Darth Kaprizov got a reaction from TownBizness in S78 WJC - TEAM WORLD - Roster & Jersey Reveal - It's On!
Hello there…. I’m Darth Kaprizov Sr., I’m glad you could join us.

The S78 WJC's are right around the corner.  With that being said, the excitement around this years squad is thru the roof.  A few things, I’d like you to think about before we begin:  For the fans, maybe you’ve rooted for other countries in the past, IF you will not root for TEAM WORLD this time, perhaps your sister will.  For our opposition, with the offensive talent on TEAM WORLD, it would be unwise for you to lower defenses at any point during the games.  In conclusion, for anyone unaware, you simply don’t know the power of TEAM WORLD!

As the S78 WJC GM for TEAM WORLD, I am more than honored to announce this seasons roster, or as I like to call it, the Stud Farm.  Let me begin by introducing:

From hockey hotbed, Greenland comes a young man who has been lightning in a bottle during his first Jr. Season averaging over 1pt per game during S78, please welcome:  LW – Jerome Reinhart  @MexicanCow123
From down unda where this winger would run thru the Outback with his skates on to use as a weapon against all of the crazy lizards chasing after him.  By doing so, he developed a savvy set of skills which helped propel him into the top 10 for total points this past season.  Be Aware of;  LW – Craig Martin  @Craig
From Nigeria, coming in at 6’8” and 250lbs, this mega man child plays a power forward game like no other as he puts fear into defensemen when he’s steaking down the ice on a forecheck;  LW – Kid Frost  @TownBizness
From North Macedonia comes a small center at 5’5” but is lightning fast with hands that match and can snipe a bumble bee out of mid air;  C – Alexander the Great  @Shiny
From Saint Helena is a quickly rising star with only one Jr. season under his belt has shown poise in the face off circle and has a nice scoring touch, fist bumps to;  C – Omi Aberg  @osens
From the jungles of Congo comes a gritty, high scoring prospect averaging nearly 1pt per game over 1.5 seasons in Jr’s (score goals or you will be grounded son);  C – Darth Kaprizov Jr.  @Darth Kaprizov Sr.
Another Greenland product, a point generating machine in S78, tallying 133 in the regular season and topped all scoring in the playoffs while leading the Yukon Rush to the VHLM Championship this season. Introducing the notorious;  RW – Tyler Reinhart  @Zetterberg
By way of Canada comes a positionally sound, fast skating forward with some tasty salad, give it up for the Big Red Machine;  RW – Mikey Markov  @JetsFan81
By way of USA comes a high scoring, tough S.O.B. who likes to mix it up in the corners while punishing his opponents, high fives to;  RW – Gary Tarantino II  @Garrett
From the beautiful islands of Fiji comes a stud defenseman who tallied 40 pts in his rookie VHL campaign and punched in another 7pts in 10 playoff games.  Expectations are high for this electrifying player, give it up for;  DEF – Tui Sova  @v.2
From the US Minor Outlying Islands, a stingy, gritty, hard hitting positionally sound blue liner.  DEF – Shaggy Tipton  @TheTiptonKing
From the tantalizing shores of Belize where Warsaw got a steal in the draft with this smooth skating, offensive minded blue liner as he looks to create instant offense with his heady passing.  How about a chest bump for;  DEF – Tynan Sylvester  @diamond_ace
Another product of Australia, plays defense like a wet blanket, you can’t get him off of you and if you're getting close, he’ll run you right thru the boards, give this guy a big slap on the back when welcoming;  DEF – Zeljko Ranogajec  @ColeMrtz
From the Marshall Islands is an overwhelmingly large human at 6’8” 245lbs filling up the 4x6 opening in front of the net, he carried the load for SSK this past season and will show the world he’s ready to play at the next level;  TENDY – Leroy Johnson @Vkobe-v
Rounding out this years WORLD roster is another kid from Greenland, he likes to flash the leather and paddle pucks away while frustrating the opposition with his flashy, brick wall play;  TENDY – Tobias Reinhart  @Spaz

The Captaincy for this years squad will come from none other than Tui Sova

Congrats to all of the players and fans – We have high expectations heading into the tournament.

Yoooo here we go, WJC season is officially ON!

I was going to make a Team Greenland joke but then went and double checked everyone's nationality -  we have a super diverse team here. So many Pacific Islanders. So many cool stories. Team World is always a lot of fun, and this year looks great.

Darth Kaprizov reacted to v.2 in S78WJC Team Canada Logo & Jersey Reveal
This year, Team Canada looks to reemerge as a force at the World Junior Championship.  As the GM this season I have decided to put as much thought into the meaning behind the logo and jerseys worn as I have been putting into rounding out our roster.  The objective here was to preserve the patriotism of wearing the flag, along with bringing some much needed awareness and light to the reality of the country's history.  Our players uniforms at this years tournament aim to symbolize solidarity with Indigenous communities and encourage people to learn the history of Indigenous people and the legacy and truths of the residential schools in Canada, all while building intercultural understanding, empathy and mutual respect as a nation.  Without further adieu, here is this years Team Canada WJC logo:

Yes, we're dawning orange instead of red this year.  We are happy to have gotten Nike on board again this season to design us some brand new looks sporting the new logo, here is the result:

Hope you all enjoy the uniforms and support the decisions made.  Roster announcement coming soon! Keep 'em peeled. 👀

Volchenkov would also be selected 12th overall in the season 73 VHL draft by London where they have spent their entire 5 season VHL career. During their time with London Volchenkov has been very consistent being just below a point per game for their entire career.

Akerstrom is the very rare case where their production in the VHLM actually decreased from 53 to 51 points following them being drafted. Their time with Halifax was average at best as he only put up 14 goals and 37 assists in 72 games, and in the playoffs, they were even less effective in the post-season as they failed to register a point in 7 games. Akerstrom would be selected 15th overall in the season 74 VHL draft by Helsinki and would be traded to Vancouver halfway through their rookie campaign where their production would improve substantially. Following spending season 76 in Vancouver Akerstrom signed with Moscow as a free agent where they would retire 14 games into season 77.

Kaberle managed to earn both the Ryan Sullivan Trophy and Vladimir Boomchenko Trophy during his time with San Diego. Kaberle would be selected 11th overall in the S75 VHL draft by Toronto, where they have spent their entire 3 season VHL career. Darth Kaprizov reacted to Lazarus in S78 Draft Steals
Now that season 78 is nearing an end, many of the prospects drafted in the previous draft are looking more like future VHL Stars. Names such as Hard Markinson and Tui Sova have already graced the VHL stage and are making their presence known around the league. As of the making of this article, seven S78 draftees have made VHL rosters and many are in prime position to make the jump in S79. Among all these players are some hidden gems that teams were able to acquire later in the draft. These few players are proving to be potential steals for their teams and are putting in the work to make a VHL roster in the following season or two.

    Anze Miklavs TPE → 329
    @McKelvie

The only first-round pick to be featured on this list, Miklavs is one of the most all-around players of the S78 draft class. He was one of the top-rated right-wingers and seemed like a lock for a top 10 pick. When the draft finally came, Miklavs dropped all the way to the 15th pick and right into the waiting arms of the Riga Reign. He spent his first year on a weak Mexico team where he exploded for 87 points in 72 games. His time with the Kings was alongside the previously mentioned Sova, and the two players became great leaders to a young squad. In season 78, he was selected to the Houston Bulls and became a huge part of a season that will see them make the playoffs. It will be interesting if the young winger can handle the pressure of entering his first playoff season. Miklavs is the 8th ranked S78 player in TPE and continues to grow and caps out every week. He will fit in nicely with a young Riga team and could turn into a future star who was passed up by 9 different VHL teams.

    Jaromir Lemiuex TPE → 301
    @hockeyis66

In the S78 draft, The Moscow Menace found some of the top talents in the second round and 18th overall selection, Jaromir Lemiuex is already looking much stronger than his draft position would suggest. The dynamic playmaker has had a very strong VHLM career with the Yukon Rush and is coming off his strongest year with 108 points in 72 games which was tied for 9th in the VHLM. Lemiuex should be a good addition to the young squad of Moscow and will become a vital part of their rebuild and future success. Lemiuex could pair well with the goal-scoring center, Paul Atreides later down the road. In Terms of TPE, Jaromir Lemiuex has jumped to 11th in total earnings of all S78 players, surpassing many first-round picks and he caps out weekly. Clearly, Moscow knew what they were doing as they found a steal in the Danish right-winger, Jaromir Lemiuex.

    Leroy Johnson TPE → 242
    @Vkobe-v

Leroy Johnson is the only goalie to appear on the list and for good reason. Johnson is another solid prospect that fell late in the second round to the Moscow Menace at pick number 29. He has made massive strides throughout the season as Moscow’s only goaltending prospect and will surely secure a spot on the final roster sooner rather than later. The goaltender out of the Marshall Islands had a relatively strong first showing as the backup for the Halifax 21st finishing with a SV% of 0.872 and a GAA of 3.52 in the 33 games he played. After being drafted by the Saskatoon Wild in the VHLM Dispersal Draft, his workload has had a major increase. Johnson played in 71 of the 72 games posting stronger numbers with a SV% of .893 and a GAA of 3.59. Both of Moscow’s goalies have expiring contracts and will become UFAs at the end of the season, leaving a wonderful opportunity for Johnson to step in for S79. He’ll be able to fill in the backup position and could become the goalie of the future for the Menace. His TPE earning has been very consistent and he caps out weekly. Johnson is the second-rated goaltender of the S78 class and has all the potential of being a star in the VHL yet almost fell to the third round.

    Darth Kaprizov TPE → 231
    @Darth Kaprizov

A promising prospect that had to wait two whole rounds before finally hearing his name called. Kaprizov was always an intriguing name, he was a waiver pick up by the Mexico City Kings where he recorded 28 points in 43 games with the team. When the draft came, the young center fell all the way to the 34th pick in the 3rd round to the Calgary Wranglers which added to their limited prospect pool. Kaprizov would return to the Kings after being selected by them in the dispersal draft where he managed to put up an impressive 62 points in 46 games. Midway through the season, he would be shipped to the Philadelphia Reapers to have a run at a Founder’s Cup where he managed a respectable 13 points in the final 24 games with the team leading up to the playoffs. During season 78, he would be traded in the VHL at the deadline. Calgary sent Kaprizov to the HC Davos Dynamo where he should fit in nicely and be a big part of an ongoing rebuild. Darth Kaprizov has been constantly improving throughout the season and is climbing the ranks as he currently sits 23rd among all S78 players and will soon make a VHL roster. There is still room for improvement, but Kaprizov will surely become one of the stories of the S78 draft.

These four guys aren’t the only players that could become huge steals for their teams however, they’re the most intriguing to me. In saying that, I still felt it would be disrespectful to leave some names out of this article so I added a few honorable mentions.

The Reapers have officially clinched the 5th seed in the upcoming playoffs where we will be facing San Diego in the first round which is on the other side of the country by the way. While Armani has not been a big part of this due to him just joining the team despite just getting his first assist, I do want to quickly point out some players who deserve recognition. Alex Johnson is definitely one of them with him scoring 117 points and five hat tricks. He also currently has 58 goals with 16 of them being in the power play and 11 of his goals being game winners. Vasiliy Grigorev has one more power play goal however making his total 17.

Zeljko Ranogajec also definitely deserves a mention with him giving out hard hits left and right with 254 total and is great at getting the puck to the open skater with 78 assists. There is also JaredN Jr who is one of the top defensemen in the league and is the one with the third most points. He has also been blocking a lot of shots with 129. We apparently also don't get as many penalty minutes then other teams with us not being in the top ten in that area. In my opinion this is a very complete team and I cannot wait to see what we do in the playoffs.

Darth Kaprizov reacted to WildfireMicro in Armani Calamari's unique path to the VHLM
Armani Calamari grew up in Toronto Ontario Canada despie being born in Alberta so hockey was always a big part of his life. Whether it was days at the community rink starting as a decent goalie for his youth hockey team before transitioning to center or being a starting center for his school hockey team he was never that far from the ice. Days when he was not playing were usually spent watching and studying various hockey games from all kinds of leagues to improve his playing abilities. It was a dream he kept even when his mom unfortunately passed away due to her heart condition. Eventually he got into AAA hockey levels and was a great starting center even if he was not the star player on that team, that player being his best friend and team captain Craig Smith.

But Calamari ended up still putting up good numbers in his minor career averaging 15 goals and 21 assets through 42 games. His hard work on and off the ice would eventually pay off when he managed to lead his team to a provincial championship despite a career ending leg injury to Craig due to a dirty hit. Armani was named captain the following season and managed to repeat as provincial champions, dedicating the victory to Craig who watched them from the stands. An award in the high school was also named after Craig that awards the most dedicated player. After his days of playing on the team were finally done, he joined the Toronto Marlies of the AHL. He put up ok numbers in his rookie season with 7 goals and 17 assists in 62 games.

The next season he improved tremendously but was injured during the season with a groin injury, getting 22 goals and 33 assists in 45 games. He has since said that the injury was the most painful one far of his career. It would take a bit for him to recover and he almost missed the first few games of the following season. But he played through the pain amd the team actually reached the championship but unfortunately lost in six games. But throughout the season he had 42 goals and 33 assists and during the playoffs he had 10 goals and 6 assists. After the playoffs he was told that he had gotten to old to stay with the team and decided to sign a waiver free agency contract with the Philadelphia Reapers of the VHLM despite the fact that an Ontario team offered him due to wanting to see more of the USA.

Darth Kaprizov reacted to WildfireMicro in Armani Calamari's motivation
Story does contain elements of family passing away
Armani Calamari is quite a unique name for quite the unique player with a very bittersweet story. A tall Center from Toronto Canada, he was born to Jay and Violet Calamari and was originally born in Alberta before his family decided to move to Toronto to be closer to family living in New York. Growing up with this name wasn't always easy as bullies would make fun if him for his last name and call him an octopus. As he was a tall gangly kid at that point he was an easy target before his eventual growth spurt.. But eventually he got some friends that didn't judge him for his name when he started to get into youth hockey where he was originally a goalie before transitioning to center during his second season.
Jay was a programmer and engineer and mostly worked on several business servers. Violet was a head nurse for a local hospital. This meant they were all pretty wealthy though Armani was never able to get a sibling thanks to Violet's worsening health. She had an extremely bad heart condition that she took a lot of medicine for and often was worried that her time was limited. That is why she tried to take her family on many vacations across Canada and the USA to see various sporting events as she wanted to make sure she spent as much time as she could with her family. She also supported Armani in his hockey pursuits and tried to see as many games as she could.
He became a big star on his youth hockey team but life at home was another story when his mother suddenly began to get extremely ill. They all hoped for the best but unfortunately but the worst came when Violet passed away due to several heart complications. This made him unable to enjoy hockey for quite a while before Jay was finally able to get through to him that he should continue playing in her memory and that she would have not wanted him to quit because he can't get over her passing. This motivated him and his team won a local youth league with him scoring the game winning overtime goal.
Armani would continue his hockey dreams and would become quite the well known player. He would get a tattoo of his late mom's name on his arm as well. Jay would eventually remarry bit it took some time for him to get into a position where he could. He still works at his engineering job but was a frequent sight at his son's games. Eventually Armani got into the waivers program in the VHL and signed a free agency deal with the Philadelphia Reapers, this being the first time he had ever lived outside of the great white north. But he is ecstatic for the opportunity to show his stuff and is also looking forward to eating some Philadelphia cheesesteaka again after tasting them on a vacation once. He is also definitely looking forward to being a part of the Reapers championship push.

Darth Kaprizov reacted to Spartan in The S79 Wayyyy Too Early Mock Draft
Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new segment from the VSN Scouting Department! We're all still recovering from the thrills that were the VHL and VHLM draft in the past week, but the draft hype train never stops. As the S78 Draft closed up shop, the portal opened up the player listing for the S79 VHL Draft - leading @Patrik Tallinder and myself to get the hype going nice and early, with a wayyyyy too early mock draft.

While this draft class has only really existed for a few weeks, it has the potential to be a very strong class, featuring multiple players from high profile agencies, such as the commissioner's office, the recruitment team, and many other recreates. It'll certainly be a very strong top of the class, but the dropoff from the top players may not be as steep as the dropoff in the S78 class, making this a very exciting group to cover over the next season.

Before diving into the mock draft, I'd like to mention that this is merely a very, very early guess at how the draft will play out, as well as explain the rationale behind the order of the draft. I briefly conjured up a projected power rankings for the VHL, which is not the official season preview/predictions endorsed by VSN. The "Around the VHL" crew will be providing more depth into a season preview later this week. For now though, this article uses a very loose speculation of how teams will finish off the season. Enjoy!

    1st Overall

    RW - Tyler Reinhart - @Zetterberg

This is a relatively simple selection for the Vancouver squad that has committed to the retool. In a fiercely competitive NA conference, look for the Wolves to end up with the top odds in the lottery, and the opportunity to select the clear #1 prospect in the class - Tyler Reinhart. The smooth skating sharpshooter looks to become the next offensive juggernaut in Vancouver, as the franchise will be looking to replace Andrew Su, their former face of the franchise. Reinhart is not very physical, but more than makes up for the lack of physicality with silky-smooth hands and a fantastic offensive and defensive IQ, making him the surefire #1 selection.

    2nd Overall

    D - Poopy Peepants - @JardyB10

This may come as a mildly surprising selection to many, considering that Peepants is barely in the top 5 of the class in terms of TPE, but his earning and former reputation suggests that he could easily earn his way into the top 3. Moscow selected defenseman Hard Markinson with the 2nd overall pick in the S78 draft, but they could still use a 2nd high-ceiling defense prospect on their very young and unproven defense core. Peepants will be closely examined by many GM's over the course of the season, as they'll all like to know whether Peepants can develop into a top pairing role in the VHL.

    3rd Overall

    C - Jonathan Ori - @ROOKIE745

Malmo is in desperate need for a center, as current centers Kevin Sterk and Arthur Dayne are each within a few seasons of retirement, with no clear replacement in the Nighthawks' prospect pool. Recent S78 selection Nathanial Minion could surely grow into the role, but for now, his growth is a question mark and Malmo could look to Jonathan Ori to fill the void. Ori is a newcomer to the VHL and VHLM, only declaring his intent to participate in the league in the past week, but has already showed a massive willingness to learn - exponentially increasing his growth. This class is looking very thin for centers, with only Omi Aberg as the other center, so look for Malmo to fill a key hole while also selecting a premium position.

    4th Overall

    LW - Jerome Reinhart - @MexicanCow123

Davos follows a similar principle to Malmo at 4 overall and selects a position that fills a hole on the squad, while also selecting the best player available. Jerome Reinhart only declared his eligibility for the draft in the past week, but he comes from a very strong agency that managed the career of Jacob Tonn, the former star goalie for Seattle, Moscow and London. The only potential risk here is if Jerome wants to eventually play with fellow Reinhart, 1st overall selection Tyler Reinhart. That’ll be for the GM’s to evaluate and decide though.

    5th overall (from CGY)

    D - Erlantz Jokinen - @jRuutu

Fate is certainly on Seattle's side as they land yet another player from jRuutu's agency, one they are very familiar with from the era of Jim Bob. Like his predecessor, Jokinen brings a consistent two-way game to Seattle, looking to slowly develop his physical side as well. Seattle's largest weakness of the future is their aging defense corps, and Jokinen would provide a fresh new face to keep Seattle's window open for even longer (does Seattle even know what rebuilding is?) A familiar face at a position of need feels like a no-brainer - pencil in Jokinen to Seattle if Calgary's selection happens to fall between 4-6 overall.

    6th overall (from NYA)

    G - Papa Emiritus - @Beketov

This draft is really shaping up to be a dream come true for almost every team involved so far. Warsaw is fortunate enough to hold NYA's 1st round selection, while also conveniently being in the market for a new franchise goaltender with the retirement of incumbent starter Ajay Krishna approaching quickly. All the teams that have selected so far all have franchise goalies in place, or have recently selected goaltenders to be their franchise netminders of the future. Warsaw stops Emiritus' fall, and selects one of the best prospect goaltenders to come out of the M in quite a while - a truly fantastic pairing.

    7th overall (from DCD)

    RW - Taylor Mourning - @scoop

Prague barely misses out on selecting their replacement for Grekkark Gyrfalcon, but are awarded a very strong consolation prize in Tayor Mourning. Mourning would immediately slot in on either the first or second line and provide a strong two-way game, as well as consistent playmaking to set up the other shoot-first forwards - this could potentially be the replacement Prague will need for retiring star forward Thomas Landry II. Scoop’s development has shown consistency, and has continued to grow each week at a very high level. Expect to see this young man drafted in the top 10 on draft day for sure.

    8th overall

    D - Lilith Lunar - @Lilith_Lunar

In what may eventually be perceived as a tad bit of a reach, Helsinki addresses the largest team need of defense, even if it means selecting a player above their projected rank. In a shallow defenseman class, new GM Frank Funk will need to decide whether to go with the best player available, or take a chance on the best defenseman available in Lunar. Another new entrant to the VHL, GM’s will be keeping an eye on Lunar to determine whether she can be consistent both on the ice, and in her development. Coming out of the gates swinging with very intense training sessions, Lunar could easily lay a serious claim to be considered a top 10 selection, but she’ll have her work cut out for her to prove that ranking.

    9th overall

    LW - Miroslav Tsarov - @PadStack

With the 9th pick in the draft, Los Angeles decides to take the best player available with Miroslav Tsarov. The Ukrainian winger will join a group of young forwards in LA, and he will get the chance to grow among the likes of wingers Trevor Wallace, Henri le Massif and Lenny Sanderson. This is a group with good potential, and they will have the abilities necessary to complement their elite center group. Tsarov earns around 8-10 capped TPE every week, making him a reliable option for the team in the future. He will need a season to develop after the draft in all likelihood, however he has the potential to be a real contributor in the VHL once he does get there.

    10th overall

    RW - Baby Bob - @Baby Boomer

Moving on to a first gen with quickly increasing potential, London picks up recent Mississauga draftee Baby Bob. Bob played 2 games to end S77, signing with Mexico City right before the season concluded. Although he didn’t record any points, he did show a lot of potential in those two games. With this selection, London gets a player with upside that is rivalled by few players that go below him in this mock draft. He could inject some youth into the United’s forward unit, and bring the scoring touch that he has been working on this offseason. This is a player who could quite possibly end up higher on this list by the end of this season based on his TPE earning resume so far.

    11th overall (from SEA)

    D - Bob Beach - @Big Bob

After grabbing a future first line center at 3rd overall, Malmo aims to add some depth to their blueline with Yukon’s Bob Beach. Beach is a smooth skater with a precise shot and a good mind for the game. He will have to compete with some quality prospects for ice time in the big league when he gets there, but there will certainly be spots available to replace some of the aging pieces of the team’s defense. Bob Beach is likely the best player available at this slot, and it would make sense for the Nighthawks to vary their picks a little bit in terms of position.

    12th overall

    G - Em Em Flex - @oilmandan

User oilmandan has long been one of the most dependable users in the league, always creating solid players with no streaks of inactivity whatsoever. This dependability makes him a very enticing option in the crease, as a goalie fallen inactive can seriously damage a team’s situation. Prague can absolutely count on Em Em Flex being their starter of the future, as they add another core piece to the puzzle after selecting Jerome Reinhart earlier in the round. Flex is a netminder with exceptional ability down low; His skating technique and rebound control allows him to direct play from the ice and cover the bottom of the net with ease.

    13th overall

    G - Emiko Spector - @Emi

This pick from Riga would mark the first time since S73 that two goalies were drafted back to back in the first round of the VHL draft, when Grekkark Gyrfalcon and Jean Pierre Camus went 6th and 7th overall. Emiko Spector is a goalie with stunning potential, capping out in the first week of her young career. She will have the chance to prove her worth in Halifax this season, where she will serve as the backup behind Jonathan Bustard. After an early retirement with her last player, Emi may find herself below Em Em Flex to begin the season, but that could always change when you consider the impressive TPE earning that has continued into her second career.

    14th overall (from TOR)

    C - Omi Aberg - @osens

This pick is an interesting one. It presumes that Aberg starts earning TPE like osens’ last player did, because he has only earned 2 TPE since recreating two days ago. Osens is a well-liked member in the community, and it would be no surprise if he was picked even earlier than this pick if he begins earning again. He would join Tyler Reinhart in Vancouver, possibly forming a future C-LW duo for the team. Aberg is a playmaker that makes the players around him better; Slotting him with goalscorers will almost surely boost the numbers of his linemates.

    15th overall

    LW - Jakub Brozik - @Wolverine

Chicago already has a very well-established forward core, and for this reason they can confidently take a bit of a risky pick to shoot for high upside to eventually replace some of the older forwards on the roster. User Wolverine has retired early multiple times in the past few seasons, but there is no doubting that he is an extremely active member with tremendous upside as a player. Perhaps Brozik will go the distance for a full career, and the Phoenix will be over the moon with this pick. Brozik has capped out for four straight weeks to kick off his new career, and he is looking to make an early impression with the Hounds after being chosen 25th overall in the VHLM Draft.

    16th overall (from WAR)

    RW - Luke Pastrnak - @GoldGear88

With their third and final selection in the first round of this draft, Malmo drafts Luke Pastrnak of the Mexico City Kings. Although Pastrnak wasn’t placed in a large role on the Aces last season, he did gain some valuable playoff experience on a 9 game run that was cut short in the second round. This season, Pastrnak will showcase his skills in a more prominent role with the Kings. If Malmo likes what they see, maybe he will land here at 16th overall.

Thanks all for reading this mock draft! Myself and @Patrik Tallinder will claim this for 2 weeks each.
