    1) Out of 10, how would you rate your players contribution to your teams record so far this season?

    2) In your own opinion what is the one skill , regardless of position, that every hockey player needs to excel at?

    3) You have a button which, when you press it, does something. What does yours do?

    1. Probably like a 7. Good offensive player and great on faceoffs but not one of three most impactful players on the team this season.

    2. Positional awareness. Knowing where you need to be at all times is crucial offensively, defensively and between the pipes.

    3. Gives me a house to live in lol.

    1. Who do you have winning the Continental Cup and has your opinion changed on who will win the Continental Cup after the start of the season?

    2. From 0-100%, what are the chances that the Oilers can mount the comeback against the Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final?

    Week of: June 9th, 2024

Answer 6 of these questions for 2 TPE

    1. We are currently tied for first in the EU conference. How do you think Malmo will fare at the end of the season?

    2. Do you think Calgary will continue their hot streak throughout the season?

    3. Who do you think is shining brightly for Malmo so far this season?

    4. What is your favorite snack?

    6. What goals do you have for your player this season?

    7. Should Malmo look to make any trades near the TDL this season, or continue forward with the team we have?

    1. I think we can definitely keep it up and hopefully surprise all the doubters we had.

    2. I think they look really good right now but inevitably I do think they will fall back a little bit in the NA Conference.  Hard to expect them to keep this up.

    3. Bobandy, Sparks, Stone and many others are having really awesome seasons for us right now.

    4. Typically a big Cheese and Crackers type of guy for my snacks.

    6. Just to keep on improving and maybe break 100 if at all possible honestly.

    7. Hard to say depending on what is available and we have made some moves that have not allowed us a ton of options asset wise, but yeah if there is something that will make us better without morgaging our future....why not?

I ain't ancient and by no means do I feel old. However, the challenges of getting older while still holding this place close to the chest is that time becomes a factor. Work, Family, Kids, Leisure and Mortgage payments really do play a roll. Believe me kids, mortgage payments are annoying as fuck but in the end you do get some reward for them. The issue with doing the VHL while older is that the responsibilities are already great and many times you get little time to sit down and write something or do a graphic. If it isn't money that catches up to you, it's Father Time; literally. One of the biggest lessons I learned the first time I'm here is not to argue with the little immature kids, which I think have all left or grown up (I hope). It's one the reasons I took a break for so long. You had guys who clearly hadn't left Mama's basement, arguing about who knows more about NHL or their teams history which dates back to 1924. Don't get caught doing that

Sorry sir, some of us little immature kids are still here :pierre:

  4. MALMO PROSPECT SPOTLIGHT - THREE SHEETS TO THE WIND

    image.png.44f7b87d2a2d648d280febde1254a0f3.png

Now that the season has begun, and especially considering Malmo has so few prospects actually playing in either the VHLM or VHLE, I will be looking at all the active players each week in an attempt to follow their seasons from beginning to end.  The Nighthawks currently have three active prospects which include Eugene Ryanheart (19th Overall Pick in S94), Jorgen Lovstrom (7th Overall Pick in S93) and Gabriel Finley (33rd Overall Pick in S94).  I have chosen to leave off Olafur Gunnleifsson as while he is having a good start to his season with Rome of the VHLE (6-3-1, .914 SV%, 2.71 GAA), he is neither active or frankly anywhere to be found (seriously I don't even think the member still has an account anymore on the site).

Eugene Ryanheart is where I will start and he may very well be having the biggest impact of all.  Coming off being selected in the second round of the VHL Draft, one might expect the power forward to have a solid season as he entered the VHLE for the first time.  With that being said, the forward who is coming off a respectable but not outstanding 47 point season in the VHLM, is tearing Europe apart over the first ten games of the season.  Ryanheart currently has 7 goals, 10 assists and 17 points over that stretch, putting him 4th in Points, tied for 4th in Goals and tied for 5th in Assists.  The Canadian currently finds himself on pace for 50 goals, 72 assists and 122 points, and while he is unlikely to keep this stretch up, one can't help but feel good about how easy the acclimation to the higher level of hockey has been.  While some will point to Vasteras and their dominant offense perhaps propelling Ryanheart up (he is third on their team in scoring and one of four players in the top-10 in points) it would be unfair to not also recognize his contribution to their offensive production as he absolutely lighting the opponents net up.  I am so excited to see this start for him and I can't wait to keep watching in hopes to see him continue to dominate.

    Statistical Breakdown: 10 Games Played, 7 Goals, 10 Assists, 17 Points, +1, 16 Hits

Jorgen Lovstrom was a goalie that I looked at last week as likely the future successor to Ash Sparks and the bonafide number one of the Malmo Nighthawks.  After an incredible campaign last season, Lovstrom has had a decent but unspectacular start to the season as while the Iron Eagles are scoring a ton of goals (leading the league), they have also allowed over three goals per game.  Whether it has been the defensive play in front of him or Lovstrom's play himself, I do expect to see consistent improvement as the year goes in.  Even still, Jorgen has faced a lot of shots per game (43.4) and still boasts a solid .926 Save Percentage (2nd best in the VHLE) to go along with a 4-5-1 record and 3.20 GAA.  I expect as the season goes on, Vasteras will tighten up and Lovstrom will take that next step, but even still his future is bright and even while facing a lot of rubber, he seems mostly unphased overall.

    Statistical Breakdown: 10 Games Played, 4-5-1, 3.20 GAA, .926 SV%, 0 SO

Finally, we will look at the only player of these three that is still playing in the VHLM.  Gabriel Finley was a bit of a sleeper pick for the Nighthawks, falling all the way to 33rd overall in the recent dispersal draft, mainly off the back of a decent 20 point season in a shortened 34 game campaign.  Finley is still finding his footing as a member of the Mexico City Kings but has shown consistent improvement and work ethic since being drafted to the team 8th overall in the recent VHLM Draft.  Finley has 2 goals and 4 points in his 8 games thus far, and has shown improvement in his two-way player since last season mainly off the back of his impressive puckmoving skills in his own end.  The Kings are a bit of a powerhouse (league-best 7 wins thus far) so there are a lot of players that will be demanding the puck, but I see Finley being a really solid complimentary piece with his high-end playmaking skills, solid physicality and improved two-way ability really aiding their top-6 as they look to make a run at the Founders Cup.  Finley is the type of player that could really see a glowup as the season goes on and I will certainly be keeping my eye out for it.

    1. Baseball. It's my favorite sport, period.

    2. I'll say the Nighthawks, Watchmen, and Marauders.

    3. Without question, Calgary. I don't always agree with everything in the VSN season preview, but ranking them as the 6th best team in the North American Conference I would have definitely agreed with. For them to be 11-0 at this point is astonishing. It's not even like they've had a cakewalk of a schedule so far. Six of their games have been against teams that I had pegged as playoff teams. Honestly, I still expect them to miss the playoffs because I don't think they can keep this up, but then again, I wouldn't expect them to be where they are now, so who knows.

    1. What is something that you think could be a good addition to the player store? If you don't have any ideas, what would be your thoughts on the option of purchasing extra seasons beyond the usual career limits?

    2. If the VHL were to expand or a team from each conference were to relocate, what would be your proposed location of a team for each of the North American and European Conferences?

    3. Do you think you get enough sleep?

    1. I wouldn’t be a big fan of purchasing extra seasons, but I wouldn’t mind seeing some options where you can upgrade specific attributes at a discounted rate.

    2. I think Edmonton or Montreal would be good options for NA.  For EU, I would lean to Berlin myself.

    3. Not even close unfortunately.  I need an extra 2-3 a night on average probably.

    —-

    1. How has the season started for your player?

    2. Are there any other leagues that you partake in or have been apart of in the past? If so, are there anything those leagues did that you would like to see in the VHL?

    3. Who do you have in the Stanley Cup? Edmonton or Florida?

  6. MALMO PROSPECT SPOTLIGHT - JORGEN LOVSTROM READY TO TAKE THE MANTLE

    image.png.44f7b87d2a2d648d280febde1254a0f3.png

The Malmo Nighthawks are entering their last season with Ash Sparks at the helm, a goalie that has manned the pipes for the last five seasons to the tune of 183 wins and a .926 save percentage over the course of 315 games.  With one final good season, he could find himself at the top of several Malmo goaltending records and likely with a retired jersey in the rafters.  Those are big shoes to fill and a challenge for anyone that is likely to take up the mantle next.  Karl Herzlich seems like a solid piece that should slot in once Sparks is gone and give Malmo a few good seasons as an improving and reliable netminder, but there is another name waiting in the wings that seems to have grabbed much of the attention in Malmo.

Jorgen Lovstrom is a netminder that has been making waves since his impressive rookie (and only) season in the VHLM, as a member of the Philadelphia Reapers.  It was there that saw the goalie win the Benoit Devereux Trophy, Skylar Rift Trophy, Mitch Higgins Trophy and the Founder’s Cup, all in Season 92….and he was never even drafted into the VHLM! He would, however, be drafted 16th overall to Vasteras in the VHLE Draft and 7th overall to Malmo, as their General Manager was seeking someone that could take over the mantle for Sparks when his time had come to an end.

Lovetrom impressed in his first VHLE season, despite only playing 39 games, as he recorded a 21-14-3 record with a 2.34 GAA and .931 SV%.  All he does is win, recording a ridiculous 69-22-7 record over the course of his professional career.  The one place he really didn’t win was on Team World at the WJHC, but even there despite going 0-1-3, Lovstrom was still really good with a .934 SV% and 3.06 GAA, as he always gave his team a chance to win and kept them in it at all times.  That is the marquee of a top notch goalie and one that Malmo has to be excited to see the growth of this upcoming season.

Lovstrom boasts incredible hand speed and reaction time and despite being a bit smaller when it comes to goalies, is incredible difficult to beat high.  His quick glove is paired with good positioning and solid rebound control, with his well-rounded skillset being proven throughout his professional career thus far.  He has some improvements to make in his side-to-side consistency and technique, and he will always be discredited for his smaller build in net, but there is a lot to like from this talented and young goaltender.  Most importantly, he has proven to be a good teammate and someone that is easily coachable and always looking to learn so here is hoping that the next era between the pipes is as good as the one that is just about to end.  I for one, am very excited to see how Lovstrom progresses as he enters his second, and likely final, season in the VHLE.

    4. I hate the draft lottery and I don't really care about tanking, so id maybe just make it so only the bottom 3 teams can get 1st overall.

    5. Travelling a little bit but this season will be focused on overcoming some of the regression older age can bring.  As im getting older, I find I have to focus on my training a little bit more.

    6. Welcome to the team! Awesome graphic and if you need anything, please let me know!

  8. MALMO PROSPECT SPOTLIGHT - S94 DRAFTEES

    image.png.47dc61ec65d0f5f0f78652d6ded2573d.png

After a disappointing ending to their season, the Malmo Nighthawks have moved on to the offseason in hopes to improve their team so that they can finally take the next step they have been looking for.  However, you also need to look towards your future as the current core is starting to approach the dreaded depreciation stage of their careers, and the Nighthawks have to make every pick count without 1st Round Picks over the next few drafts.  The Nighthawks ultimately used four picks in the recent Season 94 Dispersal Draft (19, 33, 41 and 44) with three of those players already signing contracts with their new franchise.  This prospect spotlight will shed some proverbial light on these players, as they approach their first off-season with a VHL team.

Eugene Ryanheart was selected with the 19th pick by Malmo and is a big bodied winger that trends as a strong offensive performer.  His skating is decent and he is a pretty equally proficient shooter and playmaker.  He has some work to do defensively and he has to still grow a bit into his frame, but I am expecting big things from the Canadian after he recorded 19 goals and 47 points in his first VHLM season with the Las Vegas Aces.  I assume he will find his way back to Las Vegas, but the VHLE should not be far away and I definitely think he may end up a very solid value steal for the Nighthawks, as they seek some prospects that can grow into being excellent offensive contributors.

Gabriel Finley was the team’s 33th pick and despite only playing 34 games for Miami last season, the mid-season pickup had a really solid campaign for them.  With 7 goals and 20 points to go along with 52 hits, Finley paced for 42 points and 110 hits over the course of the season.  The Canadian teenager is a great puckhandler and has shown both excellent vision and a solid shot, and projects as a potential second line winger in the future for Malmo if his development continues in the right direction.  Time will see if he has a higher ceiling, but this tall but lanky winger should be a prospect to keep an eye out for as he will enter the Season 94 VHLM Dispersal Draft this off-season.

Trevon Rider was selected with the 41st pick by Malmo, and while he has yet to officially sign a contract, the Nighthawks are hoping the Canadian winger (notice a trend?) will sign on relatively soon.  He was a teammate of Ryanheart’s this past season, tallying a pretty impressive 21 goals and 48 points over the 72 game season.  He is a bit of a jack-of-all-trades -player, but the ultimate concern is whether or not his development can stay on track in order for him to be more than a VHLM/VHLE talent.  Time will tell, but if he puts his mind to it, Rider could be seen suiting up in Malmo’s colours in the future.

Finally, Dakota Nachbaur was a 44th overall pick who split the season with both Mexico City and Saskatoon.  He is a decent skater and a bit of a jack-of-all-trades defender that has a bit of growing to do both physically and talent wise.  He did have a decent pre-VHLM draft campaign that saw the Canadian figure in on 26 goals and add 121 hits and 80 blocked shots.  While there is a lot of developing to do, and Nachbaur is already 27 years old, it isn’t completely unheard of to see an older talent find his way through the VHLM and make the long ride.  I like what I see with Nachbaur and ultimately I look forward to seeing where he lands in the VHLM Dispersal Draft.

Shoutout to @Steve for his incredible graphic used above.

    Week of: May 19th, 2024

Answer 6 of these questions for 2 TPE

    1. Another Victory Cup, another early playoff exit. How well do you think we will bounce back next season?

    3. We traded to bring in @Dom. Welcome him to the team!

    4. Where do you think we finish in the standings next season?

    5. What’s your late night go to meal?

    6. Books or movies?

    7. What are you most excited about for next season?

    8. HYPOTHETICAL: If you had to play hockey with either a crappy stick or crappy skates, which would you choose?

    1. I hope well.  It’s a bit disheartening but just have to keep moving forward and try to improve.

    3. Welcome @Dom Awesome to have you here and can’t wait to get to know you a little better.

    4. I have to believe we will be a top two or three team in the EU.  Hopefully with the moves we have made of late, we can get another Victory Cup and try and translate it to the playoffs.

    5. I should have less of these but usually if it’s really late night, I like to do grilled cheese on my panini press.

    6. I’m a movie guy more myself but I’ve wanted to get back into  reading a little bit more.  Just harder to keep my attention.

    7. Hoping to see us progress and get our chance to engrave our names on the Continental Cup.

  10. MY SEASON 93 VHL AWARD BALLOT

Oh hello again, I finally have a home that I can live in again (that sounds worse than it is, but basically been on the move a lot lately and only just settling in now) and I wanted to get back to writing some articles.  With the Awards conversation going on over the last week or so in the Board of Governors, I thought it would be a good chance to be transparent and unveil my award ballot.  For the record, this isn’t for me to argue my side on things, but rather just to show my reasoning and what I was thinking when I made my selections.  I also want to note that I actually found a few of these votes very difficult, and the Board of Governors was pretty split on quite a few of these, so I will try and bring forth some of the other names talked about that I debated on as well.  So ultimately, I do hope you enjoy and try not to claw my eyes out okay? OKAY. LETS GO!

DAVID KNIGHT TROPHY (TOP GM) - BLAKE CAMPBELL [SEA] @Banackock
Let’s get this out of the way so Bana can stop reading after this first award.  I made this vote prior to Bana creating his article on why he feels he deserves it, but ultimately I also agreed.  Even if you want to ignore the playoffs, which they won the Continental Cup of course (congrats btw), they were also the best team in the North American Conference and the second best in the entire VHL with 103 points (only trailing Malmo’s 106).  The interesting thing about his season is that he went from being a young decent team to making moves at the deadline that transformed his squad into a juggernaut, one that went into their eventual successful playoff campaign with an eight game winning streak to end the season.  They were not expected to be a top team going into the season (were picked to finish 7th in the NA), but the acquisitions of a number of players including Daryl Dixon and Fuukka Rask propelled them along the way.  We can argue the in’s and out’s of his moves, but results matter and for me, he is the easy winner of this award.

DUSTIN FUNK TROPHY (MOST IMPROVED) - KING KISSLINGER [WAR] @Kisslinger
I always dislike this award because it has by far the most people on the ballot, and usually has at least two or three players that are right around the same from an improvement side of things.  Frankly, this year's vote was no different.  I looked at Wann Kerr who saw an improvement of 21 goals and 47 points, going from excellent forward to one of the best in the entire league.  He even improved his physicality, posting his best hits season yet and showed a knack for scoring big goals, with eleven game winners (good enough for second in the VHL).  I really felt Spanish Moon Moth was an excellent candidate as well, seeing a 30 goal and 62 point increase on his freshman campaign.  He played a lot in Season 92, so can’t really argue that his role took a massive increase, and it's pretty impressive to see a player go from an incredibly low total in points to being a 40+ goal scorer that was well over a point per game.  Ultimately though, while I was leaning towards Moon Moth, I ended up going with King Kisslinger who saw a 24 goal and 61 point increase.  He would do this while also becoming a more physical player, going from 49 hits to 140.  This was a really tough vote, and I think it could end up being a pretty split vote, but I ultimately did decide with Kisslinger on this one.

CHRISTIAN STOLZSCHWEIGER TROPHY (TOP ROOKIE) - LOGAN NINEFINGERS [VAN] @Scurvy
This was another difficult award as while there is usually a very obvious winner, I actually felt we had three very solid candidates on this ballot.  For me, it mainly broke down to Theo Allard and Logan Ninefingers.  A quick shout out to James MacAvoy on a 31 goal and 70 point campaign which is frankly….awesome!  Theo Allard was the only rookie that was above a point per game, and that is not an easy task at all.  Finishing with 28 goals and 70 points, he was the more disciplined yet less physical player between him and Ninefingers.  I flipped a coin and ultimately felt it was a little more impressive that Ninefingers was able to be such a strong power forward, leading rookies in goals with 32 and also being an absolute tank on the ice.  This really is one I went back and forth on probably more than any other award, and even as I write this, I am not fully sold on who I went with.  I did go with Ninefingers here though (and I do genuinely think I may be in the minority on this one).

SCOTT BOULET TROPHY (TOP TWO-WAY FORWARD) - JOHN JAMESON [PRG] @Frank
I do actually enjoy that a lot of the awards that I was most back-and-forth on are some of the first ones we are discussing (spoiler that I am pretty locked in on the rest of these), but this one was another absolute struggle for me.  Again too, this is not an award I usually have such a hard time voting on.  I definitely could see myself being in the minority on this one as three specific names got brought up just as much as this name, and I did submit my vote while toiling between a few of them.  Wayne Kerr had a 58 goal, 127 point and 247 hit campaign while being an absolute force in every zone on the ice.  Vincent Laroche-Gagnier had only 205 hits but blocked an impressive 66 shots (the most of any player on the ballot) and finished with a tremendous 55 goals and 109 points himself but more impressively finished with just 67 PIM, meaning he was on the ice for more shorthanded situations than some of the other top players on this ballot.  I ultimately went with John Jameson though, who tied Kerr for the most points on the ballot with 127, finished with 250 hits (second most on ballot) and an impressive 63 blocked shots as well.  The knock on Jameson, and the thing I admittedly didn’t consider as much as I am now, is that he finished with 187 PIM.  Although one could note that he did also have nine fights, so at least he wasn’t always putting his team shorthanded in these situations I guess.  Whether that matters to all of you? Yeah, I don’t know either but there are a few guys that have legitimate cases to get votes here.  This would be Jameson's second Scott Boulet Trophy of his career, if the votes go his way.

AIDAN SHAW TROPHY (TOP GOALIE) - LACHLAN SUMMERS [WAR] @kirbithan
Lets get to some of the easier votes, as while Matt Murdock (41 Wins, .930 SV%, 2.56 GAA) had an impressive season, and Ash Sparks was one of the driving factors behind Malmo’s Victory Cup, Lachlan Summers stood tall above all of his competition.  In a year where goalies were effectively nerfed, Summers dominated with a 40-23-2 record and a blistering .935 save percentage and 2.61 GAA.  While Murdock specifically had a backup who actually had similarly impressive numbers in their very short sample size, Warsaw’s backup (Pipo Popa) finished with a .908 Save Percentage and 2.92 GAA, showing the significant difference in quality that Summers displayed when he was between the pipes.  This would be Lachlan's second Aidan Shaw Trophy if he gets the votes that I expect him to (you think he would have more with a .931 career save percentage in the VHL).

BLAKE WYLDE TROPHY (TOP DEFENSIVE DEFENSEMAN) - SKOR MCFLEURY [PRG] @Alex
The biased person in me wanted to vote for my boy Jacob Stone (and he was incredible and second for me in this vote), but it’s pretty hard to argue against McFleury when he recorded 263 hits, 227 blocked shots and was a +39 in addition to all of his offensive accomplishments.  Tord Tvel deserves a shoutout for an awesome campaign that saw him record 185 blocked shots and 149 hits, while Phil Strasmore was a physical monster that also recorded a ton of blocked shots (161).

ALEXANDER VALIQ TROPHY (TOP OFFENSIVE DEFENSEMAN) - SKOR MCFLEURY [PRG] @Alex
David Jokinen did lead all defenders in points this year with 103, but I do think the argument against him is that he did it while being the major offensive presence on a not very good team.  Mark Calaway was definitely my candidate. I looked at the most alongside Skor McFleury, as he did have an impressive 32 goals and 85 points for the DC Dragons.  Ultimately, I went with the 17 points over the 8 goals, but this is the only award that I think McFleury may not end up winning of the three major defenseman awards.  This would be McFleury's second Alexander Valiq Trophy if he was to win this award.

STERLING LABATTE TROPHY (TOP DEFENSEMAN) - SKOR MCFLEURY [PRG] @Alex
This one really is ultimately a no-brainer for me as I went with McFleury for both Top Defensive and Offensive, and he was without a doubt the most well-rounded defenseman in the VHL this season.  A lot of great seasons from players I have already mentioned like Calaway, Stone and Jokinen, but this was Skor’s season on top to say the least.  If he is able to pull it off, this will actually be McFleury's first time winning the elusive Sterling Labatte Trophy, despite an incredible seven season career thus far.

DAISUKE KANOU TROPHY (PLAYOFF MVP) - LLOYD BRAUN [LDN] @Toast
Y’all ready for the hardest Playoff MVP vote in league history? I am not sure if that’s necessarily true but quite a few of us acknowledged how it was an incredibly weird year for this role.  Seattle really won their Continental Cup on a complete team effort with all eleven of their skaters recorded double digits in points during their nineteen game run.  Fuukka Rask was impressive in their playoff run, but ultimately not even sure he was a top two or three goalie during the playoffs overall.  I will be up front in that I considered three players for this award in Severus Targaryen, Wann Kerr and Lloyd Braun.  Targaryen recorded 9 goals and 23 points in 19 games (34 goals, 87 points and 125 hits over a 72 game pace) on route to a Seattle Continental Cup win.  Kerr had 12 goals and 27 points and an impressive 57 hits over their 16 playoff games (57 goals, 122 points and 257 hits over a 72 game pace), and while London did not win the Continental Cup, they ultimately lost in seven games and I am not going to hold that entirely against them with that kind of performance.  And while yes, that is similar to his regular season performance, that’s actually sorta wild to see that kind of production against only playoff teams.  I ultimately went with Lloyd Braun though because I felt he dominated his position more than anyone else and really set the standard for elite defenders over the playoffs.  He finished with seven more points than Mina (in three less games) and was the only defender that played at least ten games that was able to hit a point per game.  Ultimately, he finished with 23 points, 53 hits and 41 blocked shots (good enough for an insane 31 goals, 103 points, 239 hits and 185 blocked shots over a 72 game pace……and only 72 PIM btw!).  Again, yes they did not win the Continental Cup, but this was a bit of a weird year for the winner, and I really did feel that Braun was the most impactful overall player.

SCOTTY CAMPBELL TROPHY (LEAGUE MVP) - LACHLAN SUMMERS [WAR] @kirbithan
For me, Wann Kerr and John Jameson were absolute forces and in almost any other year, I think they could walk away with the Scotty Campbell Trophy, but summer is on its way and Lachlan got an early start.  Warsaw did finish just fifth in the European Conference, but it is important to note that they would have tied D.C. for the third most points if they were in the North American Conference.  More importantly, when looking at the quality of Warsaw…while they had a few tremendous contributors, it was Summers who really stirred the drink and considering the dominance over his own position and how great his year was despite the nerfs that goalies took, I went with Summers overall.  Again, some great campaigns by these three guys, but that is the route I ultimately went.  I wouldn’t blame anyone for going with any of the three.  Admittedly I am running a bit out of steam so while I would like to give you a few other reasons, I did go into a bit about Lachlan's season earlier on.

    1. Psh, surprised that a team coached and led by Bana won? Come on now. I wasn't born yesterday. The guy's a known winner.

    2. Chicago, of course! Why would anybody else? 😛

    3. I'm personally a nay, but I can see the appeal of having pineapple on pizza. It may not work for me but I'm not going to go out of my way to stop others from enjoying it if that's their thing.

    1. If you're a student/currently without employment, what job would you enjoy working in? If you're currently employed, are you in the job you want to stay in long-term, or do you have different aspirations?

    2. Who's the best remaining team in the NHL playoffs? And if you think they're the best -- are they also the same team who's most likely to win the Cup?

    3. If you had the option, would you want VHL seasons to be longer or shorter (in duration or number of games)? Why?

    Hi Renooooo

    1. Absolutely not interested in staying with what I’m doing.  Hoping to branch out and do something a little more lucrative some day.  For now…it pays the bills.

    2. I like the Panthers myself at this point. Not sure if they are the favourite but I think they are one of them.

    3. I like the length but I wouldn’t hate an 82 game seasons.  I like the overall length tho of the season.  Games need to be every day.

    1. I’ve been debating my next player recently and am wondering, what position do you think you’ll make next?

    2. Wife and I have been looking at cruises recently as a little baby moon.  What place would you like to visit most in the world?

    3. I’ve been in this league a long time and seen a ton of changes that have helped the league grow into what it is today. What change would you implement, if given the power to do so, to help improve any of the VHL, VHLE or VHLM?

I think a separate Builder thread is a sensible move and I will try to remember to do that for next season.

Not opposed to the minimum tenure requirement although I don't think that will eliminate anyone currently on the list as that would just be anyone who joined S74 onwards.

    Yeah it’s a good thought.

I was mostly not super around during Acyds time in his bigger roles, so most of my memory is as I believe an updated during his Seattle playing days (I may be wrong about that).  But I don’t have any reason to not vote him and trust you guys on that one.

One of the least conclusive Hall of Fame lists in my time voting but me not being as involved in discussion didn’t help that so I apologize for that.  Will try and be better if afforded that chance next offseason.
