After the VHLE and the VHLQ, it is now time to welcome the VHLO (Part 2) Last week we started this mini-series about the VHL : Ontario and we talked about the two first city that joined the imaginary league, Toronto, the biggest city in the Ontario, and London. I won’t let you wait any longer and i will start immediately with the first team of this part and the third one of the mini-series. I will start this mini-series with another city that everyone expected, Ottawa. Effectively, Ottawa is the capital of the Canada and also the second city with the most inhabitants with almost 900 000 people living in the city. The second city for this mini-series is Windsor. The city has a team in the OHL, the Windsor Spitfires. The team has a big history of player who are playing or played in the NHL. Indeed, Taylor Hall, Jason Spezza, Ryan Ellis and a lot more. Tell me if there are teams that you would like to see in the VHLO?

Rome Gladiators Press conferences
Baby Boomer replied to UnknownMinion's topic in Team Press Conferences
1. We need to stay focus and play as hard as we can, just like we did since the beginning of the season. 2. VHLM = Yukon Rush, VHLE = Rome Gladiators and VHL = Vancouver Wolves 3. I will say the Stockholm Vikings, because they are the only team that have more points than us in the standings right now. 4. Quick's Cup, in honour of one of the mains creator of the VHLE. 5. Maybe change the 3-0n-3 line or change the player on shootout. 6. Prevention is better than cure ( it is just a quote that i saw on the internet and i thought it was cool. -
Talking about the trade deadline in the VHLM
Baby Boomer replied to Collusion's topic in Archived Media Spots
8/10 Woow great text, i always love to see a little recap after a trade deadline. Your recap is well done and very accurate. Maybe add a little more colors or make some of the text bold to make it easier to read. Keep up the good work and i am looking forward to see your recap next season! -
9/10 Great article, it is really nice to see what a former VHL player is doing on his after-career and how he is doing now that he doesn't play hockey anymore. I love to see that you also included his stats like his amount of points during his career. Also, the text is really well written and easy to read. Good Job!

Hello everyone, Welcome to the eighteenth chapter of Baby Bob's life story. In this life story we will talk about the life of Baby, when he was young, his thoughts and his impressions before the drafts, during the seasons and during the playoffs. Baby Bob will also respond to questions from the fans, from the GMs and from the leaders of the VHL and the VHLM. The season is coming to an end and I will do a little recap of what happened to Baby Bob and the Rome Gladiators during the season. At the beginning of the season, the VHLE was very tight. The gap between the first and the last was very small, only 4 points separated the first and last place. No one knew how the season would go and predict who would be first of the league at the end of the season. Towards the middle of the season, the difference between the teams started to be bigger and we then could predict who would win the Cup, who doesn’t have a name yet. Since the middle of the season the standing did not really change. Indeed, the Rome Gladiators are second in the league with 77 points in 64 games behind the Stockholm Vikings. We asked Baby Bob to tell us his impressions about the seasons of the Rome Gladiators : « I am very very happy about the way we are playing right now and i hope that it will continue for the rest of the season. We started the season slow offensively and defensively, but now we are scoring a lot of goals and we don’t allow a lot of them. We will probably make the playoffs and our only goal is to win the Cup ». Baby Bob had big personal objectives for his first season in the VHLE and i am pretty sure that he is happy about his personal stats and his game play. Effectively, Baby Bob has 44 goals and 97 points in 64 games. He is third in the league for the most points and first in the league for the most goals. He is also in the top 5 in the +/- category with a differencial of +22. Another fun stat about the season of Baby is that he is second in the entire league for the amount of shots on goals. We also reached out to Baby Bob to ask him about his personal stats for the season : « Obviously, the season is not over, so everything can happen, but i am very happy about the way i am playing right now. First in the league for goal scoring is not something to be afraid, but i am not the only one who is playing well on the team. My teammate and linemate Otto Numminen is second in the league in points and fifth in the amount in assists ». Thanks for reading and see you next week for more of the life story of Baby Bob. 501 words 18- 24 october

After the VHLE and the VHLQ, it is now time to welcome the VHLO Not so long ago, i made a similar mini-series, the VHL : Quebec. The series was quite popular, so i decided to go another one, but about the Ontario. The principle of the mini-series is to recreate the VHL : Europe, but with city of Ontario. I will do three parts with two teams each for a total of six teams just like in the VHLE right now. I will immediately start with a tea, that no one should be surprised. Even though their current NHL team can’t pass the first round of the playoffs, Toronto deserve a VHLO team. Toronto is the biggest city of Ontario with 2 600 000 inhabitants and also the capital of the province. The second city of the part 1 of the mini-series is London. London currently has a team in the OHL and it is the London Knights. The city is inhabited by 366 000 people and is the sixth most populated city in Ontario.

Rome Gladiators Press conferences
Baby Boomer replied to UnknownMinion's topic in Team Press Conferences
1. It would be the Baby boomers and obviously i would be the GM. 2. Chicken nuggets without a doubt. 3. We need to produce more offensively. Our defensive is great, but our offensive struggle some times. 4. Both my personal stats and the team's stats are looking incredible and i could not have predicted that at the beginning of the season. 5. Xavier Boomberry is doing very very good right now with the Iron Eagles. 6. Of course, we have very great chance to win the Cup this year -
Hello everyone, Welcome to the seventeenth chapter of Baby Bob's life story. In this life story we will talk about the life of Baby, when he was young, his thoughts and his impressions before the drafts, during the seasons and during the playoffs. Baby Bob will also respond to questions from the fans, from the GMs and from the leaders of the VHL and the VHLM. In this chapter, we will take a trip into the future and talk about the life after the VHL of Baby Bob. The article will be in the form of an interview where Baby Bob will answer some of my questions. I started by asking him about the way he feels about his retiring : « I am still at the beginning of my career, so i don’t really think about my retirement yet, because i still want to focus on my career. However, sometimes I visualize my after career and i have a lot of great project that i would like to do ». As you just saw, Baby Bob talked about having big project for after his hockey career in the VHL. I obviously asked to know more about his “project” : « Well, i won’t be the first one to do it and surely not the last one either, but i always wanted to open my own training camp. A training camp where everyone can play hockey and don’t have to be a millionaire to participate. When i was young, my parents weren’t the one with the most money, so i was not going on all these summer training camp that all my teammates where going. I didn’t really think about a name for my camp yet, but it will be a classic one, nothing too fancy ». We know that the career of Baby in the VHL will not last forever, but we don’t know if after the VHL Baby Bob will continue to play, either in another league or a garage league. I reached out to him to know better his thought about that : « Of course, I would never want to stop playing and retire, but we never know what can happen in my life. Injurie, personnal problem or even illness, but if it was only from me i would never retire. It is really too soon to start thinking about it, but I would really like to play in the KHL or any other league in Europe after the VHL. It is sure that the KHL is probably the most prestigious league in Europe after the VHLE, so it is always nice to play where the legends already played. I am currently talking about Pavel Datsyuk, Alex Ovechkin and many others. A lot of big players who had great career in the NHL or the VHL played in Europe after, like Jaromir Jagr, the Sedin brothers, the Stastny brothers and a lot more ». Thanks for reading and see you next week for more of the life story of Baby Bob. 508 words 11- 17 october

My top 3 of the best looking logos in the VHL There are 16 teams in the VHL, so that means 16 logos as well. All of the logos are very beautiful, but i only need to choose three of them to make my top three of the most best looking logos in the VHL. I will start with the third best looking logos of the VHL, the logo of the Toronto Legion. I really love the shape of this logo and how the name really fit with the logo. It is now time to tell the second one, the logo of the D.C. Dragons is very beautiful. It is very basic, it is just a dragon, but the dragon is very well done and i like it. Now, the last, but also the best looking logo in the VHL, in my opinion, the logo of the Malmo Nighthawks. I really love the colors and the choice of the logo. Before the end, i want to give an honorable mention to the logo of the Warsaw Predators.

Rome Gladiators Press conferences
Baby Boomer replied to UnknownMinion's topic in Team Press Conferences
1. We continue to play the same way we were playing and the results will continue to be in our favour. 2. Obviously, it helps the entire team, because we don't have to stress about our goaltenders, because they are the doing the job. 3. I am first in the league for the most game winning goals with seven in 40 games. This is absolutely unbelievable, I am very proud. 4. Otto Numminen without a doubt, he is currently first in the league for the most points and he deserves it. 5. We need to focus more on improving our offensive side of the game and shooting more. 6. We just continue to do what we are already doing and the streaks will continue. -
My top 3 of the best looking logos of the VHLM There are currently twelve teams in the VHLM and a lot of them have beautiful logos. In this little article, I will tell you my top three of the best looking logos of all the VHLM. I will start with my third favorite, the Saskatoon Wild’s logo, their logo is very basic, a wild animal face with his mouth open. It is very basic, but very beautiful and simple. Now, my second favorite, the Miami Marauders logo, the logo really represents the name of the league, a skeleton head with a pirate hat on a ship anchor. The meaning of the logo is incredible and the colors are really relevant and beautiful. Finally, my favorite logo of all the VHLM, the Mexico City Kings logo, the team recently changed their logo and I believe that they did an amazing job, the color and the design of the logo are perfect. Here are my favorite logos of the VHLM.

No one can predict who will win the Cup in the VHLE

Malmo will win in the VHL not in the VHLE -
Hello everyone, Welcome to the sixteenth chapter of Baby Bob's life story. In this life story we will talk about the life of Baby, when he was young, his thoughts and his impressions before the drafts, during the seasons and during the playoffs. Baby Bob will also respond to questions from the fans, from the GMs and from the leaders of the VHL and the VHLM. In the last couple of weeks, a lot of things happened and we did not have the time to talk about everything. In this chapter, I will do a full interview with Baby Bob about the events of the past weeks. A lot of things happened lately, but everything started with your loss in the final of the Founder’s Cup. How did this loss affect you? « I have only been in the league for two seasons, but I can say that it was the most intense thing that happened to me. In my first season, we were last in the league and no one was surprised and in my second season, we were first and no one was surprised about it either. We went to the final and we were favorites to win the Cup, but we didn’t, so obviously I was devastated. However, after 2-3 days, I moved on to get ready for the next season to win the Cup in the VHLE with my future team. » Only nine days after the final of the Founder’s Cup, you have been drafted by the Rome Gladiators 17th overall. How did it make you feel? « It is always fun to be drafted, it is a new adventure that begins and it also shows that a team wants you to play for them. Rome was the only team that contacted me before the draft, so I was very excited to see that they really wanted me on their team. Also, Minion, my former teammates and linemates with the Mississauga Hounds for the past two seasons, is currently the AGM of the Rome Gladiators, so it is very nice to see a familiar face. Minion is not the only one that played with Mississauga that is now playing with Rome. Effectively, Russel Dixon, Luke Spinelli and Otto Numminen are also playing with the Gladiators this season. » This season is the first ever VHLE season and you are a part of it. How does it feel to play for the first ever Rome Gladiators and to have played the first game ever of your team? « It is always weird to wear a jersey that no one else has ever worn before, but very exciting at the same time. Effectively, when you first step on the ice in front of all your fans, it always feels extremely great and I will always remember this moment. It's already been two weeks since the season started, but I still can’t believe that this is really happening. » Thanks for reading and see you next week for more of the life story of Baby Bob. 508 words 4 - 10 october

Rome Gladiators Press conferences
Baby Boomer replied to UnknownMinion's topic in Team Press Conferences
1. We did not have a bad start of the season, but not a good one either. However, We are currently third in the league with only one point behind the first in the league. I feel like we are now playing like we should be. 2. The team is playing good, but i think that we could improve our offensive side of the game. We does not score as much goals as we should. 3. It obviously feel good, but it is weird at the same time. It is the first time this team ever existed and we are a part of it. 4. It is strange, but i will say the Bratislava Watchmen, even though they are last in the league, i feel like they are the team who beats us the most. 5. Our offensive. Effectively, we are the team with the least goals for and i believe that we should improve that aspects of the game. 6. Simple. Ban him. -
8/10 Very good article. The text is really nice to read and it is well written. I like the fact that you chose one player that you like for each, but i would maybe elaborate a little bit more about why the player is the best of his team. Other than that, great article and keep up the good work.

Hello everyone, Welcome to the fifteenth chapter of Baby Bob's life story. In this life story we will talk about the life of Baby, when he was young, his thoughts and his impressions before the drafts, during the seasons and during the playoffs. Baby Bob will also respond to questions from the fans, from the GMs and from the leaders of the VHL and the VHLM. Last week, three drafts happened and Baby Bob got drafted in one of them. In this chapter, we will talk about this draft and the beginning of the season. Exactly nine days ago at the time I am writing this text, the 20th of september, it was the first ever VHLE draft. There are only six teams in the league right now, so only six players each round were selected. There were 14 rounds and a total of 84 players drafted. Baby Bob was one of them, effectively, Baby was drafted in the third round, 17th overall by the Rome Gladiators. Rome was the only team that contacted him before the draft. The AGM of the Gladiators, Minion, was the former teammate of Baby Bob in the VHLM with the Mississauga Hounds. Maybe it played a role in the selection of Baby in the third round. We reached out to Baby Bob to see his reactions about being drafted in the third round by Rome : « When the draft started, i had the goal of being drafted between the end of the second round and the beginning of the fourth round and i reached my goal as i was drafted in the third round. I was very happy to be drafted and when I heard that it was by Rome I was even more excited. At the time, I knew that Minion was the AGM and my other former teammate Otto Numminen had been drafted in the second round, so I was happy to see faces that I already knew. In addition, they were not the only ones, Russel Dixon, Luke Spinelli and Sigard Petrenko, all former teammates with the Hounds were going to be drafted by Rome ». Last Wednesday, the season started and Baby decided to stay in the VHLE instead of going to the big league to play with Prague. There are not a lot of forwards on the team, seven to be exact, so Baby is playing a lot. He told me that he had high objectives this season, like finishing in the top 10 of the leagues in points and in goals. Baby Bob is currently at 9 goals and 19 points in 14 games with a differential +/- of 0. He is not in the top 10 in points, but he is tied in seventh place for goals. Baby Bob is also tied in first place for the most game winning goals with three. The season is just starting, but Baby is already looking to do better and help his team that is currently sitting in fifth place. Thanks for reading and see you next week for more of the life story of Baby Bob. 516 words 27 september - 3 october

No one can predict who will win the Cup in the VHLE S80 is the first ever VHLE season and no one knew how it would go. There are currently six teams in the VHLE right now, the Gladiators, the Red Wolves, the Iron Eagles, the Vikings, the Watchmen and the Express. My team, the Rome Gladiators, is sitting in last place of the league with five wins, five losses and two overtime losses for a total of twelve points in twelve games. To show you how the standings are very tight, there is a tie at three teams, the Red Wolves, the Iron Eagles and the Vikings with fifthteen points in twelve games. This is only three points more than the last place in the league. The first three teams are at 15 points, the fourth team is at 13 points and the last two teams are at 12 points. I know that it only been 12 games, but i can see that this first ever season will be a great one.
