  3. Welcome to the S88 VHLM Playoff Preview! It's playoff time! Today we'll take a look at the first round of the S88 Founder's Cup playoffs. The eight teams who clinched a spot this season all have rosters filled with talent so this bracket could go anywhere depending on personal opinions. If you're looking for recent VHLM topics, the S88 Power Rankings will be posted below. I hope you enjoy! I'm not the best at graphics but I think these turned out alright. S88 Power Rankings (1) vs. (8) Regular Season Series: Mississauga, 6-1 Jeff Lewis, 44 Goals 34, Sergei Romanov Reginald the Dodo, 72 Assists 50, Nick Sansoe Reginald the Dodo, 101 Points 76, Nick Sansoe Austin Goulet, 32 +/- -11, Sergei Romanov Goaltender Heat Levels The Mississauga Hounds in the last sim of the season secure the first seed and the S88 Prime Minister's Cup. The Hounds are a team built on snipers and pure point producers. Mississauga is the only team this season to have 5 skaters over 80 points, with all 5 of these skaters over 30 goals. Miami is a deer in front of headlights this series, but if the Marauders manages to win just one game in this series I will be shocked. Not only does Mississauga have five players with more points than Miami's top scorer, but the Hounds also have a top 3 goaltender (led the league in shutouts this season) between the pipes each game for this series. With no second thought this series looks to be a clean sweep for the Hounds. Mississauga wins series 4-0 (2) vs. (7) Regular Season Series: Mexico City, 6-4 Justin Williams, 46 Goals 42, Ronald Johnson MacWallace III Alex Deluca, 62 Assists 55, Jeremia Barbaslov Justin Williams, 101 Points 88, Ronald Johnson MacWallace III Justin Williams, 37 +/- -7, ShaunYoungca Goaltender Heat Levels After a long season in the hot seat, the Mexico City Kings find themselves heading into the first round as the second seed, facing off against the Las Vegas Aces. Mexico City has been known as a power house franchise for the past few seasons and haven't missed a stride. With another deeply built roster plus a veteran goaltender in net, and a league leader in points, Mexico should leave laughing after this series is over. Las Vegas has shown Mexico the works this season though! Taking 4 out of 10 games, there is definitely hope for the Aces. If Las Vegas wants to win this series then they need to shut down Mexico's top scorers and find any openings in that Mexico net to score. It is a tough task at hand for Las Vegas but I truly believe that Mexico has this series in the palm of their hands. Mexico City wins series 4-1 (3) vs. (6) Regular Season Series: Tied, 5-5 Sjin, 44 Goals 40, Viktor Jensen Sjin, 54 Assists 46, Roy Krishna Sjin, 98 Points 78, Viktor Jensen Sjin, 47 +/- 12, Joe Block Goaltender Heat Levels The San Diego Marlins have been in and around the top 3 seeds for the entirety of S88 and find themselves third to finish. The goaltending for San Diego has made all the difference this season, having the best goaltender in basically any stat you could think of! San Diego has also found a stud first line center who has been the head of all scoring production, and sits with the best of the best scorers this season. Houston has a lot on their plate this series when looking at the Marlins. Although Houston has held their own tying the regular season series at 5 a piece. Houston has one task in front of them and it is to score goals! When Houston scored 3+ goals this season against San Diego, they held a 4-0 record. Although at the end of the day you can not count out the league leading goaltender, and for that reason I think San Diego can squeeze their way out of this one. San Diego wins series 4-3 (4) vs. (5) Regular Season Series: Philadelphia, 7-4 LeBen Aky, 29 Goals 37, Tullemore Dew Eric Queefson, 54 Assists 70, Pope Francis Eric Queefson, 80 Points 101, Tullemore Dew Tyler Swift, 18 +/- 15, Tullemore Dew Goaltender Heat Levels The Philadelphia Reapers host the Halifax 21st for their first round matchup of S88. The Reapers have made a MASSIVE jump this season, from almost bottom of the barrel to 4th seed is an impressive thing to see! A lot of new inquires and trades have been made to finalize this playoff ready roster. While the stats don't shine too bright for the Reapers, you have to remember the slow start to their season. Since Trade Deadline, the Reapers have managed a 17-4-1 record which I believe has been the best across the entire league. Halifax has a hill to climb here! I saw them as being a scary team heading into these playoffs but now I see what else out is out there. Halifax needs to rely on three things this round: league leader Tullemore Dew to be Halifax's #1 player, shot blocking leader Pope Francis to hold down the blue line, and goaltender Boolie Buchholz to hold it down in the crease. Halifax needs their top dogs badly this round, but this hill may be too tall to climb. Philadelphia wins series 4-2 Regular Season Team Versus Standings and Leaders

  10. 1. 6-4-0. We’re still figuring it out but I am confident for playoffs. 2. I like being under dogs. We had a tough schedule all season and held our own, so we’re ready for a tougher schedule these playoffs. 3. I was drafted to Seattle and love it there. Everything about it, I’ll always vouch for the Bears. 4. I’m hoping number 1!! Would be cool to see him climb up. 5. I don’t have any pets but when I get my own place and don’t live with roommates I really want to get a dog. 6. I do exercise, football mainly. I don’t really enjoy weight lifting but I do it.

  14. @jacobcarson877 Triller can't ever be traded after this there's just no way
  15. I see nothing wrong with the waiver system. Players gets to choose what team they want and like cole and jacob said, people choose random teams for random reasons. If you draft your team well and sit at the top of the leader board, new players are going to want to hang out with you too. I wanted to come on here to talk about how Houston deals with waivers. If you've seen any new create post made, you'll see my name saying welcome to every member. The members that I see and recognize I reach out right away and give a hi. I got @Kisslinger and @leafsman onto the Bulls this season just by seeing what's up and talking to them like a normal human lol. I do this for some newer faces for my eyes too. @Will3 San Diego's newest stud can back me up, I reached out to them right away, had a small chat and they joined San Diego. I'm not saying my method is hitting jack pot every time but I believe it works. Build relationships and connections for your team and then members will want to join your community. Can thank @leandrofg for trusting us with @cLoWn this season Houston was in 8th at one point of this season, now we are pushing for the top 4. That's exactly what I did last season too, Houston finished 4th. Slowly we are learning and getting better every season.
