  9. Very well done! The music and transitions were very well executed. The timing of the music with the cuts of highlights was nicely done, and the specific highlights that you chose were awesome. I would have imposed some type of text to announce the WJC or maybe included the logo of the VHL or something in there to make it look more like a marketing video. Aside from that, super cool! I wish there would be more video submissions. 9/10
  10. Yes! A draft graphic! I love these! Some standard CC then, first there is a lot of dead space in the bottom left, I would have put more information or put something in there just to have it occupied. The name being clipped by the player render is very well done, as well as the jersey swap. Overall, this is a great concept and I think it could have some potential to look really nice. The logo in the upper left with the paint splotch effect also looks fantastic. Keep it up! 8/10
  11. Ixazaluoh Nabs Bronze Medal This past week, the annual World Junior Hockey Championships took place. As we discussed in our last article, Toronto Legion defenseman, Cadmael Ixazaluoh, was selected for his second showing on Team World. The competition looked to be as stacked as it did the year previously, though this time, Cadmael seemed to enter the tournament with the swagger only a league veteran could have. He immediately helped bring his team up to the play-in level, despite dropping 3 games early on. Cadmael never performed over 1 point a game, but he pretty consistently did do just that, ending the tournament with 2 goals and 6 assists in only 10 games, featuring 38 hits and 20 total shots blocked. This ranked Cadmael among the more defensive-defenseman, something a bit different than what we are used to seeing from the Guatemalan player. We managed to catch up with him to ask him about just that: Interviewer: "Cadmael, what was your mindset going into the WJHC?" Cadmael: "Well this is my chance to practice before the start of my first season in the VHL. I worked on passing and setting up my teammates in Bratislava, so I wanted a chance to work on some defense before I started here in Toronto." Interviewer: "You managed to upset Team Canada of all teams to win the Bronze Medal, how does that make you feel?" Cadmael: "Quite elated actually. This is the first thing that I have earned on my own since starting in the VHL, it feels like the fruit of my labor is starting to pay off, and I think my patience will reward itself." Interviewer: "There are rumors that you have also taken an interest in coaching/management, is there a chance you would work with the VHLM franchise in Mexico City to bring hockey more south?" Cadmael: "Uhhh, while I cannot speak to anything about Mexico City, as I am focused here in Toronto, I will say that helping others and being a guide is something that I have always enjoyed so, maybe in the future. Who knows."
  12. Your sigs always blow me away and takes me back to the days of when I was on gaming forums. People would often make sigs with this same type of style, but you manage to knock it out of the park almost every time. The custom logo I think looks very nice and may even fit better than the current one does. Only CC is that the 'London United' text probably could have used a bit of a space between the words, because I totally thought this dudes name was just 'LondonUnited Pearce' for a hot second. Another banger BOOM! 10/10
  13. Ok yeah, I gotta talk about this one too! This is a very well done piece! The small things like the swaps in the background, the name tape change, and even some of the venue features being swapped is awesome. I will part some advice that I like to use to try and cover up some of the artifacts from the editing a bit better. I like to use a noise filter on all the layers and that makes it look more uniform, or if the edits are actually apart of the original photo. This is as close to perfection as you can get my guy! 9.5/10
  14. Suuuuuper clean logo swap on the jersey there. Hell I'm not even sure if the original jersey you used was even black/silver. If it's recolored, it's well done. Though I have some suspicion about the silver being added in or color corrected somehow. Either way, its not too obvious and it looks very nice. My only gripe is the logo you used for the NHL crest is just a teeny bit off but I can't quite tell how. I think it could just be that the lighting doesn't match up. Regardless, very well done! 9/10
  15. Toronto Press Conference: VHL Draft Edition! 1. Drafting at 9th overall, Toronto selected defenseman Bo Johansson @Shindigs, further adding to the Legion's defensive depth. He factors to join pro roster for Season 83, spending this season in the VHLE with the Bratislava Watchmen. What type of impact can we expect from Johansson as a pro? I only hope that the roster continues to fill out with talented players. This team deserves some hardware, so I only hope we can come together and do something amazing. 2. At 25th overall, Toronto drafted Phoebe Bridgers @GrittyIsKing, adding another prospect into contention to fill in for the loss of Otto Numinen in the future. What could set Bridgers apart from other forward prospects in Toronto's pipeline? Bridgers could bring some perspective and youth to locker room! 3. Johansson and Bridgers were the two additions Toronto made through the Season 82 VHL Entry Draft, passing with their fifth round selection. How would you rate the Legion's draft class? Small numbers, but quality over quantity! 4. Who do you think was the biggest steal in this season's draft? I honestly didn't pay enough attention to the draft to see, but I am surprised that we managed to pick up Shindigs as late as we did. 5. What's your mindset like heading into Season 82? God, I hope this simulator doesn't fuck me this season. 6. If a VHL logo of your choice came to life, which one do you feel you'd have the easiest time beating up? Vancouver Wolves, I could beat up a dumb dog.
  16. Sign up, please.
  17. I’m done arguing about this. Its fucking being worked on. Believe me or don’t, I don’t care, but we’re working on it. We ♂ can’t ♂ overhaul the league attributes overnight. Rushing into changes is how we end up with horrible changes that make ♀♀ everything worse.

  20. I loved seeing the Clue renders and I wanted to make one haha Yes, the intentional yellow is 100% intentional. This is all a big clickbait lol
  21. IXAZALUOH TRAINS IN TORONTO In our last article, we managed to catch up with the ever-so elusive Cadmael Ixazaluoh, the Guatemalan Defeseman with the bite for blocking shots. He recently made his way to Toronto to begin his work with the Toronto Legion, but not before some off-season formalities, including the potential World Junior Championship selection. Because of his age and experience, Cadmael will be able to qualify for the World Junior Championship for Team World, which he is all but assumed to be chosen for. As usual, we manage to catch up with Cadmael between practices to ask him about his thoughts: Interviewer: "Cadmael! Cadmael!" Cadmael: "Ah! Buenas! What can I do for you today?" Interviewer: "Cadmael, we know you're on a tight schedule so we will keep this as brief as we can. Are you going to be selected for Team World?" Cadmael: "Maybe. I have been in touch with the front office of Team World and I am hoping that I have proven myself to at least be a worthy leading presence if selected." Interviewer: "Cadmael, you're coming off quite a season in the VHLE, are you expecting the same kind of output in the VHL?" Cadmael: "You know, I can only hope that I produce as half as well as I did in the E. The VHL is a whole different league and I will need to adapt quickly if I am to overcome this." Interviewer: "You have been quite active in the Locker Room of Toronto despite not playing a game with them, how has your interactions with the team helped you prepare for the VHL?" Cadmael: "Well it's good to be able to have some veterans to lean on, especially when you'll be playing with them next season. The quicker I can get to know them, the quicker we can start winning. Interviewer: "Thanks for your time Cadmael." Cadmael: "Hasta pronto." Until next time! Words: 316
