team drafts him.

With the upcoming draft just around the corner I thought it would be time to talk about one the best picks available; Joshothegreat. Josho is for sure the fastest player in this draft class and his hands are pretty good too, this guy just knows how to score goals and make everyone around him so much better.  I was able to spend some time this off season watching him train in Sault Ste Marie and i was blown away by the skill set that he has and blown away with how hard he works everyday to be the best. In my opinion whatever team selects Josho is going to be very happy in the player and person that they get.  I can assure anyone that this player is the real deal and whatever team does select him are going to be going on long championship runs for years to come because this guy is a winner!

This is AMAZING ! Great work for you 1st Graphic ! with little to zero guidance ! Great work Josh-O ! The font is amazing i really really like the way you made it pop and an interesting but appealing color contrast that i find extremely aesthetically pleasing The Watermark is your biggest flaw by far , next time make sure to use an image that isnt copyrighted with a watermark, even removing a watermark is considered disrespectful even if that wasnt the intention , it is. So avoid watermarks like the Canvas one here . Other wise i love the Logo choice obviously the colours look great the actual player pic is a great shot with the shadowing it looks for a great pre draft Graphic ! My advice : Next time use a VHL/VHLM related Logo, maybe try a graphic that involves you formatting the team8/9your drafted to and there Logo which can be found on google just seach png the team name and try and do a logo swap, this is NOT easy, but i think you can do  it
