1. Please welcome our new GM @16z! What do you think of the moves made by the Lynx in the draft, and if you're new, what do you want to accomplish in Ottawa?

I think the moves made worked for Ottawa and we need that moving forward as last season wasn’t what we wanted and we need to add as much talent as possible to build on in future. I know I won’t be here most likely but I think Ottawa has a great future in the VHLM.

2. Congrats to all the players who recently got drafted! What do you think of the team, the city, and the people you met there? If you have not yet been drafted, any preference? North America or Europe? Any specific team? I wasn’t recently drafted but I’m still a prospect for Vancouver but I think I will have fit for if or when I got to the VHL.

3. What would you rather, potentially: a captain's vote or picked by management? A captain’s vote.

4. How far do we go this season? How many points do you hit individually, or for Parise, what do you hope your stats will be? I think we can be a playoff team if the cards play that way. I don’t have a good estimate for points but I think I will have maybe 40 points.

5. NHL Expansion Draft is tomorrow! Any guesses as to who gets drafted by Seattle? Do they take Carey Price? They don’t take Carey, Ron Francis would be a goof to take that cap hit for a new team. I think I have a good idea for selections but you never know in the nhl.

6. Best song of all time? Bohemian Rhapsody.

7. For the newer players, what's your favorite NHL team? Favorite player? Or, if you don't watch the league, any other leagues/sports that interest you?

What have you been doing? 

 

Not much just thinking of how next season will go with the new league being added and how much I can improve.

2. What position would your next player be (if you were to make one)? 

 

Probably a defenseman as I haven’t done one yet.

Eggs for sure

I don’t think I really modeled my game after anyone I just try to be unique.

5. Canadiens or Lightning? Who do you think will win?

I want to say Canadiens but the lightning have been on a tear so I can really bet against them
6. What is a hobby of yours?

Bowling

7. Anything fun you’ve done recently? 
Not really, the weather has really not allowed for me to do much.

1. The off-season has finally begun, and with that we won't have much action for awhile. With the season ending, how did you find it went? Did your player live up to your expectations?

I feel it went well for being my first season and all. For the team’s sake I think we had a battle of a season and just toward the end the games didn’t go our way.

2. Thankfully, even though it means our season is over, the off-season does bring a few fun things including separate tournaments like the Worlds tournament and the World Juniors. Are you looking forward to these/interested in these?

I am looking forward to see how both go and how I might be possibly involved.

3. With next season being our true test of our capabilities and with a core finally built with some big names like @Émile Clouet, @JB123, and @hockeyis66 to name a few, I would love to bring back the captaincy and alternate captaincy. Would you rather have a team vote, or would you rather another way for it to be done (i.e. Management Pick, Random Wheel, etc.)?

I think a team vote would be cool to support each other’s leadership qualities toward the team and how they affect everyone in the rush.

4. If you could give a 'Rush MVP' award to a single player on our team this season, who would it be and why?

For sure Alex Johnston he was a beast for us this season and helped us get better and better toward the playoffs but sadly it didn’t go our way.

5. Mexico recently re-branded themselves with a new logo, and it had me thinking, are you a fan of the Yukon Rush logo? If not, what would you have it changed to look like?

I am a fan I think the colors could be a little different but it’s alright. I don’t think a change needs to be made.

6. Controversial Opinion: White chocolate is the best type of chocolate. Do you agree or disagree?  
 

Disagree I think milk chocolate is the best.

My Thoughts on my play this season.

 

I made my debut this year and I feel and my rookie year hasn’t been the greatest it could have been but I could have been better. For example I don't have very high offensive capability as many of my teammates on the Yukon Rush do but my impact is on the defensive side of things. I have made an impact by not allowing as many goals that would have been scored as would have as I have only posted a -5 on our struggling Yukon Rush team on a bad stretch this season. I hope we can turn this around as to cap off my rookie season. It would be great to have a playoff run but we would have to kick it into high gear in order to make the playoffs and to finish this season off strong. I liked talking about my experience this season on the Yukon Rush and I want to keep break our cold streak and get back into our offensive and winning ways and make my rookie season even better.

1. The war has ended with San Diego with them being victorious. Thus, that means I will have to get pied in the face on video and post it to the VHL. Any suggestions on what should be the bet for next year's war with the Marlins?

Definitely should be having to do the ice bucket challenge and bring the memories of that back to existence.

2. It seems like the playoffs are going to be a long shot for us to make it, unless we go on a tear in the last stretch. How likely do you think it'll be for us to make it, and are you disappointed if we end up missing?

This is sad to say but the playoffs seem out of our reach and that the trading of the great our team would really need to turn this season around.

3. The trade deadline is about to end, and unless there are any last minute moves, Yukon isn't going to be making any further moves. However, we did make a pretty huge trade by sending our best forward TPE wise who go up to the VHL next season for another player who should be here for next year and a mid-pick. What do you think about this trade?

It was needed as we most likely are out of the playoffs and the great can have a good run before moving to the VHL and having success there and can end his VHLM career on a high note.

4. Speaking about getting pied to the face, what is the most embarassing thing that's happened to you in public?

Probably getting tripped and falling in front of people then people look at you weird then you just have to shake it off.

5. The lockdown is finally starting to get slowly lifted here in Hungary, how is it currently where you are? Is your city shut-down currently?

Currently we are doing alright as we no longer have a county wide mandate in place. No we are not currently shut down.

6. @fromtheinsideis currently teaching me about the lovely sport of baseball and showing me how cool it is to get touchdowns in MLB: The Show. Do you have any other favourite sports you watch or play besides hockey?

I watch football sometimes whenever hockey isn’t on and so I can have something else to do and sometimes I like to go bowling with friends and family and it can be a good bonding moment.

1. The team is finally starting to fully fill up, as we now have several more defenseman, 3 full forward lines, and 2 goalies. However, we are getting closer to the end of the season. Do you think we still have it in the tank to make a final playoff push?

With more players and more lines to keep players nice and fresh we can make the playoffs if we put in the work and try our hardest and play our hearts out we can get these wins and make the postseason.

2. The draft is slowly approaching us. (For the undrafted players) Are you excited for the draft? Have any teams approached you with interviews as of yet? (For the drafted players) How prepped are you to eventually make it to the VHL?

I have not been drafted as I’m quite new and I am quite pumped to see how it plays out as I haven’t got any interviews yet I kinda don’t expect that to change but I have high hopes that I can produce at both ends and play a better game.

3. The seasonal theme week has come out! Do you have any plans on participating for that sweet, sweet extra TPE?

I might try but I really don’t know what I would do as I’m still new and getting the hang of things but I might try.

4. What is your go-to ice cream flavour?

Probably mint chocolate chip

5. What is your hometown most known for?

The closest thing of reference we have is the Gateway Arch.

6. The NHL Trade Deadline just passed the other day, did your favourite team make any trades before it ended? And if so, how did you feel they made out?
 

Absolutely not and I feel as the probably should of but I don’t know what is going through their heads.

1. We're currently sitting at 5th in the Western Conference, slowly trailing San Diego (with their awful manager @thadthrasher at the helm) for 4th and a playoff spot. It seems out main problem is keeping the puck out of the net compared to putting them in the net. Would you prefer to keep the offensive approach, or try to switch to a more defense orientated tactics?

Probably more defensive as our offense isn’t really a problem at the moment we just need more d-men to support the back end.

2. We've recently declared war on the San Diego Marlins for their sinister acts of...existing. We are currently at 0 to 1 in our season series against them out of 7. How are you contributing to the war effort and what words do you have for the Mar-lames?

We need to beat them and get out of our way because the playoffs are ours.

3. More Assistant GM jobs are slowly starting to open up, do you see yourself wanting to be an AGM (or even a GM) in the VHL?

Not really yet because I’m still new as and getting the hang of things and I need to be a great player before I become an AGM.

4. How was your Easter Weekend (if you celebrated it)?

Good I got to see people I haven’t seen it a bit because of the virus going around.

5. What is your favourite dessert?

Probably ice cream or cherry pie.

6. Do you have a go-to song for your player when he snipes a goal? If so, feel free to share!

 1) The Rush recently traded away league leader in scoring Gaspar Zakrevsky. They traded him for a forward, a defenseman and a 3rd round draft pick. How did you feel about this trade being made?

I feel we need more depth players so not a bad move from the front office to get a deal done.

2) Yukon currently sits at 6-10-0 about a quarter of the way through the season.  Do you think we have a chance to squeak into the playoffs this season, why or why not?

I feel like we can with the core of players that we have and the staff to push us there

3) What goals do you have for your player this season. Do you have a certain number of goals/assists/points you're hoping to reach. Also TPE are you hoping to hit by the end of the season?

My goals are to learn the game and to have at least 75 TPE.

4) [For VHL Drafted Players] What team are you drafted to in the VHL and have you been keeping up with how they've been doing so far? Are you excited to play for them potentially next season? [For Non-Drafted Players] Are you excited about being taken in the VHL Draft this upcoming offseason? What team or teams are you hoping to be taken by?

YES! I really don’t have a team that I want to take me I will be a reliable asset to any team willing to take a chance.

5) How have you enjoyed your time so far on the Yukon Rush? Is there anything the management can do to make your experience more enjoyable here?

Yes it has been welcoming and they do an awesome job and I have no critique.

6) The NHL season is over the halfway point. Do you have a favourite team or player? If so how are they doing this season? If not, do you follow any other teams or sports that are non-hockey related?
